Chapter 43 The Second Attack

Just as Hermione left, another student came to Sherlock's office.

The student Hermione knew Colin Clivie, who was a freshman in Gryffindor this year. He also admired Harry frantically and kept taking pictures with his camera, which even made Harry feel bored.

"Can I take a photo with you professor? When I get home on Christmas, I will show my parents and my parents. After I entered Hogwarts, they have always wanted to know what this magic school looks like. My younger brother Dennis also wants to know where I study and live, so I took all the castle and took photos with my teachers and friends, intending to introduce it to them."

Colin asked Sherlock with the camera in his hand.

Sherlock stopped his work, and of course he would not refuse such filial behavior, and even had a good impression of the boy.

"Yes," he agreed.

Colin stood beside him happily, his shoulders just level with Sherlock sitting on the chair, then pointed the camera lens at him and pressed the shutter key with a smile on his face.

"Thank you, professor. I have collected almost all the professor's photos, and only Professor Snape is left. I plan to go to him tomorrow, and I hope he can agree."

Sherlock felt that his hope was slim, and he really didn't think Snape would promise anyone to take photos together.

"Then I wish you good luck tomorrow."

"Goodbye, professor."

Waiting at the door to Colin leave, Hermione walked into Sherlock's office with a hesitation.

Sherlock looked at Hermione who came in empty-handedly and raised her eyebrows slightly.

"What happened Miss Granger? Where is my book?"

Hermione tried her best to make herself look very nervous, but in fact she didn't need to show at all to be nervous enough.

She stammered.

"Yes, sorry, Professor Forrest, you borrowed the book note for me and kept it in my pocket, but when I arrived at the library, it disappeared, maybe it was lost on the road."

"Lost?"

Sherlock looked at her and asked repeatedly.

"Yes, yes, professor, I'm sorry, but I'm really accidentally and don't know when..."

Hermione explained in a hurry, but Sherlock interrupted her with a smile on his face.

"It's okay, Miss Granger, just threw out a loan note. I believe that even if someone picks it up, he won't use it to do anything bad, right?"

Hermione was very nervous now, and even in December weather, her forehead began to sweat out.

With her intelligence, she must have heard what Sherlock had guessed, but she continued to bite the bullet and say.

"There will certainly be no professor who does bad things."

Sherlock did not continue to make things difficult for him, so he pulled out a piece of parchment again, wrote the second book loan note, and handed it to Hermione.

"This note will not be lost again, will it?"

Hermione promised immediately.

"I swear, I will hand the book to your hands in ten minutes!"

"Go."

After hearing Sherlock's words, Hermione ran out of the office with a loan note. Harry and Ron were waiting for her at the corner of the corridor and the stairs.

"How is it? Did Professor Forrest find out?"

Hermione looked heavy: "Although the professor didn't say it clearly, I think he has discovered that we have tampered with his loan book."

"He didn't ask you why?" Ron asked nervously.

"No, he rewrote a loan note for me and asked me to go to the library to borrow books. You can wait for me first, and I will help the professor borrow the book back before finding you."

Hermione ran quickly and came to the library, borrowed the book, and handed it back to Sherlock, before meeting Harry Ron again.

“At least the result is good.”

Harry saw that Hermione was in a bad mood and comforted her.

Hermione shook her head and said blamingly.

"Professor Forrest is clearly such a good teacher, but I deceived him."

Ron helped her find an excuse to say it.

"We're also doing this for Hogwarts."

"After the investigation of Malfoy, we will apologize to Professor Forrest." Hermione said firmly, "regardless of whether the real murderer is Malfoy or not, we should apologize to Professor Forrest."

"We should indeed apologize to the professor," Harry also said.

Ron looked at them and sighed at last.

"Okay, since you have decided, I'll listen to you."

Hermione turned her head and looked at Harry again with dissatisfaction.

"You actually doubted Professor Forrest's blessing Jasyan before. I just heard the professor wishing Colin good luck tomorrow, so let's see if something happens to Colin tomorrow."

Harry scratched his head awkwardly. Now he felt that his suspicion was a bit outrageous. No matter what, Professor Forrest didn't seem to be the culprit behind the scenes.

"Ahem, when will we lend the book from the library?" he said with a shift.

"Tomorrow afternoon, we cannot take two professor notes to Mrs. Pings to borrow books in a short time, as she will find the problem."

The day passes quickly.

The next afternoon, after lunch, Harry, Ron, Hermione and the other three gathered at the entrance of the auditorium.

"Now, go and borrow the book first, and then go to class," said Hermione.

They walked to the library together, and Harry handed the loan note to Mrs. Pins, and finally got the "Power Potion" they needed.

The process between the two was very smooth.

They came to an abandoned girls' bathroom on the first floor, hid inside and found the recipe for compound decoction from the book.

The trouble is that there are several materials in the formula of the potion that they do not have and cannot find.

Ron looked depressed.

"What should I do?"

Hermione pursed her lips: "It's all here, we can't give up. Snape must have these materials!"

Harry's eyes widened, and he understood what Hermione meant.

"Snape is not like Professor Forrest!"

"Then let's give up like that?" Hermione asked back.

Harry and Ron looked at each other and finally gritted their teeth and said.

"Did it! The last class today is Potions class, and we will prepare at that time!"

The three reached an agreement. They walked out of the bathroom and were about to go to the classroom for class when they suddenly found a big noise in the corridor in front.

They gathered over curiously, and then found that another attack happened!

And the victim of petrification is Colin Clivie!
