Chapter 5 Table Manners(2/2)

After losing the cover of the notebook, a high-backed chair appeared in Jason's field of vision.

There are no unnecessary carvings, but it gives it a sense of simplicity.

At the same time, a figure made entirely of darkness began to appear on the high quilt chair.

The sound of swallowing echoed in Jason's ears.

The black shadow stretched out his hands and took the knife and fork.

"I was really treated as food!"

The facts before him made Jason struggle violently. Although he was still unable to move, his consciousness was not restrained, and his soul was screaming.

I don't want to die!

Stay alive!

I want to live!

I don't want to be treated as food!

The continuous, high-pitched voice echoed in that special soul.

Buzz!

Buzz!

The echoes over and over again made Jason's brain buzz.

That is the resonance imprinted in the deepest part of the soul!

The talent named [Predator] appeared on Jason's retina, beating violently and flashing like a bright star.

The images of the next scene of stars began to appear, and they were connected together, like a Milky Way rising into the sky!

That is--

Groups of people, wearing animal skins, shouting and chasing monsters with extremely large sizes in the world!

Everyone is smaller than a monster's toe.

But no one backed down.

They want to live!

To survive!

They want...

eat!

Flames appeared in the collision of stones. The tall and strong leader raised the fire that illuminated the darkness. The flames collided with the monsters, and an unprecedented fragrance filled the battlefield.

Ancient roars came from people's mouths.

eat!

Eat, eat!

The roar changed from high to low.

From a low voice to a whisper.

The murmur came from Jason's mouth.

"Eat! Eat! Eat!"

A burning feeling of hunger spread from my stomach.

Hungry!

So hungry!

I want to eat!

I want to eat!

Goo!

Goo!

Goo!

The growling of the stomach covered up the sound of the black shadow swallowing saliva. One, two, three times. When these hungry cries merged into one, it was like thunder. The black shadow was about to hold the knife and fork and stopped suddenly.

The rule that determined the position of both parties based on hunger was completely reversed at this moment.

"No!"

With a desperate roar, the black shadow collapsed and was instantly sucked into the dark brown notebook.

The next moment, the dark brown notebook floating above Jason's head paused.

Snapped!

It closed suddenly.

Then, he just fell down and fell directly into Jason's arms.

The huge force brought Jason down.

However, he didn't fall on the dinner plate.

But a chair!

He sat in that quaint high-backed chair.

In his field of vision, a round, equally simple dining table with dark tablecloth and silver tableware appeared one by one.

The previous scene was reversed at this moment!

Food becomes the eater.

The black notebook that fell into his arms floated in front of him again.

But this time, lines of text gradually emerged beneath the original text.

[Isn’t the beauty of hunting the exchange of food at any time? 】

The words paused here, and then more words began to emerge.
