Chapter 14 Taoist nun, nun

As night fell, the sound of knocking on the door woke Shang Biao from the meditation. With a little sense of sensitivity, he found that it was Zhao Guizhen who knocked on the door.

"Come in, what's the matter with fellow Taoist?"

Shang Biao waved a palm wind to open the door. Outside the door, there were two women beside him.

The older woman dressed as a Taoist nun, looking like a rare Kundao. Another younger woman looked well-behaved and cute, but she had a shiny bald head. The nine-point scar on her head showed her official identity as a monk.

When Shang Biao saw the nun, he always felt something was wrong.

It was not until I noticed the scar on her head again that I realized what the problem was. This is not a historical drama made by those brainless screenwriters. How could the theater make such a low-level mistake?

Monks and nuns became monks and took precepts, and used incense, candles, scars to show their sincerity to burn their bodies to offer to Bodhisattvas and Buddhas. This custom is not what should have happened in this era, and even if it appears, it should not be such a mature Nine-Drug Incense Scar.

The custom of burning the scabs is said to have originated in the Yuan Dynasty. At that time, a monk Zhide was respected by the Yuan Shizu. When he passed the precepts, it was stipulated that the human tribes who received the precepts must burn the top of their heads and fingers with incense to show their determination to be loyal to Buddhism.

Of course, the master who left this custom was not masochist, but was left with such a custom based on Buddhist scriptures.

Article 16 of the Forty-Eight Light Precepts of the Brahma Net Sutra says: "If you burn your body, burn your arms, burn your fingers; if you don't burn your body, your arms, your fingers, your fingers are not offered to all Buddhas."

The Lotus Sutra: The Master of Medicine King Bodhisattva says: "All sentient beings are happy to see the Bodhisattva burning his body and burning his arms to offer to all Buddhas."

There are sutras to follow, so later generations passed down the custom of burning the body and showing devout worship of the Buddha, and transformed the etiquette of burning the body into one, two, three, six, nine, and the highest twelve precepts, the "Bodhisattva precepts".

Although Tang Xuanzang returned a large number of true scriptures in this era, any monk with a little knowledgeable experience was not too late to study the Buddhist path of justice, so how could he focus on such trivial matters?

"I'm disturbing fellow Taoist, let me introduce you. This is fellow Taoist Qingfengguan Xuanwei."

What Zhao Guizhen introduced first was indeed the Taoist nun. Shang Biao bowed and greeted each other.

"This nun is a fellow Taoist whom fellow Taoist Xuanwei met on the way, with his Dharma name Jingyue. Like fellow Taoist Shinan, he heard that the evil dragon was harming the world and was filled with righteous indignation and came to do some merits.

Coincidentally, Master Jingyue also became a monk in Qingcheng. Could it be that the two of them met?"

Hearing Zhao Guizhen say this, Shang Biao immediately understood, and it seemed that his identity was also exposed.

It is probably because of his search for Dongting Lake that caused the other party to suspect him. After all, he was going to Dongting Lake at this time and didn’t know the way. Ninety-nine percent of them were fellow actors.

"Is that right? That's a coincidence. However, I rarely go out, and I have never heard of Master Jingyue's name."

Shang Biao smiled faintly and did not recognize him.

However, Jingyue started talking nonsense: "Friend Shinan's Daime Pokémon has long heard of it. He killed the god of lust and the talisman and the fox demon. It is still a strange story that Qingcheng practitioners are happy to talk about."

When Shang Biao heard this, his face turned dark. He was indeed an actor, so he started to act like a bad guy. If Zhao Guizhen had any ideas, he would definitely be more careful about him next.

Sure enough, when Zhao Guizhen heard Shang Biao's false event, he believed it, and a strange look appeared on his face, and then said with a smile:

"I didn't expect that fellow Shinan did so many great things, and it was a waste of time. Next, besides the evil dragon, fellow Shinan is probably going to be famous all over the world."

Shang Biao showed a somewhat ugly smile on his face, and he politely refused.

Zhao Guizhen then told Shang Biao to set off in the early morning and head to the canyon where the Fire Dragon was located, asking him to prepare.

After they got to know each other, Zhao Guizhen and Xuanwei left his room together. Only the nun Jingyue found an excuse to stay, and it seemed that she was going to show up with Shang Biao.

"Isn't it a bit unethical for my friend to do this?"

Shang Biao lost a silent barrier and said with a calm face.

"Hehe, my words are not all nonsense. I have really heard of your name. Su Jin hates you to the core. I have often heard your name from her recently!"

Jingyue showed two white tiger teeth and looked at him with interest.

"Why, she's also in this video?"

"I think too. We both agreed to participate in the promotional film together. We held her thick thighs and became a second-rate actor smoothly. There is nothing more exciting than this.

However, since she participated in the video with you once, something seemed to be wrong with her. She said she wanted to postpone the promotion, but there was no way I could only come by myself.

I said, Brother Shitou, why don’t you take me with me for Su Jin’s sake.

He can warm the bed and be cute. Master, please keep me!"

Jingyue shook her small breasts, which were not big, and became coquettish.

Shang Biao sneered, and with a "scarlet" sound, his magic sword was unsheathed and pointed at the little nun who was approaching his cordon.

"Do you think it's possible? Warn you, it's better to stay away from me, otherwise something unpleasant will not happen.

Also, don’t think I don’t know what you are trying to do. Su Jin can fight me twice and escape unstoppable. I wonder if you have such good luck.”

"It's indeed a cold stone. You deserve to be single for the rest of your life."

Jingyue muttered dissatisfiedly. Seeing Shang Biao's bad attitude, she put away her smile, turned around and slammed the door and left.

It was early morning in a flash, and Shang Biao, who was ready to go, adjusted his condition to the best, went downstairs to meet Zhao Guizhen, and several people used their own methods to rush out of the city.

The canyon where the Fire Dragon is located is a hundred miles away from Linhe City, but no one is an ordinary person. At the speed of the journey, he arrived at his destination in an hour.

Zhao Guizhen calculated the time. At this moment, it was the time when the moon faded and the sun rose. The Fire Dragon could not use the moonlight to improve its strength, nor did it have the bonus of the fire spirit under the scorching sun.

The time has already occupied it, and the place has to be convenient, so Xuanwei has to use it.

The canyon where the Fire Dragon was secretly cultivated was not known before, but now it has become a sea of fire. Just as a few people approached the periphery, they could feel waves of heat waves of people's skin.

Shang Biao's evil soul clone did not have the ability to be free in the divine eyes fire, so he felt very uncomfortable. Fortunately, Zhao Guizhen was prepared and distributed a fireproof talisman to everyone.

"Xuanwei, how about it? Can the formation be arranged?"

Zhao Guizhen looked at the Taoist nun beside him and asked softly.

"The formation you asked me to prepare before to deal with this situation is probably inappropriate, but fortunately I borrowed the Master's Five Elements Spirit Pearl in front of me.
