Chapter 21 The adults are really annoying(1/2)
Zhou Li invited Lao Hui and Xiaoyuan to visit his house. The two little demons hesitated for a long time and agreed.
Zhou Li specially prepared snacks for them.
Dried mushrooms, dried sweet potatoes, cherries, watermelons and dried fruits, as well as fried chicken legs and crispy fish he bought outside the community.
He just happened to have many questions to ask Lao Hui and Xiao Yuan. These two little demons always gave him a feeling of great experience. Huai Xu happened to push him today.
However, after going upstairs, Lao Hui and Xiaoyuan were always resistant and afraid of Huai Xu, and were still vigilant about him. This made Zhou Li unable to help but think, perhaps he was a little abrupt.
Seeing Xiaoyuan's eyes floating on the dried fruits, and Lao Hui sat upright on his desk to look at the whole room, Zhou Li took the lead in picking up a pecan fruit and peeling it a little harder.
"This is delicious." In fact, Zhu Shuang loves it very much.
"Is that true?" Xiaoyuan didn't move.
"Don't be polite, it's not poisonous. I want to ask you some questions." Zhou Li felt that it might be better to get straight to the point at this time, so after a brief thought, he chose a question that was not too deep: "You seem to be afraid of Huai Xu, not just because he looks as simple as a human, right?"
"Well?" Huai Xu also became interested. He did not expect that Zhou Li's first question was about him.
"He has a very terrifying aura." Lao Hui turned his head and stared at Huai Xu, his eyes slightly condensed, "So you must have just woken up and haven't recovered your memory."
"The little demon probably doesn't dare to touch him, right?" Xiaoyuan also spoke. After answering Zhou Li's question, he carefully tentatively picked up a dried fruit, held it with both hands, and gnawed it very quickly. "At the beginning, Lao Hui suspected that he was an evil monster who had just woken up or a blood monster who made a living by eating similar people, but soon we found that this was not the case. Then he may have participated in monster fights, such as chasing those evil monsters. Or he was bewitched and coerced by humans a long time ago. In short, he should have killed many monsters. Some things once branded, they cannot be erased."
"So that's how it is!" Zhou Li widened his eyes.
"So that's how it is!" Huai Xu was very cute with a bulging face, but there were no fans of 'her' present.
"The world of demons sounds so dangerous!" Zhou Li said.
"It's not like this." Lao Hui said, "We are far less cruel and warlike than you. We are far more obedient than you and cherish our own and similar lives more."
"But it may not be what I said." Xiaoyuan had already started eating the flesh, and the one shedding was a complete one, which was in sharp contrast to the pile of debris in Zhou Li's hand. "We are just two very weak little monsters. For details, we have to ask those adults with more knowledge."
"That's how..." Zhou Li nodded.
"That's it..." Huai Xu the same as above. His eyes were a little disappointed. There were not many big monsters nearby. The person in the south had been settled in the past few days, but he was probably even more confused than himself now, and he was probably not a good person to talk to when he looked like that.
"Then how long have you been awake?" Zhou Li asked.
"It's been a long time." Lao Hui looked at Xiao Yuanqi, raised one of his claws and licked it.
"That's how it is."
Zhou Li didn't ask too much, he decided to slowly draw it.
Xiaoyuan continued to gnaw on dried fruits, which were spinning quickly in his hands. His teeth were sharp and he made a beeping sound.
Peel very quickly.
Zhou Li didn't know what to say, Lao Hui also licked his paws while quietly looking at him, and a brief cold situation between the man and the demon was in a state of silence.
Finally, Zhou Li said: "We will continue to be neighbors in the future, right? We are in peace like before."
Lao Hui hesitated.
Xiaoyuan also realized that the conversation was about to end. He stopped the movement in his hand and looked at Zhou Li, then looked down at the dried fruit in his hand, and was reluctant to leave.
After a moment, Lao Hui said, "If we can stay in peace, of course we don't want to move away."
