Chapter 124: Arrested Sirius
Three broom bars, by the window.
Sherlock and Shilk were sitting here, each of them placed a cup of warm black tea, and a plate of cookies in the middle of the table.
On the other side of the window, the rain was still clattering, and there was no intention of stopping.
Shilk sipped the black tea in his cup without saying anything, while Sherlock stared at the low rainwater on the eaves outside the window, dazed.
It was Shilk's meaning to not return to the castle. As Dumbledore's designated monitor, Sherlock naturally could not go back alone.
Anyway, he only has four classes a week, so he is very free now. He drinks afternoon tea in the tavern and looks at the rain scene.
The scene was silent and the atmosphere was a bit too dull.
Sherlock had to take the initiative to find topics.
"Where are your two companions? I remember one is Henry and the other is Harry."
Shilk's black tea specifically ordered the bottom of the cup to be filled with tea, so when she drank the last few sips, the tea was very bitter.
Even if she couldn't see her face, she could still tell from her frequent movements in a small mouthful that she was not very able to accept the taste, but in the end she drank all the black tea.
“They live in a hotel.”
Sherlock supported her chin and looked at Shilk opposite him and began to focus on the tea residue at the bottom of the cup. He knew that she was about to start divination.
He did not disturb him, but turned his eyes from the window to Shilk. This was the first time he had seen the fortune teller performing the entire process of divination.
Overall, it looks ordinary and nothing special.
I just keep staring at the tea residue, as if I could see the flowers from the fine tea leaves soaked in water.
However, Shilk's divination this time didn't look smooth. She maintained this action for half an hour without any reaction.
Sherlock slowly finished the cookies on the plate, and the third cup of black tea in the cup. After drinking this afternoon tea, he didn't have to eat his supper anymore.
Finally, as the rain gradually stopped and the sky became darker. As the evening approached, Shilk sighed slightly and stood up from the chair.
Sherlock also stood up and shrugged.
"It's actually pretty good today. Although I've got nothing, I just pretended to be coming out and relaxed."
When he got up, he accidentally touched a corner of the table, causing the dining table to shake, and the tea residue in the cup also shifted.
Shilk, who had just stood up, suddenly froze. She stared at the tea residue in the cup that had been changed, and it seemed like she saw a... a big black dog!
She suddenly looked up and said to Sherlock very seriously.
"If you say something like this, you can say more in the future!"
Then he turned around and walked towards the outside of the bar.
Sherlock saw that she must have discovered something in the end, and did not care about the somewhat rude words she said, and followed her and walked out of the three broom bars.
The rain had just stopped, and the humid air was still a little cold. Shilk's steps were fast, and his black leather boots stepped on the puddle. The splashed dirt hit the hem of her robe, and she didn't care at all.
Sherlock hurriedly followed her.
"What are you looking for?"
"Dog, a big black dog."
Sherlock was stunned. He remembered the big black dog he saw next to the trash can in the alley on the first day he came to Hogsmeade.
He grabbed Shilk's arm.
"I know where that dog is."
They came to a remote alley.
This place is like a place where residents deal with garbage in a small town. There are five iron trash cans inside, and in the shadow corner behind the trash can, a big black dog lying on it.
The dog was lying on the ground as if sleeping. Sherlock and Shilk did not get too close, but stood aside from afar and stared at it.
"So what's special about this dog?" Sherlock asked in confusion.
Shilk stared at the black big dog with her invisible eyes, and his voice became cold and calm again.
“It will lead us to some clues.”
Sherlock slowly pulled out his wand.
"Okay, maybe your divination is right, but before that we have to make sure it doesn't run away."
I ran around all night and checked whether Sirius could still be used in the secret passage. I am very tired now.
During the period when he was surrounded by Dementors and the Ministry of Magic, he had never slept with a stable sleep or had a hot meal.
It suddenly started to rain heavily again this afternoon, and Sirius could only lie under the wet eaves, trying his best to sleep and restore the energy consumed at night.
He had made sure that most of the secret passages were intact, so he planned to wait for the opportunity to sneak into Hogwarts, finally grab the damn betrayer and bite him to pieces!
In his dazed sleep, he seemed to have grabbed Peter and was torturing him in the cruelest way in the world, forcing him to ask why he had betrayed James.
