Chapter 6 Nanzhu Cultural Village

Nanzhu Cultural Village is located in the west urban area of Quhang.

It is a bit remote from the city center of Quhang City. I heard it is a tourist attraction.

Lin Yuan was sitting on the bus with a lot of people and nowhere to sit. He barely found a place to stand by the window. Through the window, he could see the buildings flashing through the window.

It is now the peak hours of work, and people come and go on the crosswalk.

In contrast, the pace of life in Qianhu is much slower.

Following the bus, I moved forward with two cars in the middle, and finally arrived at the stop sign of Nanzhu Culture Village.

The car stopped, Lin Yuan got out and looked around.

Surrounded by rows of street trees, opposite the bus stop is a villager's house renovated, and a row of commercial houses can be seen a little further away.

"My mother, the uncle I asked should live there."

Lin Yuan glanced at the clean and bright community property, walked forward along the pedestrian crossing, took out his cell phone, and looked at the time.

It was already past ten o'clock in the morning, and it was almost eleven o'clock. I came here from Quhang Station and wasted a lot of time when I transferred to the vehicle.

"At this point, my mother should be cleaning up the stall. She will have to take a rest later and eat something to make up for her sleep."

Lin Yuan walked around and looked around. When it was eleven o'clock, he probably thought that his mother had packed her things and then called.

The phone rang twice and was picked up.

"Hey, Xiaoyuan, have you arrived?"

On the other end of the phone, Yang Jing's voice was a little tired: "Have you encountered anything on the road? Didn't you meet a thief?"

"I've arrived. The road is very safe. I didn't encounter any thief."

Lin Yuan responded honestly without any impatient: "By the way, mom, the cold medicine I bought for you yesterday was placed on the bedside table. You can take a piece before going home to take a nap later, so be careful of your health."

"You kid, your mother, I am not a child anymore, so you still need to worry about it?"

Yang Jing's tone was soft and whispering. She could hear it, and there was some relief and smile in her words: "When you see your Grandpa Zhou and Grandma Liu later, remember to say hello, don't be careless and don't say anything."

"They are all my teachers. They were very nice to your mother back then. This time when you went to Quhang, it was also the job that Uncle Zhou arranged for you. You must work hard and do it well."

Yang Jing on the other end of the phone said a lot, and Lin Yuan listened quietly on this end.

My son is worried about traveling thousands of miles away.

Lin Yuan understands this principle.

In the past, when I was in junior high school, Lin Yuan was ignorant and felt inferior because of his single-parent family. He also couldn't raise his head in front of his classmates because Yang Jing was a breakfast seller.

Compared with many of the classmates in the class who are both civil servants and public institutions, Yang Jing was once an existence that Lin Yuan did not want to mention.

Once, the teacher asked parents to hold a parent-teacher meeting. When Yang Jing was rushing to school on the very worn bicycle, she was blocked by Lin Yuan on the road and insisted that she park the worn and shabby bicycle on the side of the road and then walk to school so that her classmates would not be laughed at.

Later, the worn-out bicycle parked on the roadside was stolen and could not be found again.

When Lin Yuan grew up a little longer, he always felt guilt and uneasy when he thought of his actions at that time.

"I know, I must work hard. Mom, when I can make money, you can buy that breakfast stall. I will support you, don't be so tired."

"Okay, then mom will wait until you can earn money to support your mother, so you won't make breakfast."

Yang Jing smiled and said, then asked Lin Yuan a few more words before hanging up the phone.

I put away my cell phone, walked forward for a while, took a turn, and arrived at the gate of the community.

Chuchun Accord Community.

Two security guards in the security room were chatting inside.

"Hello, please open the door."

Lin Yuan knocked on the glass window of the security room.

The access control in the community is closed and the door cannot be opened without an access control card.

A security guard poked his head out and looked at Lin Yuan: "Who are you looking for?"

"Grandpa Zhou from Room 306, Building 4."

"Grandpa Zhou?"

Listening to Lin Yuan's words, the security guard was happy: "I don't know who Grandpa Zhou you are looking for is. Do you know what his full name is?"

"Or call him and ask him to call our guard room so I can open the door for you."

The security guard spoke simply and did not mean to look down on Lin Yuan. This is also his duty.

Lin Yuan had no choice but to dial a number. Grandpa Zhou, who answered the phone, heard Lin Yuan's words and wanted to come down to answer. Before Lin Yuan could refuse, he hung up the phone.

After waiting for a while, Lin Yuan saw the old man wearing a white shirt and wearing a pair of sandals walking over from the community.

From a long distance, the old man started shouting.

"Here! Xiaoyuan, here!"

He shouted and approached, then brushed the access control and helped open the door: "I haven't seen you for a long time, you've grown taller."

"Your mom, are you still making breakfast?"

Mr. Zhou walked in front, and Lin Yuan followed him.

In the early years, Mr. Zhou was the principal of a primary school in Qianhu. He helped Yang Jing a lot of things, but later he retired and moved to Quhang.

"Yeah, I'm still doing it now."

"Oh, your mother is just a hardworking life. When she was studying, she had good grades. She had a fever during the college entrance examination and performed abnormally, just one point away from college. I also said she would go to repeat the school, but your mother's family disagreed, alas."

Mr. Zhou shook his head while talking, with regret on his face: "If you read a book, your mother will not be able to make breakfast."

"You see, this is the benefit of studying. After studying and entering a good university, you can find good things to do. Otherwise, you can only do breakfast and sell breakfast. It's too tiring. Are you right?"

Mr. Zhou looked at Lin Yuan with a look of inquiry.

"This is the truth."

Seeing Lin Yuan nodding in response, Mr. Zhou was obviously satisfied and nodded: "That's the reason."

"Look, is this community very good?"

"The property management didn't let you in just now because the community was well managed. The property management has their own rules. They can't disturb residents randomly, nor can people without access cards enter and exit at will. So you don't have anything unhappy in your heart. This is their responsibility."

While talking, Mr. Zhou led Lin Yuan forward: "It's here. You have to swipe your card to go upstairs from here, otherwise the door below the building will not be able to open, and the elevator inside will not be able to sit."

Lin Yuan waited for Mr. Zhou to open the first floor security door and walked in with him.

After entering the elevator, I went to the third floor, the elevator door opened, and I arrived in front of the door of Room 306.

"Come in, come in, take off your shoes and put them on the shoe rack at the door."
