Zhu Yuanzhang's pair

Zhu Yuanzhang was not studying, and in the eyes of others, he might be a rough man, but you have to say that his poems and songs are quite domineering, and even a hand-made calligraphy can make people shine. I have to say that he is a genius, but in the eyes of later generations, his poems are better than his words, and the pairs are better than his poems. Taking this opportunity, I found some interesting couplets to show you. Of course, this is not a word, because it is the request of book friends!

Zhu Yuanzhang loved couplets all his life and enjoyed it. On the New Year's Eve of the year when he ascended the throne, he issued an imperial edict, requiring the officials, scholars and common people to post Spring Festival couplets, and visit them in private and personally inspected them. When he saw red couplets posted everywhere in Jinling (now Nanjing), he was very happy. Suddenly, he found that the family did not post Spring Festival couplets, and was very surprised, so he went in to ask the reason. When he learned that this was a pig family, he could not write and could not afford to ask anyone to write, he asked the followers to take out the four treasures of the study and wrote a pair of Spring Festival couplets for him:

Divide the way of life and death with both hands,

Cut off the right and wrong root with one knife.

After writing, he turned around and left without saying a word. When he came back and passed by, he saw that the Pighuohu had not posted the Spring Festival couplets he wrote, so he went in to question. The Pighuohuo explained: "We only realized after you left that we were here today and wrote the Spring Festival couplets for us little people. I am so grateful. Now I hang the imperial pen holy trace in the main house and burn incense to wish you. This is the happiness and auspiciousness that the emperor has sent to my family!" After hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang was very happy and immediately gave the Pighuohuo 3 taels of silver.

It was a common thing for Zhu Yuanzhang to visit privately on a private side and understand the people's conditions. Once, he visited a small town in Jiangnan. He saw people flying around the streets, and it was very prosperous. He was in full swing and walked into a vegetable market. When he arrived at a vendor selling lotus roots, he picked up a lotus root and looked at it, asked the price, and then said with a smile:

A bend of the west arm

It means comparing lotus root to the white, tender and tender arms of the beautiful Xi Shi, and praise the greatness of lotus root. The lotus seller is of course happy. He then looked at the lotus root nodes, looked at the lotus root eyes, and said to him with a smile:

Seven orifices of the heart

Bi Gan was the uncle of King Zhou of Shang Dynasty. He was at least in charge. King Zhou was extremely debauchery and his country was in decline. Bi Gan advised him to stay away from Daji and act benevolent and righteous. He was annoyed by Daji. He instigated King Zhou to kill Bi Gan and test it out. He saw that Bi Gan's heart was a delicate heart. The seller of the lotus is really good. You are really good at your eyesight, and your mind is as upright and selfless as Bi Gan, and you don't say anything bad. Therefore, the seller of the lotus was named "Sacrificial Wine" by Zhu Yuanzhang.

Tao An was a famous Grand Secretary of the Ming Dynasty and one of the ministers that Zhu Yuanzhang valued very much.

One day, Zhu Yuanzhang came to Tao An's house and saw Tao An using his calligraphy as a pillow. He played half a couplet:

Pillow Dan's classics, together with many sages

Tao An was speechless in panic. After a moment of silence, he stopped and saw Zhu Yuanzhang holding a folding fan in his hand and painting a map of mountains and rivers on it, and blurted out:

Fans write about the country and the world, and there is a unity of the universe in hand.

In the ninth year of Hongwu, that is, in the early 13th year, Ru Taisu, the head of the Ministry of Justice, presented Zhu Yuanzhang a one-word memorial to Zhu Yuanzhang. Zhu Yuanzhang ordered Wang Min, the clerk, to read it to him. When Wang Min read the three words, he had not heard the specific content yet, and it was all empty words. Zhu Yuanzhang was very angry and ordered people to call Ru Taisu and beat him up. At night, Zhu Yuanzhang lay on the bed and asked Wang Min to continue reading. After reading the one-word memorial, he was involved in the topic. Ru Taisu suggested five things, four of which were desirable and feasible. So Zhu Yuanzhang took the memorial and commented on the homepage two sentences, which happened to be a couplet:

Redundant verses are boring

Talking frankly is promising

The next morning, Zhu Yuanzhang said in front of all civil and military officials that Ru Taisu’s memorial for five things could have been clearly stated, but he wrote one word in a long and verbose way. I was disgusted with listening to traditional Chinese literature and beat him up. This seemed inappropriate. As for Ru Taisu’s courage to express his thoughts and bravely make suggestions, he should be praised, which means he is a loyal minister.

