Chapter 1 Competition Venue

size

The game venue must be rectangular, and the length of the sideline must be longer than the length of the goal line.

Length: minimum 90 meters (100 yards)

Maximum 120 meters (130 yards)

Width: 45 meters shortest (50 yards)

Up to 90 meters (100 yards)

International competitions

Length: Minimum 100 meters (110 yards)

Maximum length of 110 meters (120 yards)

Width: Shortest * m (70 yards)

Up to 75 meters (80 yards)

Site marking

The competition venue is marked with lines, and these lines should be included in each area as the boundary lines of each area.

Two longer boundary lines are called edge lines, and two shorter lines are called goal lines.

All lines should not exceed 12 cm (5 inches).

The game field is divided into two halves by the center line.

Make a center mark at the midpoint of the center line of the site, and draw a circle with a radius of 9.15 meters (10 yards) from the center mark.

Goal area

The goal area is at both ends of the field, and the regulations are as follows:

From 5.5 meters (6 yards) from the inside of each goal post, draw two lines perpendicular to the goal line. These lines extend 5.5 meters (6 yards) into the game field and connect to a line parallel to the goal line. The area consisting of these lines and goal line is the goal area.

Free throw area

The free throw area is at both ends of the field, and the regulations are as follows:

From 16.5 meters (18 yards) from the inside of each goal post, draw two lines perpendicular to the goal line. These lines extend 16.5 meters (18 yards) in the game field and connect to a line parallel to the goal line. The area consisting of these lines and goal line is the penalty area.

A free throw point is set at 11 meters (12 yards) equally distanced from the midpoint between the goal posts in each free throw area. Outside the free throw area, draw an arc at the radius of 9.15 meters (10 yards) from each free throw point.

flagpole

On each corner of the site, a flat-top flagpole with a height of no less than 1.5 meters (5 feet) is erected, and a small flag is tied on it.

Flag poles can also be placed at both ends of the center line, at no less than 1 meter (1 yard) outside the edge line.

Corner ball arc

In the competition field, draw a quarter circle with a radius of 1 meter (1 yard) from each corner flagpole.

goal

The goal must be placed in the center of each goal line.

They consist of two vertical pillars equidistant from the corner flagpole and a horizontal beam connecting its tops.

The distance between the two pillars is 7.32 meters (8 yards), and the distance from the lower edge of the beam to the ground is 2.44 meters (8 feet).

The two goal posts and beams have the same width and thickness not exceeding 12 cm (5 inches). The goal line and the width of the goal post and beams are the same. The goal net can be tied to the goal and the ground behind the goal and should be properly supported so as not to affect the goalkeeper.

The goal post and beam must be white.

Security

The goal must be firmly fixed to the ground, and the mobile goal can be used if it meets this requirement.

International Football Council Resolution

·Resolution 1

If the beam is displaced or broken, the game should be stopped until repaired and restored. If repair is not possible, the game will be stopped. The beam is not allowed to be replaced by ropes. If the beam can be repaired, the game should be restarted by falling ball at the location where the ball is located when the game is stopped.

·Resolution II

Goal posts and beams must be made of wood, metal or other approved materials. Their shapes can be square, rectangular, round or oval and shall not pose any harm to the players.

·Resolution III

In particular, there must be no advertisements on the goal net, the corner flagpole or the corner flag, nor any auxiliary equipment (such as cameras, microphones, etc.).

·Resolution IV

No form of advertisements is allowed within the ground technical area outside the competition venue and within 1 meter from the edge line.

In addition, advertisements are not allowed in the area between the goal line and the goal network.

·Resolution 5

As stated in Resolution III, during the game, replicas of representative logos or patterns of the International Football Federation, Intercontinental Federation, national associations, leagues, clubs or other groups, whether physical or graphic, are prohibited from appearing on the venues and venue equipment (including the ground within the goal net and the goal net).
