Chapter 38: Half Three Points, Half Defense(1/2)

As the game deepened, the biggest problem exposed by Mo Mengchen was the powerlessness of the defensive speed guard.

Brelock broke through him in the second quarter and connected with Steve Smith, and the originally weak Hawks began to chase.

At the end of the half, the Hawks chased the gap to 4 points.

50 to 46

Another problem is his desire to attack. Apart from the unreasonable 1-0 chasing three-pointer, he did not make any moves at all.

In the second half, Collins adjusted the lineup slightly.

Mo Mengchen played the second position and Dumas played the first position, which was to deal with Brelock's breakthrough.

The arrangement led to a result that angered Houston: he was going to sit off the court.

Losing a stable firepower point, but adding a ball-holding point is impossible to tell whether it is good or bad.

In the second half, three ball holding points appeared on the Pistons.

"I heard that you have suffered a lot of injuries, so why do you still play basketball? I also heard that you are a doctor, are you really?"

Suddenly, the opponent became a chatterbox.

Mo Mengchen ignored him and was also more determined to Ogmon's defense, blocking his breakthrough and freely making his three-pointer.

If Hill's three-pointer is not threatening in his eyes, then Ogmon's three-pointer is a piece of shit. It is better to expect him to score a three-pointer than to expect him to score a 21 in every round.

At present, the two teams have a 4-point gap.

The Pistons' inside line also changed to the starting lineup, Thorpe and Mills.

Mo Mengchen squatted against the bottom line, and Thorp walked slowly towards him.

"Do you know? Actually, my three-pointers are quite accurate, so it's better not to let me shoot three-pointers..."

Ogmon was pushing, and suddenly, Mo Mengchen moved. Thorpe's cover was extremely solid. This unknown blue-collar worker always helped the team in these difficult-to-be-detected places.

With his cover, Mo Mengchen got rid of Ogmon and cut the 45-degree three-point line on the right to catch the ball, making a three-pointer.

"He scored 6 points from Mo's second three-pointer!"

"Your shot just now gave me goosebumps." Hill praised as he chased Mo Mengchen's butt.

Mo Mengchen did not accept his praise: "I hope one day your shot can give you goosebumps yourself."

The top student from Duke University looked dark and complained to his big brother Dumas: "That guy is so annoying!"

"You really should practice three points." Dumas said.

Ogmon caught up with Mo Mengchen and complained: "You actually run tactics without my defense. It's too cunning, I protest!"

"Will you tell me what you are going to do?" Mo Mengchen asked.

"Do you think I am you?"

Ogmon shouted: "I want to catch the ball, and then break through you, and then score a layup in the only way you have seen in your life!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Ogmon borrowed a single block cover to break out of the three-point line. After getting the ball, the defender turned into Hill. Although Hill did not receive any defensive awards at his peak, he proved that he was an elite defensive player, he was undoubtedly the best defender in the Pistons.

Ogmon in front of him dribbled through without any warning. He circled an extremely strange arc, as he said, this was the first time Mo Mengchen saw someone break through like this.

He used an amazing breakthrough to pass the defender and then passed the ball Steve Smith, the extremely forbearing swinger fired again and made a mid-range shot.

"I said it? This is a breakthrough you have never seen before!" Ogmon looked at Mo Mengchen proudly.

He is really good at using his talents.

"This is a weird flower," Hill said.

"He will be injured." Mo Mengchen said suddenly.

“Hmm?”

Hill turned around.

"That kind of breakthrough will cause severe knee wear and he will rely too much on his legs." Mo Mengchen said, "Sooner or later, he will pay the price."

Hill asked, "Are you sure he will get injured this round?"

"No." Mo Mengchen said.

"Then we have to show all our focus. This guy won't reduce such breakthroughs because of such breakthroughs. You should see that he is a lunatic!" Hill said.

Mo Mengchen refused to refuse, and he looked at the score: 53 to 48.

Still squatting on the bottom line, Thorpe stopped coming, he was called away by Dumas' pick-and-roll gesture, Mills was also in the high position, Mo Mengchen was like an abandoned baby.

