Chapter 407 Harry's Change(1/2)

Rock Piece has always been Hagrid's specialty.

This hardness is enough to break the teeth of ordinary people, and Harry and others are not very acceptable in most cases.

But today they did not refuse, but instead stared at Hagrid's face while holding the rock crust in their mouths.

"What's wrong with you? It's like fighting with a dragon!"

Hagrid is really looking very bad now, even though he is in good spirits.

His hair was messy, with blood clots on it, his left eye was swollen into a crack, blue and purple, his face and hands were scarred, and some were bleeding. He was very careful in his movements, and Harry suspected that his ribs might have been broken.

Yesterday in the auditorium, Harry saw Hagrid's hurriedly leaving before supper began, and did not notice his serious injury.

"What did you encounter?" Harry asked, licking their faces with teeth jumping around them.

"I'm fine." Hagrid said casually, "Would you like to have a cup of tea?"

"Forget it," said Ron, "just look at your appearance!"

"Tell you I'm fine." Hager said, straightening her waist, turning around and smiling at them, but her smile pulled the wound on his face and frowned in pain, "Ah, I'm so happy to see you--the summer vacation isn't it?"

Although Christmas has almost a month passed, it is not surprising that Hager asked this, because they did not see him again after the end of last semester.

"Hagge, have you been attacked?" Ron asked.

"I'll say it last time, it's okay!" Hager insisted.

"If any of our faces turned into a ball of meat sauce, would you say it's okay?"

"You should go and have Mrs. Pomfrey see, Hagrid," said Hermione worriedly. "Some wounds look dangerous."

But as if nothing happened, Hagrid took a piece of raw meat from the table beside her that was oozing out of the green and bloody water.

"Don't worry about me, I'm really nothing."

He said as he grabbed the piece of flesh and put it in front of his face. Harry couldn't help but take a breath.

"You don't want to eat raw meat directly, do you?"

Ron also looked over and looked: "This color seems to be poisonous."

But Hagrid was indifferent and directly pressed the piece of meat to the wound on his face.

"It's like this. It's dragon meat. It can relieve pain when applied to the wound, so I have a way to take care of myself and don't have to worry about you kids."

Harry and the other two looked at each other. They exchanged ideas and decided to temporarily put down Hagrid's injury and ask something else first.

"Can you tell us what you encountered?" Harry asked.

"No, Harry, this is absolutely confidential. You can't tell me, even my job is not worthy of this responsibility."

Hager's answer was so decisive, but Hermione's next words made him panic.

"Did you go to find the giant? Hagrid." Hermione asked suddenly.

Hagrid's hand relaxed, and the dragon flesh slid to his chest.

"Giant?" Hagrid grabbed the dragon meat before it slipped onto the belt and applied it again on his face. He seemed to have never thought that it was Hermione who was cheating him, so he shouted in his rough voice, "Who said the giant? Who did you talk to?"

Hermione's eyes showed an excited look, and she said in an apology voice.

"We guessed it, it's quite obvious, isn't it? Besides, during the summer vacation, at No. 12 Grimo Square, we also overheard Kingsley and the others' conversation, saying that we should find a way to win over the giants and werewolfs."

Hagrid showed annoyance on his face. He was angry with himself. He actually let Hermione cheat his whereabouts for several months.

He has always been trusted by Dumbledore, but at some point it is not that he doesn't want to keep the secret, it is just that some people are too cunning.

"Okay, I'm really looking for a giant." Hager simply gave up. Anyway, this kind of thing has not happened once or twice, and Harry and the others are not outsiders.

Ron and Harry were both very interested in the topic of Giants.

"To be honest, they are not that hard to find," Hager said, "It's so big."

"Where are they?" Ron asked.

"In the mountains." Hagrid replied vaguely.

Harry and the others later asked a lot of questions about the giants, and Hagrid answered them one by one.

Of course, Haeger did not go alone for this nearly half a year trip. He and Mrs. Maxim, the principal of the Busbaton Magic School, ended up hooking up with him.

The two of them started a journey to find giants in the name of traveling to France, and all such secret actions were to avoid attracting the attention of the Ministry of Magic.

"Moody and the others reminded us that Death Eaters have a lot of internal support in the Ministry of Magic, and they can use this to supervise the Floor Network and monitor the traces of phantom movements, so in most cases, we can only use hiking."

According to Hagrid, they finally found a community of giants in the mountains in central France.

