Chapter 487 Gru and Catherine(2/4)

Especially in the past history of their world, many religions existed at the same time.

There are two religions among them, one is called Catholicism and the other is Judaism.

A long time ago, there was a big businessman named Giannotto, a man of integrity, noble moral character, and a Catholic.

He had a good friend named Abraham, a Jew, very rich, and also a man of high moral character, but he believed in Judaism.

Giannotto heard that Jewish believers were hypocritical and worried that his friend's soul would perish in a hundred years, so he urged him to convert to his Catholic faith.

But Abraham believed that only Judaism in the world was the most sacred, and he would remain faithful to his faith until death.

But Giannotto was unwilling to give up at all, and instead tried to persuade him again and again.

In the end, Abraham compromised.

But the premise is that he must go to the Catholic cathedral in person and see with his own eyes what the pope and the four cardinals do.

If it was as good as Giannotto said, he would convert to Catholicism.

Hearing this, Giannotto immediately felt guilty.

Because Giannotto knew clearly that the Pope and his staff lived a dissolute and shameless life.

If Abraham were to see it, any hope of persuading him to convert would be in vain.

So Giannotto found various reasons to persuade Abraham not to go to Rome and to be baptized nearby.

But Abraham was determined, unmoved, and insisted on going.

Giannotto had no choice but to wish him a safe journey.

Abraham set off immediately. After arriving in Rome, he used his business as a cover to secretly observe the life style of the pope, cardinals, bishops and other priests in the Holy See.

After a period of understanding, he discovered that the Catholic people were all shameless people from top to bottom.

They are greedy for money and lust, do all kinds of evil, violate human ethics, indulge in male habits, have no scruples, and have long lost their sense of shame.

They openly engaged in prostitution, keeping children, and molesting children in broad daylight. All of them were lustful, hungry, drunkards.

What's even more incredible is that they are greedy, love money as much as their lives, and are willing to traffic in people and clergy to make money. All these things are too numerous to describe.

After Abraham saw all this, he immediately set off for home, not wanting to stay in Rome for a moment longer.

Hearing that his friend had returned, Giannotto went to visit him and test Abraham's views on the Roman Catholic Church.

Abraham angrily recounted everything he saw and heard there. At the end, he said:

'It has long become a melting pot of all evil. Those so-called cardinals and archbishops are destroying Catholicism. They are the gravediggers of Catholicism.'

After hearing this, Giannotto couldn't help but feel dumbfounded.

Abraham continued:

'However, the reality is that no matter how much these morons try to bring down Catholicism, it still stands, and instead flourishes day by day.

This made me believe that there must be God as a pillar and foundation for it.

In other words, Catholicism is indeed greater and more sacred than other religions.

My dear friend, I have made the decision to convert to Catholicism.’

Giannotto was so happy that it was beyond words.

He immediately accompanied his good friend to the baptism.

Soon Abraham became a devout Catholic."

After saying this, Catherine burst into laughter.

"Qi Ge said that he was very sure that his world was different from ours.

Their world chosen by God Asa has no gods.

Moreover, Abraham in the story must also be very aware of this.

But Abraham still chose to join the Catholic Church.

This was not because Abraham was stupid, but because Abraham was too smart.

He knew very well that with his family background and ability, as long as he joined the Catholic Church, he would soon be able to live the same heavenly life on earth as those who had fallen.

Gru, I used to think like you that there are too few smart people who can see through the true face of the church.

But it wasn’t until I saw Qi Ge’s letter that I understood.

It’s not that there are too few smart people, it’s that there are too many smart people.

A world without God is like this, let alone a world with God.”

Catherine smiled bitterly:

"In Erathia, stupid people like me, M'lak, and Qige are the minority.

But there will always be some stupid people who stand up, go against the wind, and do things that smart people don't want to do.

Only then will our country and our people have hope."

Gru's Adam's apple twitched.

It was obviously a dark night and he didn't turn on his magic vision, but he always felt that Catherine's body was glowing.

What makes me so attached to her, even to the point of losing my mind, is this holy light in her body.

Gru said softly:

“Beyond the gods, there is the mother goddess.

Catherine, the Mother Goddess will see this."

"Um?"

Gru took a deep breath and said:

"Everything you do, the Mother Goddess will see.

Although you may not care, I want to say that everything you do will be rewarded."

"Hmm. Haha."

Catherine laughed.

"Repay? Maybe the Mother Goddess has already given it to me in advance.

For example, you?"

Phew~

A gust of breeze suddenly blew open the curtains, causing Catherine's hair to fly.

Catherine gently pushed down the hair from the corners of her mouth with her hands and complained softly:

"Run away at this moment, you coward."

"Coward!! Stop!"

"I won't! I will run.

If you don’t chase me, I will stop!”

"Ouch! Come on, first mate! Don't be caught up!"

"Go, go, go!"

Cirno chased me, but the seven pigeons ran away.

There was a lot of joy and laughter on the Blue Whale.

Adrid looked at this scene with some confusion. The savior jointly chosen by the God of Destiny and the God of Magic had such a cheerful personality, which was really beyond her expectation.

In the end, those who could run on two legs could not compete with those who could fly in the sky, and Qi Ge was still caught by Cirno.

Cirno froze the bodies of the seven pigeons, leaving only one head.

She stepped on Qi Dove's head and complained angrily:

"Asshole! You pulled out all my mushrooms and made me hungry for six days!

I almost starved to death!!"

Qi Ge was confused:

"Six days?! How could you be hungry for six days?

The fairy ring mushrooms will grow back a week after they are plucked.

Didn't I leave you 7 jars of honey?

It should be enough for you to eat for a week."

Cirno puffed out her chest confidently:
