Chapter 62

Qingyun’s Daily Life

Qingyun Sect has four peaks and one hall.

The Hall of Eternal Life, where the leader is located, is divided into two halls: law enforcement and tasks.

Gen Yan Peak, where Elder Fa Yi serves as the peak master, most of the disciples at the peak have golden and earth spiritual roots.

Most of the disciples at Bailian Peak, where Elder Xiang serves as the peak master, have fire and wood spiritual roots.

Lingshui Peak, where Elder Changfeng serves as the peak master, most of his disciples learn water spiritual power.

The last peak is the Four Arts Peak. As the name suggests, this peak was originally the place where the four arts of the sect's alchemy weapon array gathered. The learning of the four arts not only requires a lot of resources, but also requires corresponding teachers and inheritance.

After the death of the first leader, the declining Si Yi Peak gradually fell into disuse, and finally the disciples who originally belonged to the Si Yi Peak were assigned to the other three peaks.

There are two direct disciples under Chang Hao, the leader of the Palace of Eternal Life, the eldest disciple Shang Qi and the youngest disciple Zhen Zining.

Shang Qi has both earth and wood spiritual roots. He built the foundation at the age of twenty-seven and reached the late stage of foundation building a year ago. Now his bone age is less than fifty. He is the most promising among Qingyun's disciples to advance to the golden elixir.

Disciples of the Qingyun Sect judge their strengths by cultivation, and judge their order by their qualifications.

Among the disciples of each generation, the one with the highest cultivation level is the senior brother.

If Zhen Zining is the senior disciple among the young disciples, then Shang Qi is undoubtedly the leader among the previous disciples.

"Junior sister, let's go back."

Zheng Hu scratched his head, his face full of confusion.

The sect competition is coming soon. If I go to Senior Brother Shang at this time, I'm afraid I will be scolded.

Gu Yun didn't look back, but walked a little faster: "Senior Brother Shang rarely comes back. We junior brothers and sisters go to visit and ask for advice. Even if the master knows about it, he can only praise you. What are you afraid of!"

Zheng Hu breathed a sigh of relief and smiled: "I thought junior sister was going to inquire about Elder Keqing's affairs."

Gu Yun pouted and didn't answer. The master didn't disclose anything. She just went to Senior Brother Shang to find out the news.

There has been a lot of buzz in the sect about the new guest elder, and there are even rumors that this elder is a demon cultivator, so he doesn't show up.

No wonder everyone is surprised. The addition of a new elder to a sect is a big deal, and as a rule, a sect conference is held.

It is really strange that Wuyi Peak was renamed Langhuan so quietly.

When the two of them walked to the entrance of Shang Qiyuan, they met Wu Xing face to face.

"Senior Brother Wu?"

Gu Yun was surprised, wouldn't even Senior Brother Wu come to inquire for information?

Zheng Hu didn't think it was strange. Ever since Senior Brother Shang came back, his Senior Brother has been running here every two days.

Wu Xing smiled at the two of them: "Why are you here with Senior Brother?"

Gu Yun rolled his eyes, took a few steps forward and approached Wu Xing, lowering his voice: "Senior Brother Wu, have you heard about the elder on Langhuan Peak?"

Wu Xing was stunned, why did Junior Sister Gu ask about this?

"Junior sister, why are you asking this?"

The master had already told him and his junior brother not to be too curious about this matter. If they knew about it, the sect would tell them.

Could it be that Senior Brother Wu knows some news?

Gu Yun's eyes lit up and his voice became softer: "Brother, do you know how advanced this new elder is? Is he a man or a woman, a Taoist cultivator or a demon cultivator?"

Wu Xing was stunned, how could Junior Sister Gu have such a strange idea.

Seeing Wu Xing shaking his head and walking into the courtyard without saying a word, Gu Yun stamped his feet and followed, but was ejected by the formation at the door.

Fortunately, Zheng Hu caught up behind him, otherwise he might have fallen down.

