31 Hire a tour guide

The meeting party, AC Company, did not arrange any meeting content on the first day because most of the customers participating in the meeting were from countries outside the United States.

Set aside a day for everyone to get off the jet lag or have free time.

After Zhang Wei got up that day, he did not go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, but hurriedly ran out of the hotel.

He had a dream last night, in which many people could not contact him, including Shirley, Lao Hu, and even Guo Qianqian...

So when he woke up early in the morning, he felt as if the whole world was looking for him. How could he be in the mood to have breakfast? He had to get his phone card immediately and restore contact with the "outside world". He couldn't stand the feeling of being disconnected anymore.

After leaving the hotel, Zhang Wei directly hailed a taxi and went to Chinatown.

Slightly larger cities in the United States have Chinatowns.

The reason why Zhang Wei chose to go there is simple. The most indispensable thing in Chinatown is the Chinese. They are all descendants of the Yan and Huang descendants, and it is easy for everyone to communicate.

As for the expensive taxi fare, Zhang Wei doesn't care.

Poor people are rich, so if they skip two meals, they can save money back.

What's more, taking a taxi still requires a receipt, and the receipt can be reimbursed, hehe.

Because Zhang Wei didn't know where to buy mobile phone cards in Chinatown, he couldn't communicate with the taxi driver even with the few words of English he knew. When he saw the gatehouse with "Chinatown" written on it, he shouted "STOP!"

The driver stopped the car.

Chinatown in Las Vegas may not look big, but the streets are very clean, which also shows that the quality of Chinese people is not as bad as some people say.

As soon as you walk into the gatehouse, you will see the square, the center of Chinatown. Rather than a square, it is more accurate to say it is a parking lot. Both sides of the road are almost full of cars.

Walking along the main road, Zhang Wei saw a shining golden statue from a distance. When he got closer and looked closer, he found that it was actually the Tang monk and his disciples who went to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures in "Journey to the West".

Zhang Wei couldn't help but find it a little funny that the four masters and disciples who traveled to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures did not stay at the Leiyin Temple in the West. Instead, they traveled across the ocean and came to the "World Entertainment Capital" in the Western Hemisphere.

Could it be that Sun Wukong's exertion caused the somersault cloud to overturn?

Zhang Wei really wanted to ask the four masters and disciples whether they had obtained the real "sutra" or the real "gold" in Las Vegas, which is known as "one side of heaven and one side of hell".

Zhang Wei looked at the shining golden statue for two minutes, then lost interest and continued walking around the statue towards the interior of Chinatown.

Although Chinatown Battlefield looks small, there are still many shops inside.

Most of the shops are restaurants with Chinese signs, but there are also a lot of Japanese and Korean signs. It is more like an Asian city than a Chinatown.

However, the architectural style is mostly Chinese style.

Zhang Wei was lucky. Not long after he left, he met a Chinese girl in her early twenties.

This girl looks gentle and quiet, but may be a little bloated due to the eating habits of imperialist countries.

"Hello, sir, is this your first time in Las Vegas?"

"Hey, how did you tell that this was my first time here?" Zhang Wei stopped and looked at the girl strangely.

"Because it's not lunch time, and only Chinese people who come to Las Vegas for the first time will be interested in the "Searching for Buddhist Scriptures from the West" statue." The girl pointed at the statue and explained to Zhang Wei with a smile.

"Sir, since this is your first time here, I think you need a tour guide who is familiar with the local area?"

Zhang Wei originally had no intention of hiring a tour guide, but after talking to the girl for a while, Zhang Wei changed his mind.

The reasons are also very simple. One is that it is cheap, and the other is that he really needs a translator.

And it only costs him a hundred dollars, which is of course the price for one day.

This girl's English name is quite convoluted, and it is impossible for Zhang Wei, who is illiterate in English, to remember it. However, this girl's Chinese name is easy to remember, it is Jingjing.

After Zhang Wei had Jingjing as his tour guide, many things became much easier.

After spending ten minutes, Jingjing took Zhang Wei and bought a mobile phone card in a Chinese store for 20 US dollars.

According to Jingjing, this card is half cheaper than the cards in the local operator's business hall, and it is even cheaper than domestic cards for making domestic calls.

Zhang Wei just listened, but didn't take his words completely seriously. In his opinion, how could it be cheaper than in China? After all, consumption here costs US dollars.

After getting the mobile phone card, I quietly asked Zhang Wei if he wanted to visit Chinatown first, but Zhang Wei politely refused.

Zhang Wei just arrived in Las Vegas yesterday from the "base area" of the "Tang people", and he has no interest in visiting Chinatown.

But since he paid a hundred US dollars for a tour guide, Zhang Wei had no reason not to make full use of it.

Soon he remembered the instructions of the beautiful lady at the front desk of the company, and decided to let Jingjing take him with him to scan the landmark buildings in Las Vegas and "check in" for the beautiful lady at the front desk.

Zhang Wei didn't pay much attention to the scenery along the way last night. He didn't know what to do if he didn't go shopping today. He was really surprised when he walked around.

The Las Vegas Strip is only a short ten kilometers from north to south. Checking in all the way, Zhang Wei was surprised to find that he actually saw many condensed versions of the world's landscapes.

The Eiffel Tower in France, the Statue of Liberty in the United States, the Sphinx in Egypt, the Trevi Fountain in Rome...

This is simply a dreamy "cottage city" like a mirage.

Especially the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip, in addition to its palace-like buildings and beautiful gardens, it also has a fountain dance carefully choreographed by designers that combines classical, pop, opera and other styles of music.

Just watching this fountain dance, Zhang Wei felt that he could watch it for a whole day without getting bored.

Throughout the day, Zhang Wei just walked around the Las Vegas Strip. Although he was very tired, he still couldn't bear to go back to the hotel to rest.

As night falls, all the buildings on both sides of Las Vegas are decorated and illuminated with colorful and charming neon lights. It is another beautiful scene, which makes Zhang Wei feel that this is simply a city made of endless wealth.

, repeatedly challenging the bottom line of his psychological endurance.

If there was a chance, he really wanted to bring Shirley to see with his own eyes this city that couldn't be more entrenched.

After a whole day of shopping, although Zhang Wei could still hold on, as a tour guide, Jingjing's mouth was dry and her legs were weak, and she could no longer hold on.

She never thought that she would walk the entire Las Vegas Strip with this fat man.

What's more, I didn't expect that this stingy fat man would just take pictures everywhere with his broken mobile phone, and didn't even care about whether she, a girl, could afford it.

Even the burger for lunch was paid for by herself.

At this time, she just wanted to go back and rest early. It was really hard to earn the one hundred dollars.

Just when Jingjing was about to ask to leave work, Zhang Wei ordered twenty dollars and handed it to her.

"Well, Jingjing, you have worked hard today, and this is your tip."

"Thanks!"
