Chapter 87 Harry's Discovery

Neither Harry nor Ron knew how they spent the night.

Sherlock did not impose any punishment on them. Hogwarts was about to close the school. No matter whether it was deducting points or being imprisoned, it would not have any penalties.

So Harry and the others were put back to the Gryffindor lounge, but the guilt in their hearts still made them unable to sleep all night.

The next morning, when they went to the auditorium for breakfast in the black circle, Dumbledore also came to the auditorium.

He announced the school closure in front of all the students of Hogwarts.

This caused an uproar in the auditorium. Some were glad, some looked disbelief, and some were shouting that Hogwarts could not be closed.

But they had no right to make decisions. Dumbledore announced that Hogwarts was completely closed and that Hogwarts would soon send them home tomorrow, and left the auditorium.

His leaving back gives people a feeling of disheartened loneliness.

After he left, the students continued to talk loudly, and Gryffindor was blaming Slytherin College, saying that the secret room was just the trick, and the two colleges almost started fighting in the auditorium.

Finally, under the forced intervention of Professor McGonagall and Snape, the two academy people were allowed to return to their lounges to pack up their things.

Of course, I won’t go to class again today. After breakfast, every student is ordered to not go out casually in the lounge.

In Harry and his friends' dormitory, Dean was talking to Seamo about what he was going to do after he returned home. Neville was sitting at the head of the bed, dazed in a daze. Harry and Ron discussed to see Hermione again before leaving Hogwarts.

"I heard from Percy that those petrified students would be taken to the St. Mungo Magic Hospital to wait for the maturity of Mandela, but I don't know if the professors would notify Hermione's family."

Ron said depressedly.

Harry got out of the bed.

"Let's go and we go to Professor McGonagall and say to her, and we remember to meet Hermione for the last time."

Ron glared at him.

"You're crazy! Professor McGonagall won't agree." Then he looked at Dean and the others, and said in a low voice, "If you really want to go, we can secretly use the invisibility cloak in the middle of the night..."

Harry shook his head and refused.

"No, I don't want to cause trouble for the professors like that anymore. Ron, if we honestly reported everything to the school from the beginning, Hermione wouldn't have encountered these things. We went to Professor McGonagall and asked her to allow us to go."

Ron finally sighed.

"Well, I hope Professor McGonagall can agree."

They left the dormitory together, and Professor McGonagall was in the common room in Gryffindor, and the dean of each college guarded the students in the common room of their respective colleges to prevent anyone from sneaking away.

"We want to see Hermione, Professor." Harry lowered his head, "After Hogwarts was blocked, we probably would have to wait for a long time to see her, so I want to see her for the last time before leaving school tomorrow, okay?"

Ron also begged honestly at this time.

"Please, professor, we just want to see Hermione."

Professor McGonagall stared at them, not furious, nor drove them back, with a strange trembling in her voice.

"Okay." She looked at Harry and even burst into tears. "I can understand your mood as a friend... If you want to go, I can let you go to the school infirmary, and tell Mrs. Pomfrey wherever you go."

Harry and Ron showed a look of surprise in their eyes. Neither of them expected that Professor McGonagall would be blocked.

They left Gryffindor's lounge and trotted to the school infirmary and told Mrs. Pomfrey that Professor McGonagall approved them to visit Hermione.

Mrs. Pomfrey let them in, but she was reluctant.

"She can't move all over her body now, and can't hear you talking. It's meaningless to come to visit her."

She was indeed right. Looking at Hermione's still face, Ron was in a very depressed mood.

"If we had listened to her earlier, she wouldn't have been lying here now, and Hogwarts would not have closed the school tomorrow."

Although Harry was in a bad mood, he was attracted by Hermione's right hand clenched.

There was a little white corner that was exposed, and Harry leaned over and found a ball of paper in her hand!

He patted Ron's arm and signaled his own discovery.

"We're going to take it out." Ron whispered.

Then he deliberately moved the chair to block Mrs. Pomfrey's view, allowing Harry to move more easily.

This process took him several minutes, and finally he took it out of Hermione's hand without tearing the note apart.

They spread out the note and saw the text on it.

This is a note with two words written vaguely.

"Snake monster", "Tube".

Ron was confused when he looked at the two words, but a bright light suddenly flashed through Harry's mind!

He suddenly grabbed Ron's arm.

"This is the clue that Hermione left to us!" Harry said excitedly, "That monster is a snake monster! No wonder! No wonder I can hear that strange sound every time someone is attacked, because I am a snake man, and I can understand the snake language. It moves through the pipes in the castle, and it is because of this that no one notices it when it attacks!"

Ron was also excited with him, but when the two of them were discussing and preparing to tell the professors everything they found, they calmed down and discovered.

Even the real identity of the monster and the way it moves in the castle will not help the current situation at all.

Because through these, they could not find the entrance to the secret room.

The large Hogwarts Castle can accommodate students of seven ages and it seems empty, with seven horizontal and eight vertical pipes connecting all over the place. It is undoubtedly a huge project to investigate these pipe crosses clearly.

But even if it is a small discovery, Harry and Ron plan to report it.

Last night, Sherlock's words woke them up by scolding. Their self-righteousness will only harm everyone.

So Harry and Ron hurriedly left the school hospital and returned to the Gryffindor lounge to tell Professor McGonagall about their discovery.

But he found out that Professor McGonagall had left the common room, and the person in charge of guarding the lounge became a premier.

Percy said he would not let Harry and Ron go out again.

Professor McGonagall told him before leaving school tomorrow morning to take the Hogwarts Express.