This was not the first time for Gu Yun to come here. He had never been blocked by the formation before. When he realized that he was turned away, Gu Yun's eyes turned red.

Zheng Hu panicked when he saw that she looked wrong.

"Master, junior sister."

In the courtyard, Wu Xing looked at the man lying on the tree trunk: "Junior Sister Gu has a vengeful character. If Senior Brother teases her like this, I'm afraid there will be no good fruits if Elder Fayi finds out."

Shang Qi yawned: "Do you think Junior Sister Gu dares to tell Elder Fayi about this?"

Wu Xing choked.

Indeed, although Elder Fayi protects his shortcomings, he is also very strict with Junior Sister Gu, his only disciple.

If he knew that Junior Sister Gu had been rejected, he would probably hate iron even more, and would inevitably scold her for not cultivating well.

"It's you, why are you here again today?"

Shang Qi was confused. This was already the fourth time this month. He always said he was here for a spar, but he left again after only a few rounds.

Wu Xing's eyes flickered: "It's not like senior brother is too powerful."

Shang Qi sneered: "Then you still come to ask for a beating?"

Wu Xing knew that if he didn't tell the truth, this guy would go crazy, so he had to tell the truth: "Oh, it's not because of my master."

Shang Qi was confused: "What's wrong with Elder Xiang?"

Elder Xiang is usually an alchemy idiot, and Wu Xing, the eldest disciple, is basically in charge of everything in the peak. He said that the hundreds of peak-refining disciples in each peak can live most comfortably.

Wu Xing held up his hands, jumped up to another tree trunk, lay down opposite Shang Qi, sighed and said, "My master wants me to learn alchemy."

Shang Qi wondered: "Isn't it good to learn alchemy? I used to envy you for having an alchemy master."

Wu Xing stared: "Is there such a thing?"

Shang Qi nodded.

This is not a lie. He comes from a folk royal family. His imperial grandfather admired the art of alchemy. When he was young, he mistakenly believed that alchemy was the art of immortality. So when he learned that Elder Xiang was the most powerful alchemist in the sect, he

I have actually envied Wu Xing, who is similar in age, for a while.

Thinking of his childhood ignorance, Shang Qi couldn't help laughing.

However, the alchemy weapon array is still of great help to the monks.

"So, you came to me to avoid your master?"

Shang Qi touched his chin and looked at the other party's rare expression of embarrassment.

Wu Xing shook his head irritably: "I really have no interest in alchemy, otherwise I would have become an alchemist long ago."

Shang Qi nodded and said jokingly: "After all these years, your master should have realized that you are a piece of rotten wood in this regard. Why do you still have extravagant hopes for you?"

Wu Xing shook his head, this was what he couldn't figure out.

When he was young, his master wanted to teach him and his junior brother the art of alchemy, but they had no choice but to learn it for two years. They couldn't even do basic fire control well, so they gave up.

He thought that the master had given up on them a long time ago, but recently he recruited him to learn alchemy whenever he had time.

Unfortunately, he didn't have this in mind, but he couldn't refuse directly, so he had to make an excuse to make an appointment with his senior brother to learn moves and escape.

Wu Xing sighed: "Well, if it weren't for the sect competition coming soon, I would have left the sect to practice."

Shang Qi glanced at him and said, "You didn't stay long this time, and you want to go out again."

Wu Xing put his hands on the back of his head, looked at the lush leaves, and said in a faint voice: "Of course I am comfortable in the sect, but as a cultivator, if you fall behind every step, you will fall behind every step. I can't feel at ease."

Shang Qi didn't expect him to think like this. No wonder he hasn't been seen in the sect for a long time since the foundation was established: "Having said that, are you a little too impatient? Cultivation also pays attention to the combination of movement and stillness."

Wu Xing shook his head. He didn't understand this truth, but he was stuck in the early stage of foundation building for more than ten years, so he had no choice but to be impatient.
