Jiaxu Hui: Talking about the Celestial Phenomenon
The veins of Songshan Mountain are towering into the clouds. When they stand on the top of this mountain, they look down at the magnificent scenery of the mountains and mountains below the peaks, they can't help but feel like they are swallowing the world.
And this Songshan Mountain is not far away from a hot land with many talents. The name of this land is Yingchuan County.
As early as the time of Emperor Huan Ling, two wise men in Yingchuan hid in Songshan Mountain without caring about the world, but often played chess and discussed the world's affairs. These two were Sima Hui, the "Ice Mirror" and Zuo Ci and Zuo Yuanfang, a master of Taoism.
During the reign of Emperor Xian of Han, Yingchuan County was not overly invaded by war, so the people here lived a little more peaceful life, had superior academic discipline, and had a spring of talent. Sima Hui and Zuo Ci searched for talents everywhere and cultivated them to govern troubled times. Among them, the Xun family stood out the most, especially Xun Yu and Xun You's uncle and nephew were the most dazzling, and Sima Hui and him were both teachers and friends. Zuo Ci successively accepted Chen Qun and Xu Shu as their disciples and taught them military strategies. Later, these people made their own contributions to pacifying troubled times.
In 190 AD, Dong Zhuo took the emperor hostage and moved west to Chang'an. Xun Yu resigned from his official position and returned to Yingchuan with his disciple Guo Jia. Shortly after arriving, Xun Yu was eager to take Guo Jia to the Dafawang Temple on Yuzhu Peak in Songshan to meet Zuo Ci and Sima Hui.
After entering the temple, the two met Master Huiyin. Xun Yu and he naturally would not feel unfamiliar with him many times. However, Guo Jia first saw this rice-yellow robe, with vast eyes and thin bones, so that his face covered by wax skin and shoulders covered by monk robe were all clearly angular. When he reached out to Xun Yu for luggage, he could vaguely see the messy concave patterns on both sides of his palms, as dense as thin gray lines wrapped around his hands. At first glance, it seemed as if a strong wind could blow it away.
Xun Yu bowed and said, "Master is so good lately?"
Huiyin replied with a Buddhist etiquette: "Tell Mr. Wenruo to be worried, and Mr. Yuan Fang and De Cao have been waiting in the thatched cottage for a long time."
After hearing the old monk's words, Guo Jia sighed in a low voice: "I knew we were visiting without the publicity. Are they amazing?"
After walking a hundred steps in the long corridor, Xun Yu stopped by the door, bowed and said inward:
"My younger brother Xun Yu, I'm here to pay my respects to you two gentlemen."
This door is only empty frame, and there is no door that can be locked. It is only a green bamboo roller blind covering it. Through the gaps of the bamboo joints, you can vaguely smell the faint rosin seeping out of the house. It makes you feel at ease and all your worries disappear.
He replied in the room: "If Wen doesn't have to be too polite, let's come in."
After following Xun Yu into the house, Guo Jia saw the walls full of astrological images. Apart from that, there was nothing special about the room except a little gauze floating in the wind. Until Xun Yu led him through the front hall to the inner room, he saw the two sitting opposite each other on the couch. After realizing that after he came in next year, one of the old men looked down at the chessboard in front of him, without looking up, just said lightly:
"What's the matter here?"
After saying that, he reached out to pick up the black pieces in the shallow ink wood grain cup and placed them on the chessboard, without looking at them from beginning to end.
Xun Yu said: "Sometimes ago, Gongda and Youruo came to visit the two gentlemen. It has been a while since then. Dong Zhuo wants to burn Luoyang to move the capital to Chang'an. After returning home, he specially brought his student Guo Jia to visit."
The old man had white strands and long beard, but he was very energetic and looked energetic. After hearing this, he still didn't look up and asked:
"Sun Wentai was wearing a strong and holding a sharp edge all the way. Dong Zhuo was forced to burn Luoyang to travel west just three hours ago. I and De Cao Gong only calculated yesterday that your astrological constellations can increase a lot."
At this time, Xun Yu looked sideways at Guo Jia beside him, and recommended to Zuo Ci and Sima Hui, "I am not talented. Although I realize that Dong Zhuo is not good at his heart, I do not see that he has the intention to burn Luoyang. The reason is the person beside me, he."
