Chapter 4 Nagata(2/2)

In the afternoon, when two people went up the stairs

"That place in Uqbar... there is no such thing as stairs." Nagata said with some difficulty.

"Sounds really good." Shoji, who was climbing the stairs, subconsciously agreed. He just wanted to complain that the stairs were too high.

"However, because there are many high towers floating in the sky, we have to climb very long ladders when we go up." Nagata was still chattering.

But Shoji saw a mother and daughter on the upper floor looking at them as if they were mentally ill patients.

At noon, they found a place to rest

"Old man, you can actually hold on. My feet are so weak now that I can't straighten my waist." Shoji sighed. The morning's work was extremely heavy, and even a young man like himself couldn't bear it.

.

He has a good sense of Nagata-senpai. At least Nagata-senpai didn't use his status as a senior to ask him to move more things. Even Nagata drove the car himself.

In response to Shoji's complaint, Nagata just laughed twice.

"Aren't you tired?" Shoji was a little confused about Nagata's laughter.

"Driving around many towns like this, maybe we can find our way back to Uqbar that day." Nagata said with a smile.

Shoji's smile faded, and he realized at this time that the old man was probably serious. Uqbal was probably real in the old man's memory, but this matter seemed too unbelievable to them.

"Isn't it? The reason why I am on the earth means that the earth and Uqbal must be connected somewhere." Nagata shook the cup with both hands, obviously interested in Shoji's willingness to listen to what he said about Uqbal.

Somewhat excited.

Shoji began to think about how he could help this senior prove that he was from Earth.

"Okay, let's go, let's go to work." Nagata covered the cup and asked Shoji to get in the car.

When working in the afternoon, Nagata was still telling everything about Uqbal. But Shoji no longer had the brain to think about Uqbal. He was tired, and the heavy work had filled his mind.

On the way back, "I believe there must be Uqbar, because it is my hometown."

"Yes, yes, Uqbal must have it. It's in your mind, old man." Shoji, who had been tired for a day, was no longer in the mood to listen to this senior's nagging. Now he just wanted to tell the master to stop reading.

.

Upon hearing this, Nagata looked at Shoji blankly, and the light in his eyes faded.

At this moment, Nagata noticed that the car was driving directly towards a construction site without slowing down at all.

"Old man, it's dangerous, be careful!"
