Chapter 401 Wizards and Muggles

The expression on Sherlock's face was very calm, and his voice did not seem to be angry at all.

But Draco felt the inexplicable oppression. However, the pure blood education he received since childhood did not make him surrender directly. Instead, he seemed to be tough, but actually said in an explanatory tone.

"Witches and Muggles have never been the same species. We are born with the superiority of magic, just like Muggles will also have a sense of superiority when facing animals like orangutans. Will a Muggles be willing to volunteer for orangutans? This is an insult to our ethnic group! It is also an insult to the identity of a wizard!"

Sherlock asked instead of rushing to refute Draco or taking him into the classroom with a tough heart.

"Why do you compare the relationship between a wizard and a Muggle with a orangutan?"

"Because this is how my father taught me!" Draco seemed to have strengthened his courage when he found that Sherlock did not scold him.

"The descendants of the family that maintain pure-blooded wizards are almost certainly wizards. They are born with the ability to use magic. Even if a squib appears in a low probability situation, the squibs still have magic power in their bodies. They just cannot use magic. This is still a fundamental difference from Muggles."

"Whether the body contains magic power, this is the biggest difference between wizards and Muggles. This gap is so big that the difference between orangutans and human species is the same! Just like orangutans, they will never learn to speak and think like humans, and Muggles will never master magic and learn magic!"

From these words, it is enough to hear that Draco's thoughts have long been led by Lucius. The question of whether the wizard and the Muggle are the same species was actually a debate in the magic world many years ago, and the result of the debate was that the Ministry of Magic established its nature.

Wizards are also humans, and Muggles are also humans. As long as they are humans, there is no essential difference.

This conclusion is certainly acceptable to most people in the magic world. After all, mixed-blood wizards and Muggle wizards still occupy the majority of wizards, and those families that always insist on the continuation of pure blood are still a minority.

But only such a few actually occupy the vast majority of resources and power in the magic world.

Although the magic government has set the nature, for people from pure blood families, this sentence is no different from farting. It is just to listen to a sound and pinch your nose and endure the odor. After that, they will still discriminate and still educate them.

For example, Draco is now.

After hearing all his statements, Sherlock was not angry or showed any dissatisfaction, but said seriously.

"The perception that your father taught you was problematic from the beginning. I don't say he was wrong, but next I hope you listen to me carefully. I will judge who is right and who is wrong in my understanding of the difference between wizards and muggles."

"What is the most critical point in the distinction between humans and orangutans? Is it true that humans have what abilities are not available to orangutans? They are both arms and legs, and they are also made up of flesh and bones. Is there a huge difference in physiological structure?"

"What really distinguishes people from orangutans is not the body or a certain ability, but the brain and mind. Humans also have desires that they are born to want like orangutans. However, the difference is that people know that such desires are bad, bad, beneficial to themselves but harmful to their own kind, and then they will set up rules and regulations to restrain themselves."

"Some of these constraints are invisible, but they are conventional, we call them "morality", and some are visible and clearly stipulated for everyone to abide by.

It is also called 'law'. Combining these two things together makes people social, and it is precisely because of this that there is an essential difference between humans and orangutans and everything else, rather than a special ability."

"Whether there is such a distinction between wizards and Muggles? I know that you have never been in contact with several Muggles since you can remember, but where can you cut from Hogwarts? Are the students with impure bloodlines all showing animal nature? Or in terms of thoughts and communication, do you feel that you are different from them? You claim to be pure in bloodlines, but there is no difference between those little wizards with Muggles bloodlines, or those born entirely from Muggles, and even when learning magic, they are not as good as others. So what is the difference between wizards and Muggles? Can you tell them clearly, Draco?"

Draco's face turned red, as if he felt that his ideas that had always been adhered to were impacted by Sherlock's words.

He tried to refute it, and after Sherlock questioned, he asked without hesitation.

"Then how do you explain the difference between magic? Only those who have magic can use magic can be called wizards, and those who can't use anything are Muggles. We have, they don't. This is the most essential difference! Just like what you just said about humans and orangutans, the biggest difference is that the brain and thinking are the same as that of the mind, there is no essential difference!"

When faced with his doubts, Sherlock just asked a question.

"Can a human and an orangutan give birth to a person with a brain and mind? Can a wizard and a muggle give birth to a wizard?"

Draco was speechless.

He still seemed to want to search for all available truths and statements in his mind to deny Sherlock, but even if he wanted to break his head, he could not think of a reasonable rebuttal.

Sherlock looked at him quietly, giving him enough time to think. After Draco was completely speechless, he continued to ask another question.

"Do you know what is the definition of whether a wizard is pure blood born?"

As the only future heir of the Malfoy family, Draco certainly remembers such a noble proof quite clearly.

"A person who requires both parents to count up to three generations is a wizard to be called a pure-blooded wizard."

This is a customary rule in the pure blood circle. Even the Death Eaters follow this rule to clean up those non-pure blood wizards they think are.

After all, if this restriction is required to reach the extreme, and all parents and ancestors who have been recorded must be wizards to be called pure-blooded wizards, then the so-called pure-blooded family will basically be enemies of more than 95% of the people in the magic world.

“So the requirement of pure blood is only three generations?

"Sherlock was completely pulled down from the nail on the head, and Lucius kept instilling the fig leaf for Draco that the wizard and Muggle were divided into two different species.

