Page twenty-two [deja vu]

Bilgewater's afternoon.

Chen Senran and the little fishman Fitz walked on the bustling streets. The noisy voices and the sound of waves surged from all directions. The air full of the fragrance of rum and the rare warm sun in December made Chen Senran feel the strong reality and...

strangeness.

Throughout the morning, the little fishman Feiz took Chen Senran to walk constantly, walking in all the places that the little fishman had been to and found interesting-

Fish shops, fountains in the center of mermaid statues, candy houses, taverns with rum fragrance, and markets where merchant ships gather.

But no surprise, no one welcomed them.

Or, welcome the little fishman.

No one likes it.

Everyone who saw them was pointing at the little fishman and saying some unpleasant words of racism.

And the most overwhelming one rushed out of his shop, holding a weapon like a sailor's knife in his hand, and yelled at the little fishman: "You damn fish-headed monster, if you let me see you again, I must cut off your ugly fish head and stew it on soup, I swear."

If Chen Senran hadn't blocked that crazy guy in time, maybe that guy would have not seen the sun tomorrow.

Chen Senran guessed that guy was probably going to pay 500 gold coins to buy the guy who was the little fisherman's head.

Although the little fishman's expression could not be seen, Chen Senran could easily feel the body beside him that had not spoken again when he had left half a magic...

It's sad.

Very sad.

It loves the city so much, but the city does not stay for it for even a moment.

"Are you hungry?" So Chen Senran had no choice but to say.

He can only say that.

He doesn't remember whether he had the habit of comforting people in the past, but he doesn't have it now.

"Hungry..." The little fishman seemed to be stunned for a moment. Its reflex arc, which was habitually slowing down by half a beat, reacted for a long time before answering, "There is...a little."

There was a little guilt and embarrassment in my tone, probably because I felt that I had not done a good job as a guide. I was still talking loudly at the beginning.

What a good kid.

"Let's go and have a meal." Chen Senran had already smelled the strong aroma of wine and the smell of food, on the left hand side.

A restaurant located next to the coast, very romantic.

"But..." The little fish man hesitated a little.

"I have money." Chen Senran instantly understood the little fishman's concerns. This poor little guy probably hadn't had a good meal in this city.

He had twenty gold coins on his body, which was the collective gift of pleasure that Planck had distributed before he got off the ship. It was enough for him to drink the best wine and play the best woman in this city.

"Then I..." The little fishman was still a little hesitant.

"Just treat me next time." Chen Senran knew very well a child's self-esteem and vanity.

In particular, children like Little Fishman who are lonely and longing for others to be recognized by others.

"Well, I've agreed that I will treat you next time to eat the best Sea King lobster that is said to be the best." The little fishman suddenly became happy when he heard this. Perhaps he felt recognized. He happily stuck the trident on the ground and jumped up to cheer. "The best Sea King lobster~"

When I walked to the restaurant door and pushed open the probably wooden door that squeaked a lot in the past, a stronger aroma of wine and fresh aroma of fish and shrimp rolled out.

The restaurant is very lively, and Chen Senran could feel that his spiritual world is full of the energy of human existence.

But it may be because of the sea, or the whole restaurant has a delicate style. Everyone lowered their voices and spoke without any noise, as if they were afraid that too loud would destroy some quiet style.

Perhaps the room was closed by blinds. A bright magic lamp was lit in a dark environment.

Chen Senran thought so and took the little fishman to an empty seat near the corner.

His movements were natural and smooth, and there was no sign of blindness at all.

He sat down in the safest and least noticed seat he had subconsciously identified, picked up the napkin on the table and spread it out, placed it in front of him, put his hands down, looked up, and smiled.

Everything is gracefully pleasing to the eye, like a real nobleman who understands life.

"Hello, sir, what do you need to eat?" The waiter was probably affected by his series of actions. He slowed down his tone and asked in a tone of respect as much as possible.

"Oh. Can you give me a Sullivan meal?" Chen Senran crossed his hands without any cramps and said a dish on the table. During the days when he lived on the Netherworld, although he was not very friendly with the pirates, he still learned about some things, just like the most famous and popular ones in Bilgewater. "As for the kid opposite me, well, you give it a tuna salad first, remember, it's the freshest. Look, how about it?"

"Oh... OK." The little fishman responded a little crampedly, but perhaps affected by Chen Senran's calmness, it immediately added, "You need the freshest one."

"Okay, wait a moment." The waiter responded.

