Chapter 15 The Crescent Mark

"I want to take back what I said before." George murmured to Sherlock, who was holding his wand and holding a confrontation with Malfoy.

Fred had already reacted at this time, and he said with an excited look on his face.

"I'm going to take back what I said before, and I admit that I misread Professor Forrest, and Percy doesn't even deserve to carry his shoes!"

Percy, who was innocently injured again, could only turn his head angrily and stare at him again.

After witnessing Malfoy being beaten up, Harry and Ron were also excited.

"I think our dark magic defense class this semester should be very good!"

"Anyway, it must be more interesting than Quirreau's class!"

Mrs. Weasley hurriedly surrounded Sherlock and checked whether he had any injuries.

There were tears of relief in her eyes, and she couldn't even explain the excited words clearly.

"Sherlock, you shouldn't have rushed up to fight - your Uncle Weasley has set a bad example for you - but good boy, you seem to be different from before - I don't know what to say, maybe you have grown up, but that's a good thing."

Malfoy had no chance to fight against Sherlock at all, but Mr. Weasley's face was obviously full of color.

But even Mr. Weasley's focus was not on himself, but a complex smile of relief, emotion, and gladness patted Sherlock on the shoulder.

"I knew that sooner or later there would be Sherlock like this day, and I knew."

Although Sherlock had made a move that was completely inconsistent with his previous personality just now, his response is still very cold.

"People always grow, and it's not too late for me now, and that person just said rudely."

He is creating an image of cold outside and hot inside, so that the gap between Weasley and his wife will not be too big, and will not change his personality in the future, making them feel uncomfortable.

Then he walked to the bookshelf, took out several textbooks that he needed to use in the first grade this year, and put them at the cashier to pay the bill.

"Try to use the new textbook when new students enter school, just treat it as my meeting gift."

Sherlock took out the old textbooks from Ginny's cauldron and put them back into the pile of old books. Then, under Ginny's glittering little stars, he put the new textbooks into her cauldron.

"I hope you can work hard after entering the school. I have other things to do next. Let's talk about the things I'll do later. I'll leave first."

After saying that, he stepped away from Lihen Bookstore without waiting for Mrs. Weasley to stay.

The Weasleys and Harry looked at Sherlock's back and felt that the straight back was inexplicably handsome.

Mr. Weasley looked at the new book in Ginny's cauldron and said with an sigh.

"Sherlock has really become a little different from before. Sally will be very happy to see him like this."

Mrs. Weasley wiped her tears.

"Poor child, he has been living alone but still being so sensible, must have suffered a lot."

Harry and Ron were excitedly discussing how to laugh at his father for being beaten up after school starts.

George and Fred were imitating Sherlock's move just punching, saying that it was much more handsome than defeating the enemy with spells. They planned to create a magic boxing glove.

Ginny was happily looking through her new textbook. Hermione was attracted by a book about the history of Hogwarts school. Percy was looking for any book about how the predecessor should manage students.

It was not until Hagrid, the Forbidden Forest Guard in Hogwarts, passed by and greeted them that they left the bookstore together.

But no one noticed that among the pile of old books that Sherlock put back from Ginny's cauldron, there was a diary lying quietly in the pile of books, as if it had been staying here.

Until two days later, a stern old witch brought his timid grandson to Lihen Bookstore.

"These old notes usually record the wisdom of their predecessors. Some of them will help you a lot. You can choose a few books to buy them home, Neville."

"I, I know grandma."

The weak boy hurriedly took out several notebooks from the pile of old books and paid the clerk with his new textbook.

He did not find that there was actually no word in one of the most worn diary books.

......

Sherlock immediately planned to leave Diagon Alley after leaving the bookstore.

The burning sensation on his left arm was most obvious when it touched Malfoy, but then gradually faded and there was no response at all.

This incident revealed strangeness, so he now wants to go home quickly and study his left arm while looking through the original owner's diary to see if he has any key information he has missed.

I got the robe I had made before from Mrs. Mojin's robe store and took it back from the Magical Beast Pet Store that I had paid for before.

Sherlock ended the trip to Diagon Alley.

After he returned home, he went to the bathroom to remove all his body, and then looked at the full-body mirror and saw something unusual on his left arm.

It was a birthmark like a crescent moon, which was quite small overall, occupying more than one-third of the skin above his left arm.

Sherlock did not notice this thing before. It was not until he encountered Malfoy's mark that it became hot that he was sure that the mark seemed not as simple as a birthmark.

But he didn't know what this thing had on him, and he didn't even understand why it became hot after seeing Malfoy.

After spending a day, Sherlock carefully read the original owner's diary and found many experimental records of the original owner's magic experiment in the study.

However, no information about this mark was found, but some clues were found from a photo of the original owner's student days.

From a photo of a naked arm leaking, he confirmed that the mark had already been on the original owner's arm before he traveled here.

But why did the original owner seem to have no problems with his mark during the past twenty years of his life, but he started to get hot after he saw Malfoy?

Sherlock couldn't understand this problem, and he didn't have time to study it carefully.

Because time has quietly arrived at the end of August.

Tomorrow is September 1st, Hogwarts will start school.

Sherlock had to pack up and prepare to go to that magic school.

Because the last time Professor McGonagall visited, he left him a ticket.
