18. The King of Shannan Escapes

During the fierce battle, Zhou Ziping, the Duke of Yu of Dingwu Army, was always very calm. Every three hours of the battle, he asked several subordinates to set off beacons on time, which was equivalent to sending emergency alarms to the Qingzhou border on the other side of the Great Wall Ridge.

Finally, in the northeast of the wall, Siba Dayan, whose bowstrings were broken, heard the low voices of his personal soldiers beside him, and was surprised and joyful. On the high hill on the Great Wall Ridge on the south side of Baijing Shu, there were large swaths of dust raised among the grass, sand and soil mixed with blue-gray and ochre yellow. Hundreds of "cavalry" were wearing armor and pulled into gray-black "belts" and went there, and the raised flags were particularly eye-catching.

Then the belt became longer and wider, three hundred and five hundred, and finally nearly a thousand cavalrymen occupied the high-rise, facing the fork in the valley leading to Baijingshu.

In fact, this is not a cavalry, it is all mule soldiers from Xingyuan Mansion. In this terrain, the gentle and agile mules are actually faster than the war horses.

"The reinforcements from the Tang Dynasty are here!"

In the Baijing Guard Line, the excited Dingwu Army and Qiang Renyi cheered from one place after another, like thunder, and then they screamed with beast-like howlings. Their mentality of suppressing fear was clearly being sieged and suppressed fear was completely released at this moment. They stood up, and their fingers, which were blood-stained by bowstrings, poured endless power again, and pulled the strings and shot arrows frantically. The raindrop-like arrows flew down the hillside. The six palaces, which were originally surrounded by tides, were immediately shot into a large area, and then left behind in panic like a receding tide.

On the opposite Tongsha Ridge, Prince Nixiang didn't know when the Tang army's mule soldiers rushed to the Great Wall Ridge? He asked the six palaces that blocked or posted on the periphery, but did not perform their duties at all. When the small outpost team of Tang army reinforcements appeared in their sight, they did not contact each other at all, nor did they call the police to the supreme commander "King of Shannan" Prince Nixiang, but rushed forward to fight. As a result, the subsequent infantry and mule soldiers of the Tang army caught up and defeated them one by one.

So now the Mule Army has reached the mouth of the Great Wall Ridge, which is only three or four miles away from Tongchao Ridge and Baijing Shu.

Prince Nixiang waved the blue flag.

He organized six or seven thousand party members to attack and reinforce the mule army.

As a result, before the team could fight with the Mule Army, the second general of the Dingwu Army appeared at the entrance of the valley. The formation was blocked at the entrance of the valley, and the palladium rockets were launched continuously. The thunder-like sound and the smoke filled the mountain, which shook the grounds of the six governments camped around Baijing Shou, which were shocked to fight two battles.

As a result, at dusk, two or three thousand Dingwu infantrymen drove 7,000 Dangxiang rebels out of the valley. The mule army took advantage of the situation and then rushed to chase and cut off many heads. Then they occupied the hillside with a stream and surrounded them. The infantry dragged and pushed the vehicles and laid them on the slope every other section. They tied a short spear in the middle to form a horse-resisting bridle to form a semicircular camp fort, echoing Baijing Shuyao.

The angry and embarrassed Prince Nixiang pulled up more than 10,000 rebels from Qiang after the night, divided them into ten tribes, trying to take the lead in attacking the second general of the Dingwu Army with his absolute number advantage.

At this time, it was the Tang Bing and Qiang Renyi on Baijing Shu that were "watching the play":

The wheels of the vehicles in the camp were buried in the soil, and dazzling fire crows were constantly shot out from the inside. Each round of shooting was not only like thunder, but also the mountains and valleys were illuminating the gathering of party soldiers and horses. Then there were continuous rockets shot out from the array. Each rocket was carrying a twenty-month or thirty-month rocket on his back. There were reserves in the car, and it was full of fire rain, which was both terrible and beautiful.

From the fierce battle at the You hour to the Zi hour, the Dangxiang rebels finally retreated and calmed down.

In the fire at night, the ashes rising up everywhere.

By the time of Yin, Dangxiang tried his best to launch a fierce attack, but was soon repelled.

When the sun began to illuminate the canyon and mountainous areas, several Tang soldiers behind the chariots were holding their pills in their hands tiredly. They saw that their teeth were burning black and were within reach. The bodies of the rebels and Qiang horses were lying on the hillside. Some were shot to death by the pills rockets, some were assassinated by swords, long scepters, bows and crossbows, and more than a thousand were killed.

On the other side, Siba Dayan, who was lying behind the wall and watching the scene, had a passionate thought in his heart. Without covering up, he said to his relatives beside him, "If I get this magic of divine thunder, I can dominate the country!"

Before he finished speaking, more horns sounded at the Great Wall Ridge.

Under the dazzling autumn, the battle flags of the Tang army were raised in more and more valleys, and the sound of the battle drums of the Tang army echoed.

Gao Gu led the first general of the Dingwu Army and Hou Lan led the fifth general of the Dingwu Army. After receiving the warning from Li Xian, he also rushed to help!

Prince Nixiang had no intention of fighting and took the lead in leading his troops from Tongqiaoling Mountain to escape to Jin Mingdao to the east. Two or three thousand party Xiang Fan fell one after another, and abandoned Baijingshu like a tsunami, and was defeated one after another!

Xu Si led 800 mule soldiers to charge back and rushed to seven camps in a row, killing 1,300 heads, and arrested nearly 3,000 Dangxiang women, children and elderly people in the camp. The generals of the Dingwu Army and the Baijing guards also rushed out and fought everywhere, and also made great achievements. Prince Nixiang retreated all the way to Luzi Pass, and then stopped. He was still scared and built a fortress on the left and right mountains of the pass, thinking that it was a way to defend.

Next, the Tang army did not enter the Luziguan Tumen, but turned around and set up a camp in Qingzhou and Jinming's place to rush to Baibaochuan. Soon Gao Yue's command, Shi Yuhou, arrived and asked the three generals' troops to build a city on site and complete the construction within one month!

At the same time as the Battle of Baijingshu, the Tang army also marched to sweep the middle and south roads, both completing the predetermined goals, and began to build cities in Lianmaping and Pingdingchuan, with a deadline of one month.

"The enemy chief, Prince Nixiang, the king of Shannan, attacked Baijing Shu, but was invited by our Tang reinforcements to attack him and escaped from the defeat... In this battle, he transferred eleven places of Qiang Fortress, and captured 6,000 rebels of Qiang, and three roads were safe. Now I have built cities in Baijing Shu, Baibaochuan, Lianmaping and Pacifying Sichuan. It will be successful in one month. The ministers must work hard and strive to use the four cities as a basis to lead all the troops out of Jinming Road, and join Hunyu, Dai Xiuyan to join forces to fight, seeking the south of the mountain, and there will be no relic in Qiang in Weibei!" This is Gao Yue's memorial to the Daming Palace, which was submitted to the emperor after the approval of the commander-in-chief Tan Zhizhong and Dingwu Military Supervisor Ximen Can.

"Good!" The emperor was very happy and ate two extra pieces of corn cake for dinner.

At this moment, Princess Lingxu took the eaves and quietly led by several officials to the front hall where the emperor lived.

Outside, Song Ruohua, the eldest sister of the Song family, sat upright, and she served the emperor tonight.

After Princess Lingxu entered the Tao, she became a regular guest in the inner palace. Although Song Ruohua felt unsatisfied, the palace ban had rules for the palace ban, and even the eldest princess...

But Lingxu who came in was only talking about visiting His Ankang. After the announcement, Song Ruohua had no reason to stop him.
