Chapter 209 Source of Confidence

After a long time, Felix retreated from the Thinking Hut.

From the outside world, he seemed to be in a daze for more than ten minutes, but Mrs. Longbottom held her breath and asked with her lips tremblingly: "How is it... I saw Frank suddenly stop moving."

Felix pinched his temples and sat on the chair next to him tiredly: "A huge project, but," he smiled brightly, "I have a way to treat it."

Old Mrs. Longbottom let out a depressing scream. She covered her mouth tightly, and her eyes were suddenly covered with mist. She took a few steps back and sat on the hospital bed. "Is that true, Professor Hayp? Mr. Hayp, I hope-oh, I don't want to ask too much, as long as they can remember something..."

"No, ma'am. I had a plan before I came, so I was either helpless or could be completely cured in theory."

Felix said in a relaxed tone: "Although I wouldn't be humble enough to say that, my biggest concern is to face a broken soul.

If this is true, even if I have received some guidance from a magician, they are still very likely to recover.

Fortunately, the worst situation did not happen. I just need to complete a puzzle, and maybe some emotional power…”

The old woman Longbottom calmed down and said cautiously: "Can I understand your therapy philosophy? After all, Frank and Alice have been sentenced to death by St. Mungo's most authoritative therapist..."

She originally wanted to keep these words in her heart and pretend to be trusting Felix so that she could spend several months with hope, but as a tough witch, she personally sent her son and daughter-in-law to the battlefield, she had her own persistence.

"Of course, please don't resist." Felix snapped his fingers again and pulled her into the thinking cabin.

After a while, she suddenly said with great enthusiasm, "This is the Thinking House, a powerful memory magic? It's a miracle. I already believe you can do it. I need to find Melianmu..."

"Oh, please don't do this for the time being, madam. I don't want too many people to know about this. It has not been successful yet, right? Not everyone will accept the fingers of outsiders." Felix said temptingly.

"You are right, Mr. Hepp." Mrs. Longbottom seriously considered his suggestions, and she did not want to make trouble and avoid interference from St. Mungo, but she was preparing to consult Dumbledore.

This has nothing to do with trust or not, but Dumbledore, as the founder of the Order of the Phoenix, has the right to know about this. Moreover, he can also help check for shortcomings and fill in the gaps.

"Mr. Hepp, in your opinion, how much time will it take to see the effect?"

"I can take one morning a week, and to be honest, I am willing to spend more time. This is really an interesting topic. Maybe after success, my thinking hut magic will reach an incredible level..."

Felix's voice gradually became low and he always believed that the house of Responsible Requests was Ravenclaw's "Word Hut", so he was always thinking about how to make it come to reality.

On the night when he restored the zoom spell and obtained the magic sphere, he touched a half-point of this realm - he pulled out thousands of magic symbols from the thinking hut, but this special state never succeeded again.

Now, he saw hope again.

Felix said to Mrs. Longbottom, "I can't guarantee the specific time, but I think they should be able to recognize their families around Christmas at the latest."

"I'm looking forward to it, Mr. Hepp, this is probably the best Christmas gift I've ever received in my life."

"I don't want to pour cold water, ma'am. But we'd better keep limited optimism so that accidents don't happen."

"This is your motto, always be alert? I thought of a friend who also has a pessimistic view of the future."

"No, I just prefer to create the future with my own hands."

...

When they walked out of the St. Mungo Magic Injury Hospital, the two discussed the matter about the artificial creation of magic riots. Felix had not yet considered it clearly, but he just provided some ideas in general.

"My approach may hurt Neville's feelings, so I have to get your approval." Felix said, feeling a little evil, but he still said it.

"If I hadn't had a certain understanding of you, I thought... and, aren't you worried that Neville would misunderstand you?" she couldn't help asking.

Felix shrugged, "I will ask for his forgiveness afterwards, and he will judge me whatever he wants."

Mrs. Longbottom looked at him with a complicated expression: "I may never understand a Slytherin's idea, even a good person like you. According to you, if you succeed, the child will inspire stronger talents, at least not much worse than others..."

She added: "And you may endure lifelong misunderstanding, Mr. Hayp, that child is more stubborn than you think."

Felix calmly reminded her: "Madam, I don't want to show my innocence. In fact, I'm discussing with you how to hurt a child to the greatest extent, even if it's just temporary."

"I'm his grandmother too, and I have a reason to do so, but you...what would they think of you if you were known to others? Some people would lash out at you, and I know that boring people."

"Yes, yes," Felix said softly, "but I won't stop just by scruples of others."

At his invitation, he and Mrs. Longbottom used phantom movement to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. The two walked all the way into the castle.

She looked at everything inside the castle nostalgic: "I was tripped by this spiral staircase when I was in school, and... I remember there was an ugly giant stone monster in front of Dumbledore's office."

They soon came to the "ugly giant stone monster" she said. Felix stretched out his magic wand, and a silver beam of light disappeared through the gap of the stone beast. After a while, the silver beam of light returned and turned into a silver-white swift.

It landed on Felix's shoulder, with his head high, and a crisp sound from his mouth: "Ice lemon juice."

The stone beast suddenly came alive, spiraling and moving away, revealing the spiral staircase on the inside.

"Let's go, Dumbledore is waiting for us." Felix said.

Pushing open a glittering oak door, Dumbledore was smiling at them, and he stood up from his chair, "Mrs. Longbottom, I am surprised by your arrival."

Old Lady Longbottom pursed her lips, "Dumbledore, I need your wisdom." She began to tell what they were talking about.

Dumbledore listened quietly, occasionally with a look of surprise, but he did not try to interrupt her. He waited until she finished speaking before he smiled and said, "So, I will soon see two old friends?"

"As for the artificially constructed magic riot..." He frowned and looked at Felix: "I have reminded you that any study of magic itself may lead to extremely dangerous results."

"I agree," insisted Mrs. Longbottom, "I believe that if he knew, he would make the same choice. But we cannot tell him in advance."

Dumbledore fell into silence. After a long time, he said with emotion: "Maybe I am too sensitive. Judging from my point of view, your approach is not very dangerous, although, this may..." He looked at Felix and asked a similar question: "Aren't you afraid of being misunderstood, Felix?"

Felix calmly said: "This is good for everyone, it's great for me, so I don't mind pushing it."

Dumbledore muttered in a low voice, and then he said, "Felix, you stay later, let's discuss this part in detail. As for Mrs. Longbottom, you..."

"I'll go find Neville," she said vigorously, "bring him to buy a new wand--through Minerva's fireplace, go and return."

The door behind him was closed.

Dumbledore's expression became serious. He stared at Felix and said in a deep voice: "Are you sure about the treatment of the Longbottoms? To be honest, after the tragedy, I tried to sew their broken memories many times, but the Longbottoms' situation was too bad and I was helpless."

Felix chuckled in a low voice, "President Dumbledore, I have received selfless help from Ms. Royna Ravenclaw..."

For him, in addition to the magic of the Thinking House, there is another thing he did not disclose to Mrs. Longbottom, which is the memory node, or the soul node, inherited from Ms. Ravenclaw.
