Chapter 702: Ask the Buddha "Three"
Seeing that Chen Pan did not ask again, Amitabha continued: "Some roads seem quite easy, but no one knows what the situation will happen later. Some roads seem extremely difficult, but who can guarantee that the road will not be smooth."
Chen Pan nodded, just like practicing the Yin and Yang poles of Taoist patterns. It is not difficult to get it. There are many people who practice, but not many have achieved results.
"When you talk about this, do you still have any questions?" Amitabha asked suddenly.
Chen Pan shook his head and said he had no questions.
Amitabha shook his head: "Actually, there are two questions you didn't ask. Of course, I can't answer how these roads appear? Can they really lead to the end of our goal?"
Chen Pan thought for a moment and frowned. Of course, he did not consider these two issues.
Practicing various Taoist patterns seems to have become a natural thing. Although the understanding of the mood in the later stage is very important, there are generally supporting techniques in both the early stage and the later stage. How did these techniques come about? Also, although it is said that the same path is the same, can every method of practice really reach the highest level pursued by all monks?
Chen Pan didn't know that, so he bowed to Amitabha Buddha again, so he naturally asked for advice.
Amitabha shook his head: "I can't teach you because I want to know the answer. Because of this, I did not choose any known Taoist pattern as my own Tao, but tried to create a new Tao. In my opinion, those roads did not exist. They were developed slowly by predecessors. The roads naturally seemed spacious and flat. There were few people who developed it, so the roads naturally seemed extremely difficult. Since predecessors could do it, I could do it too."
Chen Pan was extremely surprised to create a new path by himself. How courage and great wisdom is needed to achieve it, but this may not be impossible. "The great man in the world said that there is no road in the world, and if more people walk, it becomes a road. Amitabha Buddha is making an unimaginable attempt. Once success may not become a new path, at least the other party has reached the Hunyuan realm, which is a considerable success.
And creating a new Tao is not unprecedented. Chen Pan remembered the large formations left by Ji Xuanyuan, and the various Taoist patterns intertwined, and it seemed that they had become a new Taoist pattern, but they could not understand it.
Those who can do this step are undoubtedly true geniuses. Ji Xuanyuan is, and so is Amitabha in front of him. What can be done by others is for heroes. Chen Pan respects Amitabha in front of him.
Chen Pan bowed to his mind and said again: "I am stupid and listened to the Buddha's words. I suddenly realized it, but there are still many things that I cannot understand. I wonder if I can read the Buddhist scriptures?"
"Buddhist scriptures? There are no written scriptures in my Buddhist country!" said Amitabha.
"How can the Buddha preach?" Chen Pan asked in surprise.
Amitabha smiled with a finger: "I said that I don't know what my own way is, and how can I preach the teachings!"
"Then this Mount Sumeru..." Chen Pan was puzzled. If Amitabha was not preaching, how could so many people do ordinary things with him?
Amitabha explained: "They are all pitiful people and have made countless mistakes. I just taught them to put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha immediately. Now they are reflecting on themselves every day and suffering from the torment of the heart fire. When they can completely let go of the past, they really put down the butcher knife. Then the heart fire will naturally disappear and they can all become Buddhas."
"What is Buddha?" Chen Pan asked, as if he didn't understand what Tao is. He didn't understand what Buddha is either.
Amitabha Buddha gave a Buddha ceremony: "Good, good, Buddha is a man who has great enlightenment! All sentient beings are equal, and all things in the world can let go of all obsessions, achieve great enlightenment, and become the ultimate human being, they can be called Buddha. Everyone can become Buddhas!"
Everyone can become a Buddha. Mother Rat said this to Chen Pan back then, but now I hear Amitabha Buddha say it in person, but it feels like another. This is undoubtedly the true teaching of Buddhism in this world: let go of all obsessions, and everyone can become a Buddha.
But Chen Pan still had many things he didn't understand and asked, "Master Buddha, can anyone convert to Buddhism and be protected by you?"
Amitabha nodded: "Yes, I established the northwest Buddhist Kingdom for this purpose. I want to make this place a pure land without hatred and suffering. If I really have the heart to take refuge and be kind, I can be protected by me when I enter my Buddhist temple."
"If someone kills millions of people and then converts to Buddhism, you will also be protected by you?" Chen Pan asked.
Amitabha nodded: "Receive."
"Then millions of people died in vain?" Chen Pan asked loudly. He had never been particularly keen on Buddhism but based on his impression of his previous life. In Buddhist propaganda, it seems that no matter how many evil things you have done, as long as you believe in Buddhism, all sins can be washed away.
Amitabha shook his head: "It is not a waste of death. Every life that is killed will turn into a wisp of karma and entangle the evildoer, but he doesn't know it. When this person truly converts to Buddhism, these karma will turn into karma fire and constantly torture him, which is even more painful than killing him directly. My Buddhism only protects those who truly convert to Buddhism and have a great enlightenment, which is both a shelter and a suffering."
This is true. If you really have the desire to repent, living will be more tortured than dying, and you will need greater courage. However, Chen Pan asked again: "Why, how do you judge whether the other party really has the desire to repent?"
Amitabha replied: "I have the six-character mantra, which can reveal the other person's original heart."
Chen Pan shook his head and said loudly: "As long as it is a martial art, there will be a way to deal with it, and it may not be possible for anyone to use tricks to make you make mistakes in judgment. At that time, your Buddha Kingdom will become a place for these evil practitioners to protect you, and then your Buddha Kingdom will become a place where dirty and dirty things are hidden. How can you talk about a pure land? It may even harm the people."
"Good, good, the donor seems to have some misunderstandings about my Buddhism." Amitabha Buddha gave a Buddha ceremony and said, "What the donor said is not a hidden danger, but if you don't do it, how can you know it is really not possible? If what the donor says really means that my way is wrong, and may cause a considerable disaster, but it will eventually be abandoned by the world, and then the world will be peaceful."
Chen Pan was stunned for a moment. He really had preconceived ideas and regarded the Buddhist sect in his previous life as one. The Buddha's kingdom was actually the Tao of Amitabha. He had already said that his Tao was still exploring, so there were naturally many shortcomings, but he could indeed try it out. And what he said was right. Although the Buddhism in his previous life became commercialized and prosperous, it went against his original spirit and was eventually abandoned by the world and gradually came to an end.
After all, whether it is the Buddha in the scriptures in the previous life or the Amitabha Buddha in the present life, they are people with great wisdom and perseverance, which is worthy of admiration. (To be continued...
