Chapter 189 [Three Whips](1/2)

 "Woo!"

A gust of gloomy wind blew by, causing Cheng Yu, who had just arrived at Yinsi Wujun Hall, to frown.

His soul went down to the underworld more than once or twice, but this evil wind was obviously different. With Cheng Yu's extraordinary hearing, he could hear that this evil wind was mixed with miserable wails.

Standing in the palace and looking up, he saw that the size of the Wujun Palace in Qianjiang Prefecture was more than twice that of Qingchuan County. However, according to Qin Hongyu, in a few months, such a large main palace would be packed to the brim.

Cheng Yu inquired carefully and found out that it turns out that every July 15th is the time when the civil and military monarchs of the counties under the jurisdiction of Qianjiang Prefecture come to the Wen and Martial Temple in the prefecture to report on their work.

At that time, the military commanders of each county will not come alone, but there will be at least a few, and as many as ten or twenty people will follow the military judge.

In particular, Lord Wu’s subordinates are all fierce warriors, and when they get together, the sky is full of excitement.

Occasionally, there would be some rare traitors, evil men, and powerful men among them. After their death, they were personally escorted and taken to the palace by the military monarchs, and handed over to Qin Hongyu for disposal.

Of course, this kind of situation may only happen once or twice in a hundred years.

"Woo..."

"Aww!"

Another gust of dark wind blew in from outside the palace, and the sounds of despair and wailing mixed with it became clearer.

"Greetings to Lord Wu! Greetings to Lord Wen!"

Several military and military judges clasped their fists and saluted the civil and military monarchs.

"Well! Is that thorn demon still there?"

Qin Hongyu wrote lightly.

One of the martial judges clasped his fists and said yes, and at the same time glanced at Cheng Yu and the sword wrapped in cloth in his hand.

"Let's go, Mr. Cheng, it's not too late for me to wait."

After Qin Hongyu finished speaking, she turned around and stepped out of the palace first.

"Please, sir."

Seeing that Cheng Yu didn't move, Wenjun made a gesture of invitation, and then stepped out of the palace door first. Cheng Yu then followed them with the Wujun Sword in hand.

Walking in a dark corridor, the ghostly oil lamps above his head flickered on and off, and he heard the pitiful wailing and crying sounds in front of him getting louder and louder. Cheng Yu tightened his sword in his hand and asked:

"Where is the front?"

"At the end of the corridor ahead is the Department of Punishing Evil."

"Aunt Bai is in the Evil Punishment Department? What did she commit?"

When Cheng Yu asked, Wenjun shook his head and said with a smile:

"When the time comes, Mr. Cheng will understand."

Cheng Yu knew that Wenjun and Aunt Bai were old acquaintances. Seeing that her speech was natural and her expression was as usual, he felt relaxed.

Walking to the end of the corridor, there is a separate courtyard. On the door of the tall courtyard hangs a plaque with black characters on a white background, and the three dazzling characters "Department of Punishing Evil" are clearly written on it.

In a large hall in the courtyard, several clusters of will-o'-the-wisps flickered, reflecting two slanting figures dragging on the ground.

A faint cold air seeped out from the palace.

"Pa! Pa!..."

"One hundred and one...one hundred and two..."

"..."

"The guilty soul has been fainted!"

"I'll beat you to death! You're a treacherous traitor!"

"Pah! Pah!"

"One hundred and seven, one hundred and eight! Suspension! Today's flogging has been completed."

Qin Hongyu, the leader, had just walked to the front of the palace gate when he heard the shouts of the military judge inside. He turned around and rushed to Cheng Yu and said:

"Unexpectedly, it's still a step too late."

Cheng Yu had just heard that the voice inside shouting "I'll beat you to death" and scolding the traitor was Aunt Bai. It turned out that she had become the executioner here.

This was the first time Cheng Yu came to a place like the Punishment Department. When he stepped into the palace, he saw a torch hanging at each corner of the palace, but there was no warmth at all. The torches were all burning ghost fire.

On the left side of the hall is a row of execution racks, with various ghastly iron rope torture instruments hanging on the wall.

There was a person standing on one of the torture racks. Looking through the dim lights, he saw that it was a monster with a rat head and body.

The white shirt he was originally wearing has been whipped into tattered strips of cloth. Inside each whip mark, you can vaguely see the burnt soul and the faint black smoke.

A rat head hangs down on the shoulder.

This man could no longer bear the torture and showed his true colors

Cheng Yu couldn't recognize the other party's identity, so he looked at Aunt Bai.