"It seems that your teammates want to solve the problem alone. Is this really good?" Ogmon asked.

Tactics have stalled.

Hill took the ball outside the three-point line.

"Joe!"

Mo Mengchen called Dumas, who ran quickly to catch the person.

"Damn bastard, you're going to do this again!" Ogmon said angrily.

No one responded to him, and Mo Mengchen's defender was replaced by Brelock, who had a prejudice against him. As soon as he changed his defense, Brelock spewed an ugly trash talk in his ear.

Mo Mengchen ran towards Hill while pointing at the basket.

Hill gave up the singles and stuck Smith with his back. The two seemed to have worked together for many years and completed the hand-hand ball handover with great understanding. The moment he got the ball, Mo Mengchen made a change of direction behind the scenes that made the whole audience stand up and cheer.

Brelock wanted to embarrass Mo Mengchen in Auburn Mountain too much. This was his first game, and this was their home court. If he made him look ugly in front of this crazy group of fans, this group of fans would remember it for the rest of their lives.

So, he chased him at full speed and continued to entangle him.

He never thought that too rapid speed would be the reason for the end of his ankle.

He was too fast and put too much pressure on the past. After Mo Mengchen took the ball, he pulled the ball from behind in place, completely removing his power. Brelock, who had lost his fulcrum, flew out from behind and slid out from the floor.

"Mo has completed a scalpel-like dribble on the outside!"

The defender was shaken away, Mo Mengchen dribbled with his left hand, and Hill followed him. This was a sure-fire dribble. A soft left-hand layup actually hit the basket's neck. Hill followed up and made a quick dunk.

"Fortunately there is Grant Hill!"

"But that change of direction dribble is really beautiful!"

"Unforgivable!" Houston furiously said, "You actually wasted a chance to be selected into the top ten goals!"

Mo Mengchen pushed Houston back, who almost stepped into the field: "Sit down well!"

Houston sat down and was so angry: "Isn't anyone taught this damn rookie how to respect a big brother like me? Damn, the rookie has become increasingly big or small recently!"

"Alan, come and have a drink." Lor handed the water.

"I wish everyone was like you."

Finally, there was a polite rookie. Houston had two lines of clear water in his eyes. I don’t know if it was sweating or tears that were overflowing because of the overly touched.

"How could I miss the layup just now?"

Joe Lynch couldn't understand that he had seen Mo Mengchen's left hand, which was extremely deadly, and might be more threatening than his right hand.

A turnover may explain the ball, but he doesn't believe it was a turnover.

Except for Lynch, no one cared about Mo Mengchen's left-hand layup missed, and the game continued.

The problem of the eagle is becoming more and more obvious.

No one can provide stable firepower except Steve Smith, and on the Piston side, Momonchen began to show off his weapons.

Another three-pointer.

Three shots were all open three-pointers. Careful people can find that every shot he shot was exactly the same.

If they were more careful, or had better ear strength, they would be shocked to find that the sound of the ball rubbing against the Nets was exactly the same.

"It's so accurate, Mo's three-pointer!" Lor said in surprise.

Mo Mengchen's three-point scored a score difference of 10 points.

The eagles began to panic. In order to block Mo Mengchen's three-pointer, they kept leaking Hill that was cutting in, and the defense lines at both ends of the inside and outside began to collapse.

Mo Mengchen no longer takes action. He can get involved in space just by just standing outside.

Until the fourth quarter, the score difference reached 14 points.

Momonchen took Houston's towel and went off for a break.

"You'll sit down!" Houston said, pointing to the bench.

If nothing unexpected happens, Mo Mengchen will not appear again.

He scored 24 points tonight, scored 9 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. This data can be considered extremely excellent when it comes to any substitute.

Sitting back in his seat, Momonchen remembered the ticket he gave to Ephraim. He remembered the ticket seat, so he looked at the audience.

There are so many people in such a distance, if others cannot see Ephraim.

But Mo Mengchen saw it.
