Chapter 55 Dunn and Evan (1)
Chapter 55: Tang En and Evan (Part 1)
It rained for a week, intermittently, and the sky finally cleared up on Monday morning. For Britain, which is about to enter winter, such weather is particularly worth cherishing, especially in a city like Nottingham where the weather is always strange. You don’t know when the sun above you will be re-hideed by the clouds and then it will start to rain.
There are water droplets hanging on the leaves on the roadside, reflecting the morning sunshine, as if diamonds left among the trees, which is the best proof of the rain all night last night.
Tang En stood outside the chairman's office building in the club's training base, and through this building was the first team's training ground. Des Walker's roar kept ringing, and the whistle kept ringing. It was estimated that Collimore did not appear on the sidelines today. The incident of being beaten the day before yesterday gave him a reason to have a holiday for himself.
Evan actually found such a waste to be the head coach. I really don't know what he was thinking.
I saw my messy hair in the glass window. After getting up in the morning, I just dashed it with my hands and went out. Half of the collar of my shirt was exposed outside, and the other half was pressed inside. Fortunately, the buttons on the collar were not tied wrongly... He turned out the collar and flicked his hair with his hands towards the glass window. He found that there were a few strands standing tenaciously, like chicken feathers on the head of the Indian chief.
He looked at the golden water droplets on the surrounding plants, reached out and wiped the leaves a few times, wet his hands, and continued to scatter his hair. Now he was ready.
Looking at himself reflected in the glass window, Tang En smiled with satisfaction. It has been almost a year since he has fully accepted his body and appearance. He looked at the mirror all day long and felt it was pleasing to him.
After all this, Tang En turned around and walked into the small building. Then he saw a young woman walking around and twisting her butt, wearing a navy blue professional outfit, so sexy. The woman walked over from Tang En quickly. Tang En's gaze also turned back with her, and the red curly hair jumped slightly with the woman's walking, like a ball of flame.
When did such a female employee appear in the club? Tang En then realized that he seemed to have been away from the center of the club for too long and felt that he was slowly becoming unfamiliar.
The woman who was walking and twisting her butt suddenly stopped and turned around to look at Tang En. This action scared Tang En so much that she forgot to retract her gaze.
The woman was not angry about it, and she smiled professionally at Tang En: "Is it Mr. Tony Tang En?"
Tang En nodded blankly.
"Are you here to find Mr. Dogerty?"
Tang En nodded again, his eyes stopped on the other party's chest. He still forgot to take it back. The deep mountain that towered into the clouds was the point where the sight finally disappeared...
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Dogerty is not in his office now."
"Oh...ah?" Tang En finally returned to normal. He moved his gaze to the woman's face, with a medium-sized appearance and a good figure. "Where has he been?"
The woman shook her head gently, and the flame began to rush again. “Mr. Doggetti didn’t tell me, sir, have you made an appointment with him?”
Tang En shook his head: "No, I just... suddenly remembered to look for him. Didn't he say when he would come back?"
"No. Sir. Do you need to go to Mr. Dotig's office and wait?"
"Okay, I'll wait a moment." Tang En thought that there was Chris Lak watching over the youth team anyway, and there was nothing to worry about in training.
"Please, Mr. Tang En." The woman returned to lead the way, so Tang En was able to appreciate the woman's walking style again...
The woman took Doneen to Dogtty's office. She put down a glass of boiling water and said goodbye. Doneen called her.
"This...well, this lady, I have never seen you before. Are you new here?"
The lady smiled and nodded: "Yes, Mr. Donne. I am Mr. Dotig's personal secretary, Barbara Lucy. You can call me Barbara."
"Miss Barbara, are you not British, are you?" Lucy said in American English.
"No, sir. I am from Liverpool, but I have been living there since I studied in the United States."
"oh. "
"Mr. Tang En, is there anything else?"
"Uh, I think... it should be gone."
"Then I'll say goodbye first. Goodbye. Mr. Tangen." Barbara Lucy said goodbye to Tangen politely, turned around and walked out.