Later, Zhu Yuanzhang wrote the story of this matter into a statement and stipulated the format of advice. After this rectification, all officials only stated the facts when writing the memorials and tried to delete the traditional Chinese texts. Zhu Yuanzhang saved a lot of energy and time to review the memorials.

Zhu Yuanzhang had two sons and one daughter. He deeply hated that he had no chance to go to school when he was young because he was poor, so he attached great importance to the education of his children and grandchildren. He specially built a "big home hall" in the palace, stored precious books, recruited famous scholars from all over the world as the princes, and the kings took turns to give lectures, selected young talents with outstanding talents, and often gave banquets and poems, talked about the past and the present, discussed articles, and wrote couplets. In order to understand the talents of his descendants, he often went tobig home hall to check in, interview, and enjoyed couplets with his children and grandchildren.

Once, Zhu Yuanzhang came to the main hall and wanted to try the talents and knowledge of the crown prince Zhu Yunwen, and asked him to write a poem. Zhu Yunwen quickly wrote a poem, and the last two sentences were:

Although hidden in the world,

There is also a green light shining on the Jiuzhou.

After reading this poem, Zhu Yuanzhang felt that he lacked temperament and was very dissatisfied.

He called the fourth son Zhu Di and the crown prince Zhu Yunwen to watch the horse racing together. Seeing the pegasus like an arrow from a string, the ponytail was blown up by the wind while running, flying everywhere, very magnificent and beautiful. The couplet was very exciting and the mouth was occupied by the upper line:

Wind blows the ponytail thousands of lines

This first couplet describes the real scenes you see and hear, and the second is to try and inspire the crown prince again. Zhu Yunwen was still young at that time. Although he was smart and studious, he didn't understand the emperor's grandfather, so he answered correctly.

Rain hits wool and a piece of felt

Although the couplets are neat, they are weak, powerless, have no temperament, lack artistic conception, lack of beauty, and are completely the words of a little naughty boy. After hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang frowned and his face was gloomy. Zhu Di saw his father's thoughts and hurriedly said to Zhu Yunwen, then Zhu Yunwen looked at the dragon robe on the emperor's body and re-exacted the second couplet again:

Sunshine Dragon Scale Ten Thousand Points of Gold

Upon hearing this sentence, Zhu Yuanzhang immediately turned anger into joy and said repeatedly: "It's right, it's right!" From then on, he knew even more about his fourth son Zhu Di. When he left the racecourse, Zhu Yuanzhang repeatedly instructed Zhu Yunwen to have a demeanor whether he wrote poems or articles. If I entrust my country to you in the future, how can I guarantee the imperial power so weak?

Zhu Yuanzhang's original wife Ma was the first empress of the Ming Dynasty. He was known in history as Empress Xiaoci Gao. Empress Ma looked ordinary and never went to school when she was a child. Later, she followed Zhu Yuanzhang to fight in the east and west. However, this person was not virtuous, but he was also very studious. When he had free time, he asked for advice and read. After becoming the queen, he continued to ask the female officials to teach her every day and recorded many stories of famous women in history. Through her unremitting efforts, Empress Ma was able to not only read, but also write articles, write poems, make couplets, and help Zhu Yuanzhang organize official documents. Here, record some of the anecdotes of her and Zhu Yuanzhang's chanting with each other.

One night, Zhu Yuanzhang retreated to the inner palace, holding a black folding fan with a white dragon, paced back and forth, thinking about some things that had not been dealt with at that time. Empress Ma saw Zhu Yuanzhang working hard in the country like this and working hard, and immediately felt loving. In order to take good care of Zhu Yuanzhang's body and free him from his tiredness to think about the affairs of the court as soon as possible, he recited the first couplet with the title of the black folding fan held by Zhu Yuanzhang as the title:

Fans to draw the jade dragon, and the wind cannot call the rain

When Zhu Yuanzhang heard this exquisite couplet, his tiredness disappeared. He turned his head and looked at his beloved wife, smiled calmly, and while he was happy, he savored the sentence of Queen Ma. When he saw Queen Ma wearing a pair of green satin shoes embroidered with gold style, he immediately recited the second couplet:

Shoes embroidered with golden phoenix, the ground is so as to reach the sky

A wonderful couple was completed like this, and the couple laughed heartily.

There are still many folk couplets about Zhu Yuanzhang. If you have the chance in the future, you will give everyone the risks after continuing to sort them out!

There is no next chapter, let's take a look at something else first
