It was clearly the most familiar place, Xueying felt indescribable. Looking at the houses, wooden boards, and clothes that were scattered by the strong wind in the flood river, Xueying felt like she had lost something. Fortunately, she didn't see any bad news. Xueying's head had dispersed, and her clothes were drooping because of the rain. The mud was very sticky, and she was tightly holding Xueying's shoes, as if she refused to let her walk forward any further.

I returned to my familiar home, but because I was in the low-lying area, I had already completely submerged in the water. The river in front of the door was furious and should not be underestimated.

Xueying didn't see anyone, and finally put down some of the stones in her heart and walked towards the ancestral hall halfway up the mountain. It was used for emergency use and also to avoid floods. The place where Xueying stood was already very close to the mountainside. She looked up and saw the several rooms standing on the top of the mountain, sighed, and then walked up.

The road on the mountain was full of bare stone slabs, and the road was a bit narrow, which looked very dangerous. The more you walked up, the more scared Xueying became and did not dare to look down. Looking down, there was a turbulent flow of water. Xueying accidentally went down several times, and suddenly became dizzy and almost fell down. She tried her best to restrain herself from looking down.

After getting some distance, Xueying saw a man watching from afar. The man looked at the foot of the mountain, full of sorrow, probably thinking about the flood below the mountain. When he withdrew his gaze, he saw Xueying. Xueying's tears came out of control and shouted aggrievedly: "Dad."

Xueying's father also saw her. Xueying didn't care about the abyss under her feet and ran towards her father. It was a very strong hug. Xueying's father seemed to have grown a lot overnight: "Yingzi, how did you come?"

Xueying cried and said, "I was worried about you, so I asked for leave from the school, but the township chief and others would not let me in."

Xueying said while crying, Xueying's father comforted her.

Xueying and her father entered the ancestral hall. Everyone in the village was there, and Qu Xingmu was there, but they didn’t see the bones of Grandpa Fifth. Xueying asked, “Dad, where is the bones of Grandpa Fifth?”

When she asked this, she suddenly felt that the atmosphere was a little wrong. Grandpa Fifth's son, Uncle and Aunt Third, started crying. Xueying's father said again: "Uncle Fifth's body could not be brought up. The flood came too suddenly, so we didn't react at all." Xueying also fell silent.

Qu Xingmu also sat blankly in the corner, watching all this indifferently.

Xueying's mother said, "That boy has been like this since the day Uncle Wu left. He seemed to be fascinated by something and didn't speak."

Xueying approached him and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Qu Xingmu suddenly turned around and looked towards the wall, crying so hard that he couldn't help himself, and said, "I saw the eyes like lanterns."

Xueying heard the old man in the village say it, and became interested: "Why are you so scared?"

Qu Xingmu looked at Xueying with tears in his eyes and said, "I don't know."

Xueying went to ask the old man in the village. The old man looked disbelief and said to Xueying: "The legendary place where the Dragon King turns around and swings his tail will be flooded."

Qu Xingmu suddenly stood up and said, "It was injured, but I was too scared to help it."

The elderly people in the village all had a gloomy face. Another one took a sip of dry tobacco and said, "I think this is the true body of the fifth brother. The dragon is a sign of auspiciousness. We need to help it."

The younger ones were worried: "Who knows if it is a real dragon? What if it is a monster, it will hurt people? After all, we have never seen what a real dragon looks like."

So they were divided into two groups, and everyone voted. Xueying voted for it because of her innate curiosity. Qu Xingmu voted for it, so everyone started to save the Dragon King in the flood below.
