[009] Strange Man Zhuo Wenyuan
【009】The Strange Man Zhuo Wenyuan ()
Zhuo Wenyuan was a Jinshi of the previous dynasty, with a great talent in his mind, and his poetry and prose were once a master of the literary world in the south of the Yangtze River and was a master of the literary world five hundred years ago.
This gentleman was the founder of the Zhuo School. He practiced the four words "to use what he learned" throughout his life, saying that scholars should not study hard for the imperial examination, and that all useful books in the world can be read. He was full of students all over the world, and he brought a lot of useful talents to the court at that time.
However, at that time, Zhuo Wenyuan was criticized by the pedantic scholars, believing that he had let scholars study too many strange and lewd skills and would disrupt the country. Fortunately, Zhuo Wenyuan was a truly open-minded gentleman, and even the emperor at that time admired his demeanor. Although this person was not favored, the emperor did not make things difficult for him, so he let him edit books in the Hanlin Academy.
This king served as a bachelor's degree in Hanlin Academy, specializing in teaching for the emperor. He was repeatedly excluded by villains but was not demoted. He retired early at the age of fifty, and became a monk... Liu Erlang's memory of this person was so far that he could not have thought that Zhuo Wenyuan had been a monk for thirty years and a Taoist priest for another forty years, and finally became a master!
After calming down the spirit, Xibei Liu continued to look: "The land of China has always been a saying of perfection. The twelve is the Great Perfection. The path of cultivation is also divided into twelve major realms, namely: bright god, condensing energy, spiritual consciousness, out of the body, controlling objects, performing techniques, fusion, small catastrophe, illusion spirit, earth immortal, great catastrophe, and divine communication..."
"Out of body? This is the fourth realm. According to the "Miscellaneous Notes of Wenyuan", Zhuo Wenyuan reached this realm without a teacher at that time? Tsk tsk, is this person a genius who has never met in a century?"
Xibei Liu was very surprised and admired Zhuo Wenyuan a little.
In Zhuo Wenyuan's handwritten record of "Miscellaneous Notes of Wenyuan", he said that he had thought about the moon one night and suddenly felt the movement dozens of steps away. Then his soul flew into the air. He looked down and saw his body standing in the yard. He was frightened and his soul flew back into his body. When he woke up the next day, he wondered whether this was a dream or had actually happened.
Later generations read the allusion in "Miscellaneous Notes of Wenyuan", and they all thought it was a strange dream of Zhuo Wenyuan and did not take it to heart.
"Haha, no wonder Zhuo Wenyuan was attacked from all sides and was mingled in the dark officialdom of the ghost realm, but he could enjoy his old age. His soul left his body, and he must have reached the peak of the qi. According to the Spring and Autumn Period, he could avoid evil spirits and suppress villains! Such righteousness can shock the world and the earth and wept ghosts and gods. Historical books say that Emperor Guangzong of the previous dynasty had a long talk with Wen Yuangong for half a day, but he didn't know how time passed. Later, he sighed to his followers, "This man is a true gentleman, with the legacy of ancient scholars and officials." He asked the slanderous ministers to spread rumors and cause trouble, and the emperor never neglected Zhuo Wenyuan."
Xibei Liu was filled with emotion and finally understood why Liu Erlang respected Zhuo Wenyuan very much. It must have been influenced by Zhuo Wenyuan. Liu Erlang invisibly developed a strong and upright spirit.
"The Great Way is Nameless?" Seeing the first four words of the general outline of cultivation, Xibeiliu immediately became interested and continued to read: "The Great Way is Nameless, the Great Way is Selfless, the Great Good is Bound, and the Great Dependence is Invincible..."
Xibei Liu looked awe-inspiringly. Regardless of whether there was a saying of cultivating immortals, just by the sixteen words at the beginning of the volume, Zhuo Wenyuan was already known as a great master of the previous generation. In just sixteen words, it implies many great principles of a gentleman's life. No wonder the Way of Fusheng emphasizes worldly practice, which is probably inseparable from these sixteen words.
Next, Xibei Liu's face turned red and she looked particularly excited.
After the general outline, he practiced the mantras corresponding to the twelve major realms. At this time, Xibei Liu didn't care whether there would be any problems with practicing the broken pages of the previous volume. When he thought of Baili Chunqiu and Jiang Jianyue's magical powers, he wished he could have such ability one day.
It was Baili Chunqiu and Jiang Jinyue that completely subverted Xibeiliu's former worldview. If someone had talked about his practice in the past, he would have scolded that guy for being sick, but now... one time and another time.
"Liu Erlang actually memorized the various classics written by Zhuo Wenyuan? Well, I think about it, there is a sentence in "Wenyuan Gentleman Talk": "A gentleman should first determine the three views: outlook on life, values, and world view. If the three views are established, then there will be no confusion in his heart. This is an interesting, really interesting. This is a topic of research by modern scholars. The legendary ancient sages probably refer to people like Zhuo Wenyuan."
At this moment, Xibei Liu is not so sorry for himself.
It can be said that from this moment on, his outlook on life, values, and worldview have undergone earth-shaking changes... but there is a natural process in which he must gradually adapt.
Walking out of the wooden barrel, Xibeiliu changed into clean clothes and then jumped onto the wide bed. The practice of Fusheng Taoism did not require cross-sitting, so he maintained a casual sitting position and was about to try to practice.
To be honest, Xibei Liu did not have much hope. Even Baili Chunqiu and the clouds on the riverside could not understand the ground. He did not think that he could understand it at once. With a little thought of watching the fun, he seemed very casual.
This kind of casualness is in line with the essence of the nameless land of the Great Dao.
"Have the heaven and earth in mind, the heart is as calm as water, and the mind is empty and bright?"
When I read the first sentence of the exercise of skills, it was like reading an ordinary book. Xibei Liu had already understood it in the blink of an eye. I forgot the whole character and entered a state of emptiness and brightness.
"I'm now entering the realm of the Ming God?"
After a long time, Xibei Liu opened her eyes and was very surprised.
After thinking for a while, he quickly understood the reason. It was not that he was extremely talented and could understand the first level in the blink of an eye. Instead, when he was preparing to do some big things, he was always impatient. Later, he came up with a way to calm down quickly. This method was very similar to the formula of Fusheng Record.
"No wonder Zhuo Wenyuan was able to learn from his soul without a teacher. It turned out that some ordinary people figured out the methods themselves, which actually had the same effect as the methods of practicing. The great way is nameless, maybe this is what it means..."
There was a trace of enlightenment in my heart, and Xibei Liu then realized the next realm.
The formula says: "Internal energy is connected to external energy, and you can understand the heaven and earth."
According to Xibei Liu's thoughts, if you understand this sentence, you can break through the realm of condensation. It is worthy of being a cultural person. Combined with Liu Erlang's remaining knowledge and memory, he soon figured it out.
The so-called internal energy is the qi of "element, energy and spirit", which is the internal breath that is naturally present in the living body. It must communicate with the spiritual energy of the outside world, and then lead the energy into the body to condense the spiritual energy into the body and clean the marrow to be considered as the real condensation of qi.
This method is similar to the Taoist method of practicing body and spirit. Zhuo Wenyuan is worthy of being the master of the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. However, it is easy to say, but difficult to do.