Tang En looked at her bringing the door, then shrugged and curled her lips to imitate Lucy's tone of speaking, saying to herself: "Hello, sir. No, sir. OK, sir. Thank you, sir. Goodbye. sir... Are British robots exported to domestic sales? Hey!"
When Tang En was the only one left in the spacious office, he could finally take a look at the place. The boss put a brand new computer on his desk, which made the ancient room full of modern atmosphere. There are many such changes, which are very different from what he saw last time.
He still remembers when he last walked into this place - he had just traveled to the Forest team a few days ago when he was asked to go to London for a hearing because he was ill-telled about the FA and then here. Old Dottig said to him with a smile:
"Don't worry, Tony. The club will support you with all your strength."
Half a year later, the old man who supported him threw the burden to his son due to physical reasons, and at the time he drove for Evan Dogette, who was driving for him on the way to London.
Support me?
This is quite sarcastic now. Support my words, did you ever give me a formal contract when I led the team to win five consecutive victories? Support my words, did you ever give me a comforting phone call when the team failed in the play-offs, and then repeat the previous sentence?
There is nothing.
Old man, you have never seriously considered my future from the beginning. Everyone can write a blank check. Thinking about the experience in the first half of the year, I am so stupid. I was led by a carrot tied to a stick and ran away from the place without stopping... I should have patted my butt, and turned around and left this place casually.
but……
Tang En thought of the tombstone in the cemetery standing quietly behind the chapel.
…Nottingham Forest’s most loyal fans, George Wood’s eternal supporter…
Old man, and Evan... Do you think I chose to stay because of my great love and loyalty to this club?
If I were the only one, I could leave at any time, it would be no big deal! But there are two children here that I care about - one is smart and the other is silent and honest. I can't rest assured that they are. Although one has been asleep under the ground, the other is still alive!
Tang En took a deep breath to calm down his mood.
Downstairs Des Walker's angry roar flew in through the open window: "Please cheer me up! Look at what you look like?! You are not even as good as amateur players!"
Tang En stood up and walked to the window, lifted the curtains, intending to see what the first team's usual training was like. As a result, what he saw made him shake his head and sigh.
Almost everyone was listless and absent-minded on the training ground. Even the team's captain Michael Dawson lost his strong fighting spirit, his eyebrows were deep and his pace was slow.
I have worked hard to restore the team's fighting spirit and confidence. You have to do whatever you want to do and let the team return to before liberation overnight!
Looking at the scene on the training ground, Tang En really wanted to rush up and kick the butts of those professional players one by one. They are not as cute as the young men of the youth team.
Des Walker yelled a few times, and he was helpless to stop doing such useless work. The team is now sixth to the end, unable to win for eight consecutive rounds, and his morale is no longer depressed. Even the stocks of the Forest team in the stock market have been affected and have fallen sharply. What can he, as an assistant coach, do?
That guy Boye is so lucky to keep the last and most beautiful memory in the forest in his heart, and don’t have to see such an infuriating Nottingham Forest!
Tang En didn't want to watch it anymore. He found that he had been waiting for so long and Evan didn't show up. Only then did he know where he was going. Maybe he just deliberately couldn't hide and didn't want to see him!
Donne, who pushed the door out, almost ran into Miss Barbara Lucy. Fortunately, he hid fast enough, otherwise he would have burned the cup of steaming coffee.
"Dingdang! Crash!" The ceramic cup fell on the floor, made a crisp sound and cracked into pieces, and the fragrant black coffee flowed all over the floor.
"Ah! I'm sorry, sorry, Mr. Tang! You didn't burn it? Didn't you get dirty? Didn't you?" Miss Lucy screamed in panic, at a loss, and her voice changed.
Tang En laughed: "Of course I'm fine, but it's a pity that cup of coffee... are you going to send it to me?"
"Yes, sir. I'm worried that you've been waiting for too long..."
Lucy squatted on the ground to pick up fragments, and Tang En leaned over to help.
"It's okay, I'm already planning to leave." Tang En put the pieces of the cup in his hand into the tray, then clapped his hands and stood up.
