Chapter 481: Mordekaiser's Blueprint(1/2)

The next evening, Lester and Kayn arrived as promised.

"Commander Lester, welcome." General Tomili welcomed them into the manor's living room as usual.

Lester looked around and saw that there was no one else in the living room except them.

"General Tomili." Lester asked calmly: "Didn't you say that a few friends are coming over today?"

"Haha." Tomili smiled and said: "Those friends are all good wine people, and they are still in the underground wine cellar of my house, admiring the wine cellar of our Tomili family."

"Underground wine cellar?" Lester secretly understood.

He said calmly: "Just right. I was also just wanting to see what other precious treasures you have, General Tomili."

"Then come with me." General Tomili smiled and nodded.

But he did not immediately set out to lead the way, but quietly turned his gaze to Kayn who was accompanying him.

Kayn tentatively looked at Lester. Lester said, "Just wait here for a while, Kayn."

"Yes." Kayn stepped aside calmly and found a place to sit down quietly.

"Commander Lester, please come this way." General Tomili finally set off, leading Lester out of the living room and slowly walked deeper into the manor.

The two left side by side under Kayn's silent gaze, without any butler or servant following them.

Soon, Lester came to the entrance of the underground wine cellar and saw the long staircase winding downwards.

There was no light at the other end of the stairs, and it was pitch black like it was leading to hell.

Standing in front of this darkness, Tomili suddenly said: "Lester, do you still remember the battle we fought in Shurima with General Dukecao?"

"Of course." Lester said.

Back then, he used thunderous means to mercilessly defeat and massacre a Shurima city-state that attempted to resist imperial rule, shocking the city-states on the north coast to the point where they no longer dared to resist.

It was a glorious moment in his career and a glorious medal for him as a hero of the Empire. Of course he will not forget it.

"This is the honor we gained by risking our lives." Tomili said with emotion: "In order to win that war beautifully, two of my brothers died in the battle. They are all heroes of the empire, just like you and me.

Same."

"But... Lester, you know what?"

Tomili paused slightly and said mockingly: "General Du Cacao has also written his memoirs in Zaun."

"He seems to have different ideas about this war that he personally directed and what we are doing."

"This..." Lester's face turned cold.

What the Noxian generals who have defected to Zaun like to do most is write memoirs.

And even if they write, they always add fuel and jealousy to their memoirs, blaming their superiors and colleagues at every turn, and describing themselves as white lotuses who can't help themselves and drift with the tide.

As a result, except for LeBlanc's "My First Half of Life" (which has not been published yet), which was personally reviewed by Levi, almost all of the other people's memoirs were written into semi-documentary first-person novels.

As a result, those imperial generals who had not yet surrendered wanted to fly to Zaun and tear their mouths out when they saw the articles written by these old colleagues.

"What did General Du Cucault write? Did he throw all the blame for the massacre on us?" Leicester asked displeased.

"That's not true." Tomili shook his head: "General Du Quecao is not that shameless."

"He just faithfully wrote down the details of that war, the role each of us played, and our 'great achievements' in Shurima - "

"In the voice of a sinner."

Tomili quietly emphasized the word "sinner".

Lester was silent for a moment.

"General Du Cacault has been treated favorably by the leader. But he is still a sinner in people's eyes."

"He may have to kneel in front of the Shurima barbarians who should be kneeling at our feet for the rest of his life, and confess his crimes over and over again."

"General Dukecao is like this, what about the others? What about us? We are also the heroes of Noxus, the biggest sinners in the eyes of the Wind Leader..."

"That's enough!" Lester couldn't bear to hear any more.

He looked with a cold face at the deep, hell-like underground and the darkness leading to the stairs: "Tomili, you don't need to be emotional."

"As long as I can come here today, I'm ready."

"Including..." Tomili also looked at the darkness in front of him: "Are you ready to go to hell?"

"Of course." Leicester said firmly: "I don't care who or what she is."

"I only know that I climbed all the way from the slums to this place on mountains of corpses and seas of blood, not to fall down again! No one can take away everything I have worked hard for! Not even God!"

"Okay!" Tomili nodded with satisfaction.

He did not step onto the stairs, but said to Lester encouragingly: "Go, the God's Envoy is waiting for you below."

Lester didn't hesitate at all, and strode down after hearing the words.

He walked down the long stairs, passed through the deep underground corridor, and finally saw an iron door at the end of the long corridor.

Lester pushed the door open decisively.

With hope, he looked at the world behind the door.

Then, he saw...

"Amistan?!" Lester froze on the spot in astonishment.

"Yes, it's me." Amystan welcomed with a smile: "I knew you would come, Lester - after all, you are the same person as us."

"..." Lester did not respond. He was still confused:

The so-called messenger of God, his last hope, turned out to be Amystan, the dead man who was guillotined by his own hands a year ago?

No...this is not a dead person, this is a dead ghost.

Although Amystan still retains her original image, her body has become an ethereal spirit that is always emitting gray fluorescence.

She is not a human being, she is an undead spirit.

But undead are not uncommon in Runeterra. When Lester passed by the waters of Bilgewater before, he killed many of them.

"Are you an envoy of God?" Lester's eyes were full of doubt.

Just you? Even if you become a ghost, I'm afraid you won't be that powerful, right?

"Ha." Amystan did not explain with words, but answered with actions.

She waved her hand gently, and an undead black mist surged with powerful magical energy emerged out of thin air.

"The desperate situation of reincarnation!" Black mist quickly enveloped this huge underground secret room, isolating the inside and outside of the door into two worlds.

Beyond the black mist is the world of the living, and within this black mist is the suffocating power of death.

In front of this power, mortals are so humble and insignificant.

"This, this..." Lester's body was trembling. He felt as if he had fallen into death purgatory in an instant, unable to resist, struggle, or escape from this desperate place.

"This kind of power..." He trembled with fear instinctively, then raised his head in surprise: "Where did you get it?"

"It seems you believe me." Amystan chuckled and waved her hand to disperse the black mist.

Then she answered seriously: "This power is a gift from my lord Mordekaiser."

There was a delicate silence.

The look of surprise that appeared on Lester's face instantly became stiff.

He was stunned for a while and then asked in shock: "Mordekaiser? The tyrant from thousands of years ago?"

"Yes." Amystan replied: "I am the envoy of His Majesty Mordekaiser. It was His Majesty who sent me back to the material realm from the underworld and asked me to make final preparations for his return."

Leicester now understood how Amystan became undead and how she came back to life.

Mordekaiser, who planned all of this behind the scenes, is indeed the mortal enemy of the Wind Leader, a god who can rival the goddess Janna.

However...

"You crazy people, you actually believe in Mordekaiser?" Leicester cursed through gritted teeth.

Now he couldn't wait to drag this cheater Tomili over and cut him into pieces to vent his hatred.

Are these nobles crazy?

In order to deal with the Wind Leader, he led the way for an evil god like Mordekaiser?

Who is Mordekaiser? He is a murderer, a perverted tyrant, and an extreme anti-human element who desires to turn everyone into undead slaves!

Do you still expect him to protect the interests of the nobles?

Two human beings are placed in front of this god of death. Will he care who is humble and who is noble?

If there is any choice that is stupider than turning to Mordekaiser, it can only be to lead the way for the Void.

Even if you are a commoner and a sinner under the rule of the Wind Leader, it is better than being an undead slave who will never be reincarnated under the rule of Mordekaiser!

Lester is reactionary, but he is not anti-human.

After all, he is also a member of the human race. Even if he kills others, which lunatic would be stupid enough to destroy his own clan?
To be continued...
