Chapter 6 The Green Forest Hero(2/2)

What a coincidence!

Tang En didn't wait in his office for too long. About ten minutes later he received a call from the doorman.

"Sir, he is here!" The young guard's voice was a little excited. Through the phone line, Tang En could still hear the noise outside, and the screams of the women came one after another.

He is a young man after all, and he can't hold back.

Tang En simply responded. Then he hung up the phone. He did not get up and went out to greet the door. He didn't want everyone to think that this person was very special, and for this reason he even asked Evan and Allen not to leave their office and join in the fun.

Tang En turned the chair halfway and looked at the training ground outside the huge floor-to-ceiling window. The players were training for lap-stop training - or, in other words, punishment. Because the team was late, they were punished to run lap.

However, since the training subjects in the past few days have been physically recovered. So there is no problem with this training.

Tang En had a long time ago about how to introduce this highly anticipated new teammate to them.

Five minutes later, a knock on the door sounded behind him.

Tang En stood up, turned around and looked at the door: "Please come in."

The man who was pampered with all his heart walked in with apologetically: "I'm so sorry, so sorry... I'm not very familiar with Nottingham's traffic and almost got lost..." Next to him was his agent Simon Fuller, a middle-aged man dressed well and looked very smart.

"You have to drive by yourself. If you call the club to pick you up, that's great, David." Don said to Beckham in front of him, and then he shook hands with Fuller's agent. He didn't have a deep conversation. Because of a series of things in contract negotiations, he knew this agent half a year ago and did not need to greet and greet very enthusiastically. The agent is not the protagonist in his office.

"Ha. I lived in Spain for four years, and I thought Britain was the same... What should I call you, from now on?"

"Privately - Tony. Just be so kind to the front of his teammates, it's so kind." Tang En walked around the table and walked forward. "Let's go, I'll take you to get to know them." He pointed to the floor-to-celebration window behind him.

Beckham's eyes were cast, then nodded, and walked out with Don't say a word. Fuller continued to follow the two of them without saying a word. He intentionally kept a certain distance so that Beckham and Don't have to worry about the embarrassment of having a third party present.

"It's not as good as Real Madrid's Baldbes Sports City, but all kinds of facilities are complete and everything is available." Along the way, Donn introduced the situation of the Wilford training base when he saw Beckham.

Beckham is naturally very good at being a compliment. He has come out of the European championship at such a training base, and head coach Don Eun is amazing...

When the Forests players finally finished running laps, they were exhausted and panting. While resting on the sidelines, a sharp-eyed man saw three people walking in from outside. One of them was Tony Tangen, the head of the middle-aged man who was familiar with, and the other middle-aged man had no impression and was automatically ignored. Everyone's attention was soon focused on one person - David Beckham, who was walking beside Tangen and chatting with him, chatting and laughing.

He was no longer dressed in casual clothes. Tang En took him to the locker room of the training base and assigned him a cabinet for him to use. He changed his training clothes and went straight to here.

The players who were resting on the sidelines did not stand up and line up. They sat and continued to sit while resting, and they should lie down while resting. They should just turn around and stop chatting and look at their new teammates.

Tang En was very satisfied with the players' performance. It seemed that his subordinates did not have blind star-chasing people.

Only Wood deliberately walked out of the crowd and stood in the front, which was indicating his identity. He followed Albertini to learn about the land. When the Forest team had new teammates, it was also brought by Donn, and then Albertini received it.

Beckham knows Wood. He still remembers the cute boy who was substituted in the World Cup against Portugal. He smiled friendly to Wood.

Seeing that everyone was focusing their attention on their side, Tang En pointed to Beckham next to him.

"Your new teammate, professional player David Beckham." He specifically emphasized the word "professional player".

This is the way he introduced it. He didn't say that this was the famous star, nor did he say that he was the darling in the eyes of advertisers. No matter what achievements you have outside, he was very loyal. After entering Wilford, his territory was his player and professional player.

After saying that, he turned his head to observe Beckham's reaction. Beckham showed no dissatisfaction. He smiled and said hello to everyone: "Hi guys, I'm glad we can play football together in the future."

In fact, he is very grateful to Tang En for introducing him like this. What did he come to the Forest Team for? Isn’t it just to prove to the world that his true identity is a player, not an advertising model or an actor…

Everyone on the training ground was gathered here, with players and coaches gathering around Beckham.

Chris Lack introduced all the coaches of the Forest team's coaching staff to Beckham one by one to help him get to know the team and know who to ask if he has any questions.

Next...

"George." Done reminded Wood, who was standing next to him, hesitant.

Wood finally stood up. He said to Beckham in a normal tone: "I'll introduce you to...teammates." As a result, he sounded a little cold.

Fortunately, Beckham and Wood have been in the England national team for a summer. He knew the person's personality and temper, and he didn't care. He happily asked Wood to lead him to know the players of the Forest team one by one.

Everyone was very enthusiastic and did not show any unpleasantness.

After the stage of mutual understanding ended, Tang En spoke.

"The rest time is over, guys, go back to the training ground."

The players stood up and walked towards the training ground.

Beckham also wanted to follow him. But Tang En stopped him: "Wait, David."

"Hmm? Is there anything wrong, boss?" Beckham quickly entered the role he was under Tangen.

"Well..." Tang En scratched his head, and he had been thinking about what he wanted to say since he introduced the coach to Beckham. He was a little worried. But he had to say that this is team discipline. Tang En attaches great importance to discipline and cannot ignore it just because the person he offended was Beckham. In that way, he would have no prestige in the team.