However, at this moment, a trace of dangerous aura surged into his heart!
Sirius suddenly woke up, and when he opened his eyes, he realized that an iron cage was surrounding him slowly forming!
His heart was tense and subconsciously thought that his disguise had been discovered!
He suddenly jumped up with force from all four limbs, trying to jump out of the cage that had not yet been completely formed.
But Sherlock reacted faster than he did!
The Transformation Technique instantly accelerated the final step, completely blocking the moment Sirius jumped up!
In the iron cage, Sirius's eyes showed a look of despair.
If he is caught back this time, the Ministry of Magic has a high probability that he will not be imprisoned in Azkaban again, but will directly reward him with a dementor kiss.
Sirius is not afraid of death. He is afraid that no one will know Peter's true face after he dies. He will pretend to be a mouse and lurk around Harry Potter. Who knows what he will do in the future?
After successfully capturing the big black dog, Sherlock and Shilk walked to the cage and stared at Sirius with a desperate look on her face.
Sherlock touched his chin.
"This dog is indeed a little different. It actually shows such a human expression. It reminds me of Hagrid's teeth. Although his dog is a little timid, he is also very smart."
Sirius, who was completely in despair, suddenly felt a shiver when he heard Sherlock's words!
Only then did he notice that the clothes on Sherlock and Shilk were obviously not the Aurors in the Ministry of Magic.
And he still remembers what Sherlock looks like. In the days when he first came to Hogsmeade, he saw Auror's investigation of him with his own eyes, and he still remembers that he was a professor in Hogwarts!
So, I wasn't discovered?
Is there still a chance to continue escaping?
Sirius, who had figured it out, saw hope again!
He shook his tail in the cage, stuck out his tongue at Charlotte, and tried his best to show that he was an ordinary dog.
Sherlock looked at the black dog who was still very bitter and revenge just now, and after being caught by himself, she showed a life-and-death look. Now she showed such a flattering look and nodded and concluded.
"It's very smart. We need to be careful later. We'll be allowed to escape."
Sirius's face froze instantly, his tongue stretched halfway, and he was not retracted, nor did he continue to wag his tail.
Shilk ignored Sherlock teasing this very smart black dog there, but stared at Sirius with his invisible eyes.
"Did you notice any accidents in this town the night before yesterday?"
This witch, whose face was covered with a hood, made Sirius feel a different aura.
She clearly didn't look at herself with her eyes, but she seemed to have been seen from inside out, with no secrets at all.
At the same time, her questions reminded him of the scene he had just come to Hogsmeade, late at night when the owner of the stationery store was killed, and he accidentally saw it.
Sirius knew that Hogsmeade had recently had a murder, but he couldn't even take care of his own affairs, so how could he have the energy to care about other people's life and death?
But today it seems that he was caught because of this incident.
Sirius, who understood what they wanted to do, felt relieved, as long as he was not discovered, he could accept it.
He shook his tail even happier and signaled that he could take them to a place.
There is no way to communicate in words, so Sherlock and the others naturally don’t understand what he is expressing, but Sherlock also knows that he needs to let the black dog move freely first.
He stretched out his wand and knocked it at the iron cage, causing it to shrink quickly, and finally turned into countless ropes, tying Sirius tightly, and Sherlock held the end of the leash.
Such a cautious approach directly made Sirius, who was originally thinking that he could see the opportunity to escape, completely give up and honestly guide them in front.
Sherlock was holding the leash, Shilk followed him, Sirius led the way, and the two of them came to another bar in Hogsmeade.
Pighead Bar.
An old and dirty bar, the bartender's service attitude is also very poor, and it is far less attractive than Ms. Rosmerta, who is three broom bars.
But those who come to this bar are often people of all kinds of religions. You can meet some wizards who wander in the gray area all day long, and this place is often a place for them to conduct some illegal transactions.
Sirius did not take Sherlock and the others into the bar, but turned a corner to the backyard of the bar.
It looks messy here, and the broken wine barrels that have been left for many years are piled up all over the floor, and some used dining tables and benches are thrown everywhere in a mess.
Sirius had no movement after he came here. That night, he saw something strange disappeared here.