"Are you nervous?" Chen Senran supported his hands and felt the surroundings.

Very good, Planck finally didn't send anyone to monitor him this time.

"Well, there is one thing, I'm not used to sitting in human chairs." The little fishman said and twisted his body, making a strange friction with the chair that was probably made of oak.

The dishes were delivered soon.

Just as the waiter lifted the lid to prepare to introduce the dishes, a slightly thick sound suddenly sounded in the originally quiet and elegant restaurant.

"You don't know how lucky I was to escape from that damn ghost place." The voice sounded a little drunk, from a man, probably because he was drunk.

"All right, Jim, you kid, you were so scared that he encountered a little storm a few days ago. Do you always yell at that battle of burning the city?" Another guy who was probably his companion also shouted, with the same drunkenness, "Don't think I don't know, that's a tyrant of flames. You can burn a city with a wave of your hand. The poets all say that he is a devil from another world, you?" At the end of his words, he sneered fiercely.

"The bard knows nothing. I escaped from Noxus after being burned halfway to death, and decided not to do it anymore." Jim, who was accused of bragging, immediately retorted, "If you don't believe me, I still have any injuries on my body. If you don't believe me, just look."

"Wow—" The whole restaurant suddenly caused a sensation, probably because the one named Jim really took off her clothes.

"It's really... it's really." Another guy said in a stuttering manner, as if he was scared.

"What is the Battle of Burning City?" Chen Senran didn't see the wound, nor did he hear of the flame tyrant, and immediately became a little interested.

"I...I don't know either." The little fish man stammered and couldn't tell what was going on.

But it is true that such a worldly little guy could know something similar to the storm of the mainland.

The biggest thing in his mind is that the candies at Bilgewater are delicious.

"Dear guest. The so-called Battle of Burning City was a war that took place more than half a year ago on the Frelljord Plateau in the north of the far continent of Valorland. It is said that in that war, a terrifying man destroyed 100,000 people with one hand." The waiter put the food and explained.

"I believe it, believe it, you guys?" Jim was smugly packing his clothes, "I'll tell you..."

In the next half a magical moment, Jim used alcohol to tell the war that had caused him a huge shadow.

Among them, there were two armies facing each other and masters duels. In the end, there was a flame tyrant who could smash the entire unbreakable fortress into powder with one hand.

Its excitement was completely beyond ordinary bards. Many people who were originally a little annoyed that Jim had ruined the good atmosphere finally listened with relish and even puffed up their applause.

"Then do you... know what the name of that Flame Tyrant is?" As the story is about to end, a crisp and tender voice sounded from an unknown corner of the restaurant.

Everyone was quiet for a moment, watching Jim wait for him to speak out the name of the terrifying, terrifying, and powerful demon.

Chen Senran was also waiting, and he took his last sip of delicious clam soup and waited for the result.

At the same time, I was inexplicably looking forward to hearing the tender voice again.

That voice is a bit... familiar?

"I...of course...I..." Jim got stuck there as if he was choking. Of course, he didn't say anything after a long time.

People realize that he might not really know and are a little disappointed.

"Do you know?" Jim made a last try.

"Of course I know, his name is..." The tender and crisp voice deliberately paused here.

Everyone's breathing was almost a slight contraction.

"His name is..."

Chen Senran didn't know why, but suddenly felt a heat all over his body.

"Forget it, Miss, go." At this time, someone interrupted the voice, an old man with a hoarse voice.

"No." Someone almost started shouting.

"Yes, say, everyone wants to hear it." Someone begged.

"I don't think she knows it, hum." Jim snorted coldly disdainfully.

But no matter what everyone says, the tender voice never sounded again.

Everyone searched everywhere in a daze, but there was no result.

Chen Senran also looked in one direction in a steady manner, looking at his empty eyes.

I felt lost in my heart.

"What's wrong with you?" No matter how slow the little fish man was, he still noticed Chen Senran's abnormality.

"Nothing, it's just..." Chen Senran smiled, "I feel familiar."

It seems familiar.

And just at the same time, outside the restaurant.

A gray, rustic carriage slowly drove away.

On the carriage, an ordinary-looking old man waved his whip vigorously and whispered: "Miss, don't think too much."

"Well, I know. Xiao Sensen would definitely be unhappy if he saw me like this." The tender and crisp sound came from the carriage, revealing strength in the tender and crispness. "My life was exchanged for Xiao Sensen with all his might. I will cherish it. Unless I find him, I will definitely live well."