"That is to say, among those who you agree with, most of them still have bloodlines that you look down upon in their bodies. Is the so-called pure blood pride worth only these three generations?"

"Magic power is indeed something unique to wizards, but this kind of thing is not completely insulated from Muggles. As long as the wizard and Muggles continue to combine and reproduce, it is completely possible for everyone in the world to become wizards in the future. Or it can be said that the world is developing in this direction."

"It is precisely because of this that the existence or not of magic cannot be the basis for species division. This is just a talent, a talent that can give rise to more development possibilities and civilization. The inheritance of this talent is not limited to wizards, which is enough to prove that wizards and muggles are both humans, and there is no essential difference between the two."

Draco was completely silent, and he could not think of any words to argue with Sherlock.

But even though this had reached the point where there was nothing to say, Draco did not let go of his persistence.

That belief that has been firmly believed in for more than ten years cannot be destroyed by Sherlock in just a few words.

Of course, Sherlock did not expect that his own "mouth escape" could make this spoiled young master Malfoy turn back.

Humans have always been very complex creatures, and using words to convince a person is undoubtedly one of the most tormenting and difficult things in the world.

So today Sherlock brought Draco here.

Although Draco was not convinced, he at least had no reason to refuse and went in to volunteer for the children. `Funw

After delaying for a while outside the door, Sherlock took him to push the door and walked into the very simple classroom.

When I opened the door, more than a dozen pairs of eyes were already looking at them in the classroom.

Because Mrs. Chris was the only one who was in charge of the orphanage, there were not many orphans here, both large and small, and only four or five, the youngest seemed to be five or six years old, and the oldest was twelve or three years old.

The one who cares about these children in the classroom is a girl who is about the same age as Draco, but she looks only sixteen or seventeen years old. The girl's temperament and conversation are much more mature than Draco, a child who has not grown up.

The girl who saw Sherlock and Draco walk in together, was a little confused when she was teaching them how to make flower baskets directly in front of the children.

"Hello? Who are you?"

This is actually a problem with the confusion curse. According to normal circumstances, Mrs. Chris should first bring them into this classroom to introduce them to the children, but because Sherlock was willing to cheat with the confusion curse, Mrs. Chris missed this matter.

Now Sherlock can only explain to the girl first.

"My name is Sherlock Forrest, this is my nephew Draco Malfoy, we are volunteering."

"Why didn't Grandma Chris bring you here?" the girl asked vigilantly.

"She seemed to be in a hurry to prepare lunch, and she left after taking us to the door. If you are worried, you can ask first." Sherlock said.

Even if Sherlock took the initiative to ask, the girl would ask first.

She called out a boy who seemed old and named "Wilson" from the children below, and asked him to look at Sherlock and the others first, and then trot out to find Mrs. Chris.

Draco was very dissatisfied with the girl's vigilance just now. He stood beside Sherlock and whispered.

"She looks like we are begging to come."

Sherlock did not respond to his words, but patted him on the shoulder and signaled him to look at a direction in the classroom.

There was a girl who had a big front teeth missing. It seemed that the six or seven-year-old girl had never seen a stranger several times, and she showed them a friendly and funny smile.

Sherlock also smiled and waved to the little girl, while whispering to Draco.

"Don't you say hello to this cute little girl?"

Draco held his hands in front of his chest, his eyes full of disdain, and a disdainful "cut" sound was heard in his mouth, without any intention of responding.

His attitude is very arrogant and deserves a beating, but Sherlock doesn't mean to force him. You can't expect a normal person to make a subversive change in just a few minutes.

Before she could wait for a long time, the girl trotted back to the classroom again. It was obvious that she was running very quickly and didn't want them to wait for a long time.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Forrest, I've confirmed it with my mother-in-law Chris. My name is Haley, and I'm from this orphanage, and I'm working as a laborer here for the time being."

The little girl named Hailey looked very polite. After confirming Sherlock's identity, she didn't care about rest and apologized breathlessly.

Of course, Sherlock had no idea what had happened just now, and he asked with a blink of an eye.

"So Miss Haley, what are we going to do next?"

After confirming their identities, Haili was not polite. It seemed that she had many volunteers who came to the orphanage.

"Then please help me take care of the youngest children. Their hands-on ability is relatively poor, and it would be best to have adults watching next to you."

Sherlock and Draco followed Haley to a corner of the classroom. The younger children gathered here, which was convenient for adults to take care of.

After they were arranged, Haili went to the back to collect the best handicrafts of the older children.

Draco and the youngest children who looked only five or six years old had big eyes and stared at them.

The children looked at him curiously, and he looked arrogant and never spoke up.

After a while, the children thought the big brother with light blonde hair was meaningless, so they turned their heads and focused again on how to weave the branches in their hands into flower baskets.

Draco felt humiliation, and he felt that these little muggle kids were looking down on him.

Sherlock ignored Draco, whose mentality was more like a child than these children, but instead greeted the little girl who smiled at them at the beginning.

"Hello, can I get to know you?"

The little girl who was carefully crafting a flower basket raised her head and saw Sherlock, she showed a harmless smile again.

"My name is Bitris, but everyone calls me Trisy." The fastest thing you provide is just a professor of the Dark Magic Defense class. Update, Chapter 401: Wizard and Muggle for free reading.
