Ding Zihui: Silver Needle with Warm Hands

Pingding Mountain is located north of Mount Lu and west of Xiangcheng, and borders northern Jingzhou in Yuzhou.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the heroes stood together and there were constant disputes. However, there were few wars in Yuzhou. The reason was that Tao Qian, Xuzhou and Liu Biao, Jingzhou, had no ambition to dominate and only wanted to defend their territory, which caused a vacuum area in Yuzhou and the northern part of Jingzhou several years after the rebellion against Dong.

It is because of this that this place has become a place for many people who escape from war.

Guo Jia drove a carriage along Yingyin, Yingyang and Xiangcheng lines south to Pingding Mountain, and followed the route guided by Hu Zhao to find Zhang Zhongjing who was practicing medicine on the mountain. Since Pingding Mountain is located in Yingchuan County and is not very far away, Guo Jia quickly arrived at his destination. After visiting and inquiring, he finally found where Zhang Zhongjing was.

Hearing that a wise man was recommended by Yuan Shu to be the prefect of Yuzhang, but because Zhu Hao, who was appointed by the court, succeeded him and his family in an early situation, he had no choice but to defect to his old friend Liu Biao. During his journey, he suddenly had a strange disease and was recuperating on Pingding Mountain. Fortunately, one of his nephews knelt at Zhang Zhongjing's doorstep for three days and three nights before he could ask Zhang Zhongjing to treat him. However, this disease had to be recuperated for a long time and could not be exhausted from a long distance. So Zhang Zhongjing temporarily stayed at his home for medical treatment.

The carriage was circling and moving up the curved mountain road path. Because there were many stones and uneven potholes on the mountain road, the carriage's wheels were constantly bumping. Although Guo Jia had tried his best to control it, Sima Yi still caused the toxins in the wound to spread due to the bumps. When he only arrived halfway through the mountain road, black blood had already spilled out of the corner of Sima Yi's mouth.

Seeing this, Guo Jia was anxious and abandoned the carriage and luggage on it, and carried Sima Yi on foot up the mountain.

The mountain road was rugged and difficult to walk. Guo Jia almost tripped several times, but he still rushed to the destination before dark. He stood at the slope and looked up at the fence made of straw and bamboo. There were three or four houses with smoke rising from the fields under the house. Every dozens of steps away, there were water outlets to irrigate the fields. These outlets were all from a canal from a mountain stream three or four kilometers away from the house. This strange method avoided the trouble of using manpower to carry water and irrigate from a long distance.

After crossing a stone bridge on the canal, I walked up the uphill soil steps for dozens of steps, and then I reached the gate of the fence courtyard.

Guo Jia finally breathed a sigh of relief and reached out and knocked on the wooden door and others to answer the door.

After three sounds, the wooden door creaked and opened the gap. There was no one on the front of Guo Jia. When he looked down the crack, he found a boy of the same age as Sima Yi on his back was looking up and looking at him:

"Who are you?"

Guo Jiabin bent down to the boy politely and said:

"I am here to come to seek medical treatment by Mr. Hu Zhao. I wonder if Mr. Zhang Zhongjing is at home now?"

The young man looked up and down with bright eyes, but he was particularly concerned about the boy on Guo Jia's back who didn't move. After a brief thought, he decided that they were not bad people, so he reached out and opened half of the door and asked them to enter:

"Mr. Zhongjing went to the back mountain to collect herbs. It may take some time to come back. Come in first and wait."

After leading Guo Jia into the inner hall, Guo Jia quickly found a bed and placed Sima Yi flat on it. At this time, a deep cough sound came from outside the door. An elder with slightly white hair and beard entered the house with a cane. Seeing that there was a strange person there, he asked the boy:

"What are these two?"

"Uncle, they came to seek medical treatment from Yangdi, and said that it was recommended by Mr. Zhongjing's old friend."

After hearing the boy's words, the elder nodded and stopped asking any more questions about what he had changed and turned into the bedroom.

However, Guo Jia was quite concerned about the boy's words. He looked at the boy's heroic and fairy-like face and asked:

"I didn't say I was from Yangdi, how did you know?"

The young man replied calmly: "When I was talking to you, I heard the Yangdi accent from your accent. In addition, Mr. Hu once mentioned that his friend Mr. Hu Zhao was from Yangdi, so I could judge that you were really recommended by Mr. Hu Zhao."

At this time, Guo Jia inadvertently discovered that there was a large stone hanging above the eaves of the other door that the boy had just opened. If he forced the door in, he would definitely be hit by the stone.

Moreover, when the young man took him into the inner hall, he told him to step on the raised part of the ground, which also made him quite interested.

In his opinion, this young man is very difficult.

Guo Jia waited for a long time but did not see Zhang Zhongjing return. Sima Yi's face was dim and black, and there was obvious signs of spreading toxins. The imperial physician's needle before seemed to have reached its limit. When the situation was very dangerous, the boy observed Sima Yi's condition, then turned over his body and took off his coat to see his wounds, stood up and took out a silver needle from the desk, took out several needles to apply needles on Sima Yi's head and chest. Not long after, Sima Yi's face seemed to have a little effect.

After applying the needle, he put away the remaining silver needle and wrapped it again, stood up, Guo Jia asked:

"I didn't expect that my little brother's medical skills are so amazing, it's really impressive."

The boy shook his head with a smile: "I just learned some fur when I saw Mr. Zhongjing treat his uncle."

At this time, Guo Jia thought of the young man who knelt in front of the door for three days and three nights in order to seek treatment for his uncle Zhang Zhongjing. From this point of view, this person might be this person. Just as he was thinking, the wooden door was pushed open, and the middle-aged man who returned with a bamboo basket with herbs on his back and walked in with a cane. He walked into the inner hall according to the route guided by the boy, and only then did he see Guo Jia and Sima Yi.

"This is Mr. Zhang Ji and Zhang Zhongjing." The young man stood up and introduced.

When he saw Zhang Zhongjing return, Guo Jia hurriedly stood up and bowed: "I have been born in Guo Jia late, and I have met Mr. Zhongjing."

Zhang Zhongjing didn't know the handsome man in front of him at all. He put down his cane and patted the dust on his body and asked:

"What's the matter with me, sir?"

Guo Jia hurriedly pulled out the letter of introduction written by Hu Zhao from his arms and handed it to Zhang Zhongjing. Zhang Zhongjing spread out the white silk with the contents. After reading it, he looked at Sima Yi who was lying not far away. He didn't care about his tired body for half a day and quickly walked to Sima Yi's side to observe his condition. After a brief diagnosis, he twisted his beard and said, "He was poisoned for more than ten days. Someone had previously applied acupuncture seals and acupoints to delay the spread of the toxins. But in my opinion, the effect of applying acupuncture should have been almost gone. I didn't expect his vitality to be so strong."

"Sir, please treat it as soon as possible, and I am grateful."

Zhang Zhongjing waved his hand and said, "Since I have come to my door and Hu Zhao's recommendation, I will do my best."

After saying that, he said to the young man beside him: "Go and get my medicine box and the herbs I just picked."

The treatment continued until dark, and no one could guarantee the result...