I saw that she and another martial judge had their backs to the palace door. Aunt Bai had changed out of her previous long robe and wide sleeves into a neat short skirt. Her silver hair was slightly messy. She raised her hand to wipe away the fine beads of sweat on her forehead.

The right hand is still holding the soul whip tightly, and the whole body is shaking slightly.

"Pa!"

Aunt Bai raised her hand and swung the whip again, and the whip blade passed through the chest of the rat-headed monster, taking away another stream of black smoke soul power.

It's just that the rat-headed man had already fainted and didn't react at all, which made the prison judge next to him suddenly jump to his feet and curse:

"Hey! You pious mother-in-law! You are really arrogant! Can you swing the soul-beating whip of the Evil Punisher at will?

Lord Wu has an order, how many whips should be given, just how many whips, no more, no less! Eh? What are you going to do? Stop! Give me back the whip!"

"Pah! Pah!"

Aunt Bai ignored her, waved her hand and whipped out two more times.

Finally, Wu Pan couldn't help it, he opened his five fingers and made a move in the air, and the black soul-beating whip left Aunt Bai's right hand with a "whoosh!" and fell into Wu Pan's hand.

"You've rebelled against me! Mr. Wu, letting a demon soul like you come here for execution is already an act of mercy outside the law. You actually dare to act recklessly. I will definitely go to your lord to report..."

The martial judge held the whip and turned around to walk towards the palace door, but happened to see Lord Wu leading Wenjun and a young man in white clothes in. He hurriedly clasped his fists and saluted:

"See Lord Wu!"

Qin Hongyu nodded coldly, and then glared at Aunt Bai. Seeing the real master coming, Aunt Bai no longer dared to make any mistakes, and hurriedly said Wanfu and saluted.

"Forget it, you thorny demon should stop playing tricks like those in front of others and those behind others. I think the temple here is small, and I, Qin Hongyu, speak softly. The laws of Wujun Palace are like chicken feathers in front of such a powerful person like you, so of course

You don’t even notice.”

Aunt Bai was so frightened when she heard this that she didn't even see Cheng Yu behind her, so she hurriedly bowed deeply and said sincerely:

"Master Wu, forgive me. I did not intentionally disobey Jun's decree. I really hate this traitor deeply in my heart. If not for him, how could he have caused the entire Bai family to be executed? That's why I couldn't help but give him three more whips."<

"Bah! I was so soft-spoken at the beginning that I let you, a demonic little official, carry out the whipping execution. Seeing as how young you are, you are surprisingly incompetent."

Qin Hongyu spat disdainfully.

Wenjun in front of Cheng Yu also felt a little embarrassed, his face turned red to his ears. When he thought about it, he knew that Wenjun must have asked for the execution responsibility for Aunt Bai.

Seeing that his mother was still trying to blame him, Wenjun gritted his teeth and said:

"Mother, please calm down. My child has indeed made a mistake in his recommendation. Please understand, mother, that all the members of the Bai Kexian clan were killed by this beast, so I lost my sense of proportion for a moment."

Qin Hongyu snorted slightly and said displeasedly:

"It was for Lord Wen's sake that I reluctantly allowed you, a demonic spirit, to come to my palace for execution. If it weren't for the fact that your entire family is in despair, I would not have tolerated you."<

"Ah! I still haven't thanked Mr. Wu for his magnanimity!"

Wenjun reminded him and winked at Aunt Bai.

Aunt Bai hurriedly climbed up the pole and slapped her on the back. Qin Hongyu then waved her hand:

"But one code must be returned to another code. Since you have violated the rules of our Wujun Palace, you can be exempted from the death penalty, but you will not be spared from the living crime."

After saying that, she made a casual move, and a soul whip appeared out of thin air in her hand.

"Pah! Pah! Pah!"

"Hmm!"

Qin Hongyu raised three whips casually, and all of them hit Aunt Bai, causing her to tremble wildly and curl up on the ground. The tip of the whip brought up three thin streaks of black and yellow wishing power that floated into the air, and finally blended in silently.

Inside the wooden beams in the hall.

Qin Hongyu held the whip in her hand and turned to look at the military judge supervising Aunt Bai and continued:

"If I remember correctly, you are Feng Sanbao, the official who punishes evil officials?"

When Feng Sanbao heard this, he had already greeted Aunt Bai's ancestors in his heart. Thinking that this melon was finally settled, he hurriedly fell to his knees with a plop and replied:
To be continued...