Xiaoyuan nodded vigorously.
"I'm a good person." Zhou Li said.
"I hope, but we have no value either."
"Then we... let's say goodbye first." After Xiaoyuan said that, she stuffed a whole dried fruit into her mouth, and bent down to gather the shells and debris on the table.
"I'll bring you some."
"That's thank you." Xiaoyuan was very backbone.
"What do you like to eat Lao Hui? Chicken legs? Do you like fried yellow croaker? It's sweet and spicy." Zhou Li looked at Lao Hui, who had never eaten anything.
"No, I appreciate your kindness."
"That's OK."
Zhou Li put a lot of dried fruits on his back and went downstairs.
When Zhou Li returned to the room again, Huai Xu seemed to have just woken up from the state of thinking about life. He turned his head slowly and looked at Zhou Li and said, "I think I seem to have done a lot of unusual things before."
“I think too.”
"Really?"
"Are there many big monsters?"
"Not much."
"Then you must have been an unknown person before." Zhou Li comforted him, "You will remember it in the future, and we may meet someone who woke up earlier and happened to know you before."
"What did I look like before?" Huai Xu narrowed his eyes, and looked at his expression as if he was a little uncomfortable.
"Go to sleep, think slowly."
"Too."
Huai Xu turned around, climbed up Zhou Li's upper bunk consciously, and lay down to look at the ceiling.
Today he is a girl, and Zhou Li is not used to it.
June 9th.
In the past, today I had to go to the school to estimate the scores, and the teacher would like to talk about filling out the application form and the relevant content of colleges and universities.
But now there is no need to estimate the score, and it is very convenient to check information online. Many classes at Yancheng Middle School have abandoned this tradition, but Zhao’s mother still retains it. Moreover, there is a graduation dinner in the evening, and teachers and classmates are going to attend. This is probably the last time the teachers and students of the class gathered together. They happened to be together in the afternoon, and they went straight to the hotel after the lecture.
So Zhou Liwu woke up and went out.
Today is Sunday, and the school is empty. As soon as Zhou Li entered the school gate, he saw Sanzheng's figure in the middle of the playground.
Some are lonely.
It happened that a figure jumped out of the teaching building next to it, holding a large stack of printed papers in his hand.
"Zhou Li!"
"Teacher Zhao!"
Mother Zhao smiled and said, "I met you just as I was about to come over."
"It's a coincidence."
The two got together.
Huai Xu ran to stop Sanzheng.
Mother Zhao asked kindly: "How is the exam?"
“Very satisfied.”
"Aren't you nervous?"
"No."
"It's good if you don't have one, you have a lot of hope! Will you estimate the score later? Or wait for the results?"
"Let's take a look later."
"Okay, I'll wait for good news!"
"good."
The two were silent for a while and had nothing to say.
After walking downstairs of the teaching building, Zhao's mother spoke and asked him carefully: "Do you still have hallucinations now... occasionally?"
"Occasionally." Zhou Li nodded very simply.
"and you……"
“I will learn to overcome it.”
"It's great. You've all grown up, it's great." Zhao's mother kept nodding, "Actually, many excellent people will have a silent time, and there's nothing wrong with this. The best work in life is yourself. I'm very happy to see you like this. When you go to college, you'll have a different environment. I hope you can have an unforgettable college time."
“It will definitely be.”
Most of the students have arrived, sitting in their own seats, clamoring.
Brother Nan lay in the last row by the window, except for the dull hair above his head, he was full of it.
Ma Zhao received a series of greetings.
Seeing Zhou Li approaching, Brother Nan only raised his eyelids and glanced at him, muttering in a muffled voice: "I'll ask you to go all night, why don't you reply to me..."
"The cell phone is out of power."
"Just lie to others."
"I haven't lie to you. I haven't heard your voice yet. If you don't believe me, you can see it. There are little red dots."
"You didn't listen this morning?"
"I didn't listen."
To be continued...
