Chapter 388 Slughorn's Hideout

Harry's brain closure learning is underway in an orderly manner.

He is actually very talented in magic, otherwise he would not have learned the Guardian Spell in less than a semester.

So Sherlock's teaching was not difficult, and it did not add much pressure to him.

Time passed quickly and December was already in progress.

The conflict between Aurors and Death Eaters in the magic world has been fully revealed.

This made many older wizards feel like time has returned to the magic world in the 1970s, and the situation was so turbulent at that time.

Almost everyone is in danger of any wizard who is impure in blood. In three months, the number of Muggle wizards who have been persecuted by the Death Eaters has exceeded double digits.

This made the atmosphere in the magic world even more tense.

Sclinger did not sit idly by. He actively commanded the Auror to launch an action, and during this period there were several small-scale battles with the Death Eaters.

Both sides have their own victory or defeat, and the current situation is still anxious and unclear.

Compared with the outside world, Hogwarts's three months have been much calmer.

Even Harry felt that this year could be the calmest year since he entered Hogwarts.

Every day, he had to learn brain closure with Sherlock every day, except for normal classes, and he was no longer worried about anything else.

Hogwarts Castle, which has been in trouble in previous years, has tended to become the only pure land in the magic world this year.

In this situation, Sherlock received a new task from Dumbledore.

The first weekend of December ended today's after-school brain closure teaching, Sherlock said to Harry.

"I won't use it tomorrow. The course will be suspended for one day. I have something to do and I may not be able to come back in the evening."

Harry became very interested in what Sherlock was going to do, but he still refused to express this interest.

After Sherlock's long-term teaching, he at least knew the truth that "ask less about adults and talk more about his own questions."

After Harry left, Sherlock also stood up and walked out of his office, went to the principal's office to find Dumbledore.

"Badley Barberton Village, this is where I recently discovered him hiding, he has lived in a Muggle home, so that he can give him some insignificant sense of security."

As soon as he entered the door, Dumbledore spoke first.

Sherlock sat down opposite him, with a somewhat puzzled expression on his face.

"Why are you so sure that the Horcrux was taught to Voldemort by him?"

Whenever he asked a question, Dumbledore never stings with his own answers.

"You have had contact with Horas a few times, and he helped you not long ago, but you know nothing about him, Sherlock."

"He likes to communicate and contact with prestigious and talented people. During his tenure as Slytherin, he founded a 'slug club' in which those who can join either have a prominent family background or are extremely talented, and those mediocre students may not even remember their names."

"It is precisely because of this that Tom Riddle, who was extremely talented in magic, handsome in appearance and leader, was almost the perfect student in his mind, and he did not hide his love for Riddle at all."

"The diary was made in Riddle's school days. At that time, I didn't think there could be anyone else who could know this magic and be willing to teach him."

Dumbledore's analysis is reasonable and well-founded. Even if Sherlock has a good impression of the timid fat walrus old man, he has to admit that according to such a situation, he can only be the most suspicious.

He sighed lightly.

"Okay, then I'll go to that village tomorrow to find him and talk to him, hoping that he can hand over the memory of that time to me."

Dumbledore comforted her as if she could see Sherlock's feeling of loss.

"A man will not be completely denied because he has made mistakes by accident. I never doubt Horas' character. He may have some flaws in his personality, but he is still a person who is more upright than most people."

Sherlock did not struggle with this matter for too long, but asked another question after a moment of silence.

"Can I successfully persuade him?"

Dumbledore's bright blue eyes looked at Sherlock very seriously.

"No one is more qualified than you. Your mother is also his favorite student. It's not just because of her talent. Horace never got married. He treated Sally as his biological daughter at that time. After you were born, he was so excited that he almost became your godfather."

"Although you have only met a few times so far, he still regards you as his closest person, and you should be able to feel this."

Of course Sherlock could feel it.

So far, he and Slughorn have only met twice. The most recent one he has not even revealed his true identity, but he has helped him a lot.

Sherlock will never forget that bottle of Fuling or Mrs. Matthew's help.

"So, if you can find him tomorrow, just chat with him. Whether he finally agrees or not, he should meet him."

After getting a specific position from Dumbledore, Sherlock finally got up and left the principal's office.

He walked towards his office with great worries. As soon as he walked past the corner of the stairs, he saw Shilk standing quietly in front of the office door waiting for him.

When she saw Sherlock, her eyebrows and eyes subconsciously bent like crescent moons, and a faint smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

“I just made some cookies in the kitchen.”

She raised the kraft paper bag on her hand, like a little girl showing off her new work.

Compared with Sherlock's personality, Shilk's personality is undoubtedly much more lively and cheerful than when Sherlock knew her at the beginning.

If she hadn't shown such a look two years ago, no matter what, why did people cook in person or cook like cookies?

Sherlock's originally gloomy face unconsciously smiled after seeing her.

He opened the office door, took the kraft paper bag from Shilk's hand, and walked in with her.

The topics they usually chat about were nothing more than related to the courses in the school. After chatting for a while, Sherlock suddenly asked.

"Do you have anything else tomorrow?"

Shilk shook his head.
