Chapter 2 Red pupils 【Minor Repair】

In the wilderness outside Lingyang City, a huge scorch pit appeared.

The destructive power caused by the giant thunder that appeared out of thin air was astonishing, but fortunately, the place where it was struck was deserted.

After the thick smoke in the huge pit dissipated, a looming figure appeared at the bottom of the pit. It seemed that he had just gotten up from the ground and was still a little dazed.

It was already close to dawn, and it was also the darkest time of the day. The man stood quietly at the bottom of the huge pit, and suddenly raised his head slowly.

The moon, which was mostly covered by dark clouds, gradually revealed its figure at this moment, and actually gathered into a moon-white beam of light, which shone on the man and revealed his face.

She was a young woman with a small face, delicate facial features, and long hair as black as a waterfall. She was an extremely beautiful beauty. Although she was dressed in shabby clothes, she could not conceal her innate elegance.

However, under the moonlight, those blood-red eyes looked slightly strange, and it also clearly showed that she was not human.

"Ha..." The woman suddenly opened her mouth slightly and laughed, "Hahahahaha..." The laughter became more and more violent, with a joyful and unruly tone.

Not far away, at the edge of the woods, a middle-aged man wearing a strange robe and a young man with a bun were watching everything clearly.

The middle-aged man's face was pale and his expression was solemn, and even the hand holding the young man was trembling slightly.

The young man had never seen such a master before, and he was slightly scared, but he did not dare to speak.

"Who?!" Suddenly, the laughing woman tilted her head slightly and directed her sharp gaze at the master and apprentice. In the blink of an eye, the figure in the huge pit disappeared.

Looking up again, the woman was already within a foot of the two of them.

The middle-aged man looked at the woman in front of him, as if he hadn't recovered yet.

"Master...fu..." The young man looked at the red-eyed woman in front of him tremblingly, and couldn't help but tugged on the master's skirt. This sister is so scary!

The woman was holding an ancient silver sword in her hand, and her long black hair was flying quietly behind her. She raised her bare hand slightly, and the long sword in her hand disappeared.

The woman looked the middle-aged man up and down and saw that his robe was embroidered with strange and complicated patterns with gold and silver threads. She slightly raised her eyebrows and asked, "A human sacrifice?"

The middle-aged man seemed to have finally come to his senses. He looked at the woman and couldn't help but swallowed, "Here... I'm here..."

"Where is this?" The woman looked a little troubled, and her water-red eyes also showed a hint of confusion.

"Uh..." The middle-aged man was puzzled, but he saw the woman's red pupils looking at him for a moment, a little nervous, "Lingyang City..."

The woman tilted her head slightly, and her waterfall of black hair swayed slightly with her movements. Movements that ordinary girls would do that were particularly cute were indescribably weird on her body.

"Master...Master..." The young man had been holding on to his master's collar and hiding on the other side, secretly watching the sister who fell from the sky.

He had an almost animal-like intuition, which told him that the sister in front of him was terrifying! But he still couldn't help but be curious.

The woman didn't seem to have much reaction, just letting him look at her.

"Lingyang City..." The woman murmured to herself for a while, and then asked, "What dynasty?"

"The thirty-sixth year of the Apocalypse."

The woman frowned slightly, seemingly dissatisfied, and glanced at the master and apprentice.

The middle-aged man led his apprentice back and looked at the woman in front of him warily. This woman had such a strong aura that he couldn't even think of a trace of resistance when facing her. Who knew if she would do it on a whim?

Kill the two of you and silence them!?

However, he was overly preoccupied. The woman was not interested in them at all. Instead, she turned to look at the tall city wall not far away and narrowed her eyes slightly.

A strong wind blew by, and the middle-aged man and his young apprentice couldn't help but close their eyes. When they opened them again, there was nothing in front of them.

"Master?" The young man looked up at his master in confusion, wondering what kind of situation this was.
