Chapter 238 Arrival of Alclin(2/2)

"Lord Ikrit's convoy has arrived, bringing newly mined warpstone."

"Is Ikrit really in danger this time?"

Esky shook his head, pinched his pale pink lips, and asked the slave rat kneeling next to him to pour him a glass of wine, letting the drink moisten his throat.

"It seems that he can only rely on me, but you are here, what should I do, or I will kill you."

Alklin laughed, and the mechanical replacement of his vocal cords made his laughter sound quite cold, but not as exciting as the average Skaven.

"Oh, my dear Eski Grand Engineer Warlock, I really want to ask, didn't you sell your butt to that rat man Iklit?"

Eski spread his paws and asked the slave rat to also serve Alclin a glass of wine.

"You first quote a price. How much can I get if the Parliament, to be precise, probably Congressman Werski controls the mine?"

As he spoke, he pushed a request form in Alklin's direction and said.

"I now find that I am a little short of money, maybe half a million Dimension Stone coins."

Alclin's originally dull mechanical sound became harsh.

"Five hundred thousand? You really think highly of yourself, my dear son."

Eski ignored him and looked at the messenger.

"How many boxes did Lord Ikrit bring here?"

The panicked little man, who was only about 1.3 meters tall, immediately ran out and came back panting after a while.

"Thirty."

Each box can hold more than 15,000 warpstone coins. Although it does not reach 500,000, it is very close.

Eski slapped himself on the head and mastered the mine's Ikrit. He may be short of other things, but he is not short of money.

In a sense, he can now even say that he is richer than the Horned Rat.

"With so many dimension stones, Alklin, it seems that I must intervene in this war."

"I had expected you to interfere."

"But what about Versky? After all, he is a congressman."

"You challenge him and then kill him."

"Me?!"

Alklin's mouth grew larger, revealing a set of iron teeth.

"Isn't it you?"

"Come on, Arclin, I've figured it out. I don't want to spend the rest of my life in the parliament hall of the big city. It will kill me."

"Then what..."

They were just about to continue talking when a group of rats in white robes walked into the council hall. The Skaven wearing a Nehekhara turban performed a complicated courtesy to Esky and cast his eyes on Alklin who was present.

"This is also an engineering warlock from the Skry clan, and he is also..."

Eski thought for a while, but couldn't find the word father in the language of the rat people, so he changed his words.

"He is also the breeder who raised me."

He waved his hand to indicate to his subordinates not to worry, so the white-robed rat lowered his head.

"General Ablash of Lahmia is willing to contact us. He is the champion warrior of Lahmia and is not very controlled by Alkadiza."

As he spoke, a map of Lahmia City filled with colorful markers was sent to Eski.

"He said, vampires are willing to set up a simple embassy here with us?"

Esky nodded repeatedly.

"Vampire? Very good, very good, double happiness."

After thinking for a while, the engineering warlock pointed to the east side of another nearby terrain map on the table.

"But this embassy cannot be known to the Gray Prophets. It is built in a cave on the east coast that has no tunnels and is connected by sea."

In the metal piece next to Alclin's eyes, the gear rotated several times and made a harsh sound

"My dear son, are you trying to please me by exposing this secret to me?"
