Chapter 6 Martial Arts

"Senior, please!" The old fox led the way in front and led Zhou Tong to a stone cave south of the valley.

This stone cave is big and wide, and it is obviously the residence of these foxes. After walking in, it feels like entering a palace.

There are many small holes on the walls of the cave, and countless oil lamps are lit on the holes.

The materials of these oil lamps are not simple. They do not have smoke or any pungent smell when burned. Instead, they have a fragrance. Moreover, the light of the oil lamp is also very bright, and even when the breeze blows, the fire does not shake.

The cave is full of various wooden bookshelves on all sides, and the bookshelf is filled with books, various manuscripts, woodcuts, lithographs, rubbings, etc., all of which are available.

Around the wall, in addition to ten huge bookshelfs, there are countless paper yellowed books around the corners of the wall.

The books in this stone chamber are conservatively estimated to be as many as 100,000 books.

Seeing Zhou Tong's eyes looking at the books, the old fox leading the way was even more proud, with his beard raised.

Zhou Tong looked a little funny. This old fox had learned all the habits of human beings.

Many wealthy families are probably in this way when they show off their collection of books to others!

Zhou Tong then approached these books and took a few books and read them. Most of these books were books such as Buddhist scriptures, and were brought out by these foxes after the Great Zen Temple was destroyed.

Sure enough, when the old fox saw Zhou Tong reading these books, he began to explain the origin of these books.

"Oh, it's a pity that the thousand-year-old temple has always been bright, but it was burned to rebel because it contacted the old man in the previous dynasty, but it was finally burned." When talking about the ending of the Dachan Temple, the old fox was also a little moved.

Dachan Temple is a thousand-year-old temple with a huge area and a great prosperity. Legend has it that this temple can only lit up the little monks who burn incense to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas every day.

At the same time, this temple is also a holy place for martial arts, holy place for practice, and holy place for wealth.

"The rebellion is not accurate, but the Daqian Dynasty's greed for the wealth and martial arts of the Dachen Temple is truly true." Zhou Tong shook his head. This place where so much wealth has been accumulated, basically no promising monarch will tolerate it, especially the temple does not need to pay taxes.

"Senior, great insight!" The old fox's eyes lit up and he nodded in agreement.

"There are many books here, can I keep it here for a while?" Zhou Tong turned to look at the old fox and asked.

"Senior, even if you are reading books here, all the tea and food supply will be served by the old man!" The old fox was very attentive, "As long as you can take the time to give us some advice."

Just based on what Zhou Tong said before, the old fox basically confirmed that Zhou Tong had at least some knowledge and insight, otherwise it would be impossible for him to say such words.

Their pure fox clan has always just learned the etiquette and writing of the human race, but few people really communicate with the human race. Now there is such a person who is willing to live here for a while and he is reluctant to ask for it.

"I have limited knowledge and have not learned a lot of things myself. I'm afraid I will disappoint you!" Zhou Tong shook his head.

He actually didn't know much about the knowledge and principles of this world, because since he came to this world, he has only obtained the memories of the disciples of the Jingyuan Temple, and what he knows is basically his knowledge.

Although many things are consistent in basic principles, some principles of the world of shading the sky can actually be used in this world of Yangshen.

But before truly learning the principles and knowledge of this world, Zhou Tong was unwilling to say anything more.

"Learning endlessly, and there is a way of saying that 'The world is clear and knowledgeable, and understanding human feelings is article'. Senior, you have crossed mountains and rivers all the way. This life experience alone is far beyond the comparison of us, the wild foxes." The old fox said.

"Life experience... it depends on what kind of experience. If I understand the experience, it doesn't matter how much I teach you." Zhou Tong pondered for a while, then agreed, "Don't call me 'senior'. I'm not old, just call my name 'Zhou Tong'!"

While Zhou Tong spoke, his eyes continued to stare at the bookshelf.

"Okay, then you can read the book slowly here!"

"I'm going to teach those children. If you want anything, just give me a command." The old fox saw Zhou Tong reading the books again, then nodded, and finally said, then went out to greet the other little foxes.

After the old fox left, Zhou Tong quickly turned his attention to the bookshelf at the center, especially the two huge books in it - "The Martial Classic" and "The Taoist Classic".

There are a large number of books, each with dozens of volumes thick.

"The Amitabha Sutra of the Past is in the cracks of the Martial Sutra!" Zhou Tong pondered for a while and directly read these two sutras.

The "Wu Jing" and "Tao Jing" are classics compiled by collecting books from all over the world at the beginning of the Daqian Dynasty. However, not long after this book was compiled, it was immediately regarded as a forbidden book by the Daqian Dynasty. At the same time, the "Wu Jing" and "Tao Jing" scattered among the people were collected and burned together. Anyone who found privately was guilty of being severely punished.

However, there are many abridged places in the Daqian Dynasty's "Wu Jing" and "Tao Jing" and "Tao Jing" and most of the things recorded in them are rough things.

But many of the things here are needed by Zhou Tong. He only had one "Moro Divine Hit" when he came to this world. The rest of his knowledge about martial arts and Taoism was only obtained from the disciples of the Jingyuan Temple. He needed some other martial arts knowledge as a supplement. Even if the "Martial Sutra" and "Tao Sutra" talk about the basics, it would be fine.

After turning on the two sutras, this book begins with the principles of martial arts and Taoism - Crossing the Sea.

The world is a sea of suffering. The human body is the boat that crosses the sea, and the soul is the person in the boat. Martial arts are to practice the body so that it can carry people across the sea; and Taoism is to practice the soul. Even if the body decays, the people inside can swim by themselves, or even change to a boat.

Zhou Tong read it very quickly. After reading all these two scriptures, he immediately had a new understanding of the martial arts and Taoist techniques in this world.

"The martial arts are not much different from what I guess, and there is no way I really need to open the acupoints; but I have a truly comprehensive and systematic understanding of Taoism!" Zhou Tong said intimately.

He did know some realms of Taoism from the original text, but the original text did not clearly describe how to practice it in all aspects, so what Zhou Tong knew was only a rough idea, but he didn't understand the real and most basic things at all.

However, a book of "Tao Sutra" gave Zhou Tong a comprehensive understanding and understanding of Taoism and many of the mysterious things.
