Geng Xu Hui: Making trouble and guilt, refusing to award rewards

These days, Li Jue, Guo Si and others have banquets all day to celebrate their victory. Perhaps they didn't expect it to be so smooth before. Carnival became their only way to vent. The feeling of power in control made them completely intoxicated.

However, they completely ignored Chang'an City, which had been in chaos. Jia Xu wanted to use Li Jue to conquer the world and completely quell the chaotic times, but he did not expect that such a situation would be caused.

In order to thank Jia Xu for his complete plans and to further win him over, Li Jue wanted to report to the emperor to sign him as the Huayin Hou and have many rewards from beauties of gold and silver. Jia Xu refused to accept it: "This is a plan to help you save your life, and there is nothing to praise."

Seeing that he insisted on not accepting it, Li Jue thought Jia Xu was a very noble person, so he had to give up.

The real reason was that when he walked on the street, he saw a messy and depressed scene everywhere, and he began to regret it secretly.

Suddenly, the shouts of young women and the laughter of soldiers came from the front.

Jia Xu followed the sound and found a sturdy centurion in a looted shop where he was a young and beautiful woman pressing on the table. The other soldiers were laughing and shaking the woman's clothes. The woman burst into tears and shouted in despair, but no one responded to her.

Jia Xu was very angry when he saw it. Just as he was about to go and stop him, a voice suddenly stopped him:

"Even if you save her, can you still save the entire Chang'an City?"

The person behind him was the one who had talked to him in Jia Xu's tent before. Although Jia Xu did not turn his head to look at him, he did not like this person's arrival very much from his expression. He said with a gloomy face:

"The result is what you want, because you are the only one who wants to avenge Dong Zhuo."

The man lowered his head and chuckled: "Maybe, these people were very happy when Dong Zhuo died, as if the peaceful and prosperous times had come. Now their terrified expressions were so different from the original ones, which made people laugh. It seems that the facts proved that they were just a group of stupid people."

After saying that, he focused his sharp eyes on Jia Xu's back: "Actually, you think so in your heart. The Han Dynasty has long been like a dangerous egg, just like the slump of the building, no one can save it anymore."

Jia Xu's tightly clenched fists finally reached its limit, but his expression was still very calm. He turned around and looked at the person behind him and replied calmly:

"Li Meng, don't treat me as a fool. Why haven't you raised your troops? When Li Jue and Zhang Xiu completed the encirclement in the east, west and south directions, you sent troops to march towards the north gate. You just wanted to capture the emperor when he escaped from the north gate?"

Li Meng's expression was a little stiff, and he stood there and smiled dryly.

"But what you didn't expect was that Wang Yun, who was indecisive, hindered your plan. The emperor did not escape, and now it fell into the hands of the powerful Li Jue, so that you would not have the chance to start again."

Unexpectedly, Jia Xu could see his plan clearly, Li Meng couldn't help but feel that he was a little scary:

"Just you just said 'you', how much do you know about us?"

Jia Xu sneered: "I also know that you want to use it to win me over to join you so that you can get a job with your number one person, right?"

From Jia Xu's various words, Li Meng could more or less see that he had no intention of joining, so he began to threaten:

"The opera master also rejected us. I thought you would be more visionary than him, and it seemed that he was short-sighted."

"Do you really think the drama master's death was because he refused to win over your 'Your Highness'? In the end, you are just a fool who was exploited by them..."

Jia Xu just smiled coldly at Li Meng's insult, and then stepped into the store with one foot.

When the soldiers saw that he knew that Jia Xu was a counselor who Li Jue attached great importance to, they naturally did not dare to neglect them. They all let go of the almost collapsed woman saluted: "I have met Mr. Wenhe..."

Looking at the woman who was covered in tears and was dressed in disheveled clothes on the mat, Jia Xu said one word contemptuously:

"roll!"

The centurion thought Jia Xu wanted to enjoy it himself, so he nodded and said:

"Since Mr. Military Advisor likes it, please enjoy it slowly. I'll wait outside the door to give you a wind."

Jia Xu did not look up at them, and pointed his finger behind him outside the door: "How far is it?..."

The centurion, who had not yet succeeded, felt very unlucky and hurriedly tidied up his clothes and pants like a dog, leading the soldiers out of the door. When he arrived at the door, he did not forget to close the door. They were full of slaves who bullied the good and feared the evil.

After they left, Jia Xu walked to the woman and slowly squatted down, took off his outer shirt. The woman thought Jia Xu was going to have bad intentions towards her, so she hurriedly covered her messy clothes on her chest and slowly stepped back.

However, what Jia Xu did next was to put his shirt on the woman, then stood up and patted the dust on his knees, turned around and walked towards the door.

Before the woman could react, he had already opened the door:

"I don't have the right to ask you to believe that I am a good person. If you want to survive, please follow me. I'll arrange for you to leave the city."

The woman had no other choice. She forced her weak body and limped to follow Jia Xu out the door.

Li Meng sat in the tilted horse-less carriage, reached out and turned the wheel, watching Jia Xu and the woman walk past him and get farther and farther away from him.

Slowly, his eyes were full of murderous aura. His right thumb holding the sword slowly pushed the hilt upward, revealing the sharp sword blade...

At this moment, a hand that suddenly appeared beside Li Meng pressed down the hilt of his sword. Li Meng was shocked at first, but when he looked up and saw the man's appearance, he calmed down instantly:

"It's better to get rid of him. I think he already knows about us. It's risky to keep him?"

The person holding down his sword hilt was the man with a long sword beside the man with a hat. He said to Li Meng:

"It is not the time to kill him. Your Highness said that if Jia Xu is killed now, then Li Jue's subordinates will not have any counselors on the surface. He will soon be slapped by the surrounding princes and will be calmed down."

Li Meng was still unwilling to accept this: "Just let him go like that? You can't be a lover of old love..."

The long sword man's tone had some warning meaning:

"Now we have more important things to do, don't make too many troubles."

"What's more important?"

The long sword man turned to Li Meng: "Your mission has been completed. Don't make any changes during the next period of time. Keep the status quo. Your Highness and I will prepare for a move."

Li Meng stood up: "What kind of action is it? Even His Highness has to participate in it in person?"

The man holding the sword turned his face slightly, and his eyes showed an extremely deep murderous aura:

"Get rid of Xi Zhicai..."