They gave them gifts according to the manners of giants.

At the beginning, things were going smoothly. Gugo (the title of leader) in the giant community had heard of Dumbledore's name and knew that his long-standing claim was to fight for the giants to survive.

So two days ago, Hagrid and the others were still very rewarding.

But on the third day after they arrived at the Giant's community, a rebellion occurred inside the Giant, and the good-for-hearted Gugo Dumbledore's head was twisted off by New Gugo.

The newly appointed Gugo obviously had no interest in them at all. He was even caught on the spot when Hagrid gritted his teeth and used the method of giving him a gift by handing him with old Gugo. Fortunately, Mrs. Maxim responded in time and saved Hagrid.

After that, they did not give up and continued to stay nearby to wait for an opportunity. Then they saw the Death Eaters and the others.

"Before he decided to find the giant, Sherlock actually did not expect this action. He believed that the mysterious man was also acting, gathering his allies, and the ghosts on Azkaban had completely turned to them. According to the news received by Lupin, a large number of werewolfs joined the Death Eaters team, because the mysterious man could give them better benefits."

"But we didn't make too many promises, and even some illusory promises could not be given. Compared with those violent people who may not necessarily intend to keep their promises from beginning to end, we really don't have many advantages."

Hagrid said sadly.

"At the beginning, I had doubts about Sherlock's words. I think as long as I contact the giants with all my heart, they will definitely be willing to communicate with us, knowing that the Death Eaters are not credible. But in fact, the giants who are truly willing to listen to us are an isolated case. In comparison, the conditions given to them by the mysterious people are more attractive."

Harry remained silent. He could already guess what conditions Voldemort would use to tempt these giants to form an alliance with them.

There are less than a hundred giants in the world now, and it will become like this because wizards are constantly expelling them, making their living space smaller and smaller.

Muggles have also become more pioneering in the wild than ever before, which will undoubtedly make the Giant's situation even more difficult.

As long as Voldemort promises that after he completely ruled the magic world, they would not have to hide in the mountains forever and gain more territory. Even if Harry himself was the leader of the giant, he would be happy to agree.

However, Hagrid did not all return without success. They then avoided the joint pursuit of the Death Eaters and the giants, while contacting some giants who were unwilling to surrender to the New Gugo. However, there were not many, about seven or eight, but they were better than nothing.

Hermione asked carefully at the end of the conversation.

"Well, Hagrid, are you there asking about your mom?"

Hagrid's expression didn't seem to change any sadness or sadness.

"Oh, I found out that she had died a long time ago."

The cottage suddenly became quiet, and Hermione said apologetically.

"Sorry, Hagrid, I don't know..."

Hagrid interrupted her.

"It's okay, Hermione, she's not a good mother, and I don't have much affection for her."

"But you haven't explained how you became like this, Hagrid." Ron pointed to Hagrid's bloody face.

"And why did you come back so late?" said Harry. "Siris said Mrs. Maxim had gone back long ago-"

"Who attacked you?" Ron asked.

Hager obviously didn't want to say anything more on this topic, so he had to be much more rigorous this time and didn't give Harry and the others the chance to slander.

"It's too late now, the kids are about to start curfew in the castle. You must not want to be caught by Felch in violation of school rules, right?"

He pushed and drove Harry and the others out of his hut.

"Remember not tell others what we say today."

Harry and the others had no choice but to walk towards the castle together under the night.

"Hagir must be hiding something," Ron said.

This is certainly a fact that anyone can see.

"Forget it, the more you know, there is nothing good for us."

Ron and Hermione both looked at Harry with surprise. This was obviously not what Harry could have said before.

"You won't be taken away by someone, right? Harry!"

Hermione slapped Ron on the back.

"Don't talk nonsense, Harry is much more sensible than before."

Harry was speechless about Ron's shock and Hermione's praise.

He was thinking to himself that if it were the past, he might have to figure out the secret hidden by Hager no matter what. He would be wearing an invisible cloak tonight and quietly see what Hager was doing.

But now that with the teachings of Sherlock and Lily, Harry has changed a lot more than before, especially in his impulsive personality.

After Harry and the others left, Hagrid sat in his hut and waited uneasily.

He worked on the single sofa for a while, and then felt uncomfortable and stood up, wandering back and forth in the middle of the cottage.

About an hour after Harry and the others left, at around nine o'clock in the evening, it was already time for the castle curfew, and there was a knock outside the door of the cottage.