He looked up at the players who were standing not far away. Obviously these people knew about it, and were waiting to watch the show. A group of cunning brats!

"That's right, David. The Forests has a tradition that has risen since I became the head coach of this team. That is, any player who is late in training will be punished to run the lap. "Donn looked at Beckham's eyes, making his eyes look very sincere. "You just saw them being exhausted and breathless?" He pointed to the players watching the show there, "It's just that they were finished running the lap. Rest here. They were waiting for you in the parking lot, but they were collectively late."

What he told the truth, and the only one who survived was Anelka, who was indifferent to Beckham and was determined to leave.

Beckham turned his head to look at the players, then looked at Donn again.

"You're late, too, so... you have to go to the lap, eight laps." Tang En said, looking at Beckham quietly.

This made the agent Fuller, who was standing aside, feel a little dissatisfied. His player is the famous David Beckham. Besides, being late was not intentional, and they didn't know anything about it in advance... He thought Don Eun was doing a bit too much. What is this? Give my players a warning?

He had just taken a step forward.   When he saw Beckham wink at him.

"No problem, boss." Beckham shrugged, "I also had this rule when playing football at Real Madrid, but we don't have to run the lap."

"What's the punishment?" Chris Lack, who was interested in the inside story of the wealthy family, asked first.

"A free kick." Beckham blinked and smiled sly.

A group of people burst into laughter, and the awkward atmosphere just now was alleviated.

Amid laughter, Beckham turned around and ran to the circle. His agent waited for Beckham to run away and walked to Donn to question him.

Don Eun spoke first: "I know what you are going to ask me, Mr. Fuller. But I hope you understand that David is still a professional player now, and he also hopes people think so. I am just doing what a head coach should do to professional players. Do you hope that the negative news of "David Beckham playing big names and making special" will appear in the media the next day?"

"Well……"

"Of course I won't gossip on the media, but you can't guarantee that no one among these people will dislike everything David Beckham has obtained..." He muttered, "You have to know, Mr. Fuller, I'm helping David Beckham. If David is a smart person, he can understand...and obviously he is a smart person. He did a good job, so he can't find any problems, and he won the support and trust of his teammates. What else do you have to worry about, Mr. Fuller?"

Simon Fuller said this and said nothing, and he had to admit in his heart that Tang En's actions made sense.

Beckham ran around the training ground, and Eastwood followed, pretended to run with him, and then approached him.

"David?"

"Ah. Are you... Freddy Eastwood?" Beckham had a good memory. Wood only reported everyone's name once, and he could quickly meet his name and face in his heart.

"Just call me Freddy." Eastwood blinked, "They also called me Gipsey boy, but I'm never angry!"

Beckham smiled.

"Are you free at night, David?"

"Well...yes." Beckham thought for a while, there was really nothing else that needed to be busy with, and... he had to turn it off even if he was busy. He was very smart and already knew what the signal was.

"That's good." Eastwood snapped his fingers. "Everyone has prepared a welcome party for you, have a drink, chat and have fun."

"For me?"

"It's like a free run. This is also our tradition." Eastwood smiled happily, "Any new player will have... Of course, that new player must be recognized by all of us."

This is the truth. Such a welcome party must have been prepared long ago. However, it is usually the last moment before the summer transfer market closed in the pre-season training camp. At that time, the Forest team generally did not introduce new players. After a period of time and getting along with each other, they would consider holding this welcome party. If the newcomer is not popular, they will not be invited to attend. Fortunately, in the past few years, only Anelka has not been invited. He was indeed not very popular when he first came.

"Boss... are they going?" Beckham glanced at Donn, who was talking to his agent.

"No, neither the coach nor the staff will go. We don't invite them. They are not allowed to go. This is a gathering for our players. Are you looking for some to lose?"

Beckham nodded: "Okay! I'm so glad to be invited to attend. Does this mean I'm... accepted? Like a Green Forest hero?"

"Yes! We're in the same group now!"

Both of them laughed.

Chris Lack's loud voice sounded from a distance: "Freddy Eastwood! What are you doing? Training is here, here!" He waved his arms vigorously, looking aggressive.

Eastwood was not afraid of him, he responded with a sharp voice: "Ah! I remember that when I ran away just now, I was lazy and ran less. Now I make up for it! I can't let David perform alone, I'm also a professional player!"

Everyone on and off the training ground laughed. Even Chris Lak, who had a fierce look on his face just now, couldn't help laughing. He then grinned, muttering: "This little bastard!"

Looking at the group of players who laughed. Beckham remembered that on the way to the Forest training base, his agent Simon Fuller asked him if he knew what was going on in the Forest team? He could shake his head and said he didn't know. He really didn't know much about the inside of this team. His impression of this team came from his good friend Tony Donne. Before he officially became a member of the Forest team, Donne had never told him the mainland story. He could only use his four years of experience in Real Madrid to imagine his life in Nottingham in the next two years. After all, it was the closest life he had to do with his current life.

Now he feels...this must be a completely different feeling than being in Real Madrid.

Donn was still talking to Fuller that he wanted to let the agent understand his ideas and ensure that there would be no misunderstandings in the middle. After all, the person this agent could influence is not only David Beckham, but also Beckham's wife, the unstable factor Victoria Beckham. Because he was once the agent of the "hot girl" group, he had a good personal relationship with Victoria.