The man opposite the white-haired old man snatched and said, "He was Guo's surname and his name were Jia, and his courtesy name was Fengxiao. He was your fellow countryman."
This man has brown hair, beards long to his chest, and looks peaceful. Compared with the former, there is no obvious fairy-like spirit, but it adds a bit of elegance. However, at this point, the two of them are still only attached to the black and white chess pieces on the chessboard and have no intention of raising their heads.
After hearing this, Guo Jia bowed humbly and asked: "How do you know your name?"
The elder brown-haired man pinched his fingers and thought about the chess game, and replied: "In the past, Mr. Guo once wrote to Mr. Yuan Fang, saying that his master Yuan Shao had escaped a young man with a shocking talent named Guo and Jia. After reading this, Mr. Yuan Fang made a divination for him, and then he learned that you are here today."
After hearing this, Guo Jia asked again: "Since Mr. Yuanfang has calculated my life for me, I beg for advice."
At this time, the white-haired old man put the chess piece that was originally placed on the chessboard back into the cup and sighed: "Brother Decao, it's rare that we have played a wonderful chess game all day. I think this game of chess should not be played again, otherwise my move will be over."
Seeing that the two of them were not going to answer him, Guo Jia bravely stepped forward, and after watching the chess game in detail, he smiled and took out a black piece from the chess cup and placed it on the chessboard: "If you don't win or lose, why play for a day?"
This behavior shocked Xun Yu.
After looking at it, the old man with white hair sighed and said, "Chess is also good, but it is short."
Then he took out the brocade and covered it on the chessboard: "I'm afraid I will never be able to watch the wonderful game again, so I'd better save it."
Sima Hui felt something after hearing this. Although he sighed, he comforted him: "This good guy will be able to end the game."
Guo Jia, who had returned to his original position, only felt that their conversation was different, but he didn't know what he was saying. Before he could ask in detail, Zuo Ci and Sima Hui had already raised their heads and turned to look at him and Xun Yu. Zuo Ci gently caressed his white beard and said:
"I look at the celestial phenomena every day. The traitor Dong Zhuo has been sentenced to three years in troubled times. At that time, the world will be in chaos. You need to find a master who saves the world to assist you to determine the disaster of the universe. You must not be like Guo Tu and make a decision on your future with Yuan Shao."
After hearing this, Xun Yu said, "I have heard that the thirteen princes raised an army to attack Dong. Although the momentum was very powerful, there was no practical result. Only Cao Cao and Sun Jian actively fought, so I expected that the matter would be accomplished."
Sima Hui said: "Although Sun Jian is brave, he has the ability to fight and fight the battlefield and has privately kept the jade seal of the country. Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and others must have become suspicious of him. He will die in the battlefield shortly after the alliance collapses."
Guo Jia said: "A few years ago, I was invited by Guo Tu to go to Yuan Shao. However, after a short day of time, I realized that he was not a wise ruler. He only had the expression of Zhou Gong's courtesy of wise men, but he had no talent to use his talents. Therefore, I also advised Mr. Guo Tu to leave Yuan Shao."
Zuo Ci said: "With Guo Tu's ability, he is not ignoring Yuan Shao's nature. He just wants to use Yuan Shao's banner."
The sun wheel sets westward and hangs at the moment of the red clouds. The red light enters the house from the window, sinking like blood.
Xun Yu whispered: "It seems that only Cao Gong Meng De can surrender."
After saying that, Xun Yu looked at Guo Jia again. Guo Jia knew that he wanted to join him with him to surrender to Cao Cao, so he deliberately pretended not to see him.
After the meeting was dispersed, Xun Yu once again suggested that Guo Jia and him go to work with him at Cao Cao's invitation. Guo Jia politely declined Xun Yu's proposal on the grounds that he was young and had little experience and still needed to experience. He wanted to return to Yingchuan to fish and read books for a short time without caring about the world.
In order to help Hu Zhao and Zhong Yao rescue Cai Yong, the two went to Chang'an, but Cai Yong died tragically in prison.
Later, Xun Yu arrived under Cao Cao's command and found that Xi Zhicai, who was known as one of the "Eight Scholars of Yingchuan", was also under Cao Cao's tent. The two, together with Cheng Yu and other advisers, gave advice and guidance to Cao Cao.
Under the old pine tree, Zuo Ci held a palm-leaf fan and opened her white clothes. Looking at the setting sun, she said to herself:
