Chapter 2 Arguments
The young monk walked up to Zhishan and asked, "I dare to ask the master, what are the three levels of the world? The little monk is not talented and is willing to answer them one by one."
Zhiyuan said: "Little monk, you can recite a few Buddhist scriptures at this age, but you can't answer my senior brother's three levels."
The young monk smiled faintly and said, "There is no difference between the master, why does the master think that I cannot answer?
Zhiyuan showed a hint of ridicule.
After hearing this, Ji-sun said lightly: "Then I will ask you."
I saw him ask, "Everyone has a fate of life, where is your fate of life?"
The so-called fate of birth is the family name of a person, which means what your surname is and where you come from. This is an ordinary question.
Before the young monk answered, Zhishan then reached out and said, "Why is my hand like a Buddha's hand?"
Immediately afterwards, he stretched out his feet and asked, "Why is my feet like Buddha's feet?"
He asked three questions in a row, first starting with a normal question, and immediately sent a second and third question. Both questions were full of maneuvers, which was very different from the first question. It was like pulling you first and giving you a kick immediately, making people breathless.
Faced with Jishan's questioning, the young monk calmly presented the tea to Jishan and said, "Please have tea."
Ji-sun said: "You answered my question, it's not too late for me to drink again."
The young monk smiled faintly and continued, "Please have tea."
Zhiyuan said: "You little monk is very familiar with it. My senior brother asked you, if you can't answer, you can't answer it. Why do you turn around and turn it over and over and over again? "
The young monk said, "I have answered the first question."
Zhiyuan said: "You answered that you would like to have tea, is this also called the answer?"
The young monk smiled and said, "Master Zhishan asked me about my fate in life, and aimed at using ordinary questions to test whether I have the ability to study Buddhism. I invited the master to drink tea, so that the master could not be confused by Zen, but could enjoy the true flavor of tea purely and directly at the moment. In this way, the mind would not have prejudice, and tea is tea, and the essence of everything, and the same is true. With this mind, you can naturally study Buddhism."
After he finished speaking, he looked at Ji-sun and said, "Master, is what I said right?"
Ji Sun finally took the tea and smiled and said, "No, please continue."
The young monk continued to talk, "What the master asked, 'Why is my hand similar to the Buddha', means that everyone has Buddha nature and can become a Buddha, so the master's hand is naturally similar to the Buddha's hand."
Zhiyuan couldn't help but nod and said, "How can you explain it in the third question?"
The young monk said lightly: "No matter whether the Buddhas, dragons, elephants, or sentient beings, horses and cows, they are essentially the same and there is no difference, so the master's feet are naturally like donkey's feet."
Zhishan sighed and said, "Lanruo Temple is indeed hidden and lying on the tiger. I have learned it."
Seeing that his senior brother was willing to give up on the disadvantage, Zhiyuan said, "I have the last question. If anyone can answer, we will not compete with Lanruo Temple for teaching in the palace this year."
Elder Yiyi said coldly: "If we can't answer, can't we fight with you?"
Zhiyuan said: "No need to do this. As long as you can't answer, you will naturally not be able to compete with us."
Elder Yiyi snorted and said, "Tell me."
Zhiyuan said: "There is no sound when one grain of millet falls to the ground, there is no sound when two grains fall to the ground, and there is no sound when three grains fall to the ground. From this we can see that there should be no sound when a whole bag of millet falls to the ground, why is this not the case?"
As soon as he said this, all the monks knew that it was wrong, but they also felt that his inference was reasonable and could not tell where it was wrong.
I saw the young monk laughing, attracting everyone's attention.
Zhiyuan said: "Little monk, you figured it out again."
The young monk said, "If you want to know the answer, please follow me to the back of the hall."
Zhiyuan said: "Okay, I'll see how you explain it."
He followed the young monk to the back of the Buddhist temple. After a long time, the two monks came out.
The young monk said, "I have already answered Master, Master, do you think so?"
The monks couldn't help but look at Zhiyuan, who nodded expressionlessly.
This time, the debate on Buddhism with Baoguang Temple was concluded.
However, because Zhishan and Zhiyuan did not stump the monks in Lanruo Temple, they did not stay for a night, but left directly.
After they left, Elder Yiyi called the young monk to his side and asked, "How did you answer him?"
The young monk whispered: "He was sophistry, there was no answer, so..."
Elder Yiyi said curiously: "So what?"
The young monk smiled and said, "I beat him and he became honest."
Elder Yiyi said angrily: "Why do you do this? You have completely offended Baoguang Temple. Go and go, copy the Heart Sutra ten times and hand it over to me tomorrow morning."
The young monk said: "No."
Elder Yiyi saw that he still didn't care, so he said, "You have to piss me to death. It's not enough to copy the Heart Sutra ten times. You have to pick up a hundred buckets of water for me tomorrow."
"promise!"
…………
At night, the green lights are like beans.
In a remote Zen room, a young monk was seriously lying in the Heart Sutra. However, there were dark shadows swaying around on the white paper in front of him, which was dazzling, but the young monk was unmoved and wrote no mistakes from beginning to end.
But he still couldn't stand it and put down his pen and said, "What are you doing when you keep swaying?"
"I said why are you so honest and obedient now? If you ask you to copy the scriptures, you will copy them ten times." There was no way for a woman to hear in the room that only young monks could hear.
The young monk is Ji Liao. He has been reincarnated here for twenty years and has also been in Lanruo Temple for twenty years.
Ji Liao said calmly: "It's not a big deal to copy scriptures, you can calm down. I'm living a relaxed and happy life now, and it would be even better if I didn't have you."
"Hmph, do you think I want to be with you." The woman who spoke was Mu Qing. She was not dead. Instead, she was entangled with Ji Liao because of the trace of the origin of the demon.
Now it has become a ghost-like existence, possessed by a blue scar on Ji Liaoxin's mouth.
Originally, any ghost would disappear when it touched Ji Liao, but now Mu Qing has become an exception.
Moreover, Ji Liao now has two forces of yin and yang. He controls the positive ones himself, and the negative ones belong to Mu Qing. However, the essence of the two forces is the same, so Mu Qing makes progress in his practice, Ji Liao will also make progress, and vice versa.
After discovering this, Ji Liao was too lazy to meditate and practice Qi. Anyway, Mu Qing has been practicing very hard. But later Mu Qing also discovered this and almost got mad. No, she was a crazy person.
It was precisely because Mu Qing was by his side that Ji Liao fought for the opportunity to live alone at a very young age, so that others would not see him talking to Mu Qing and think he was sick.
This era has been more than a thousand years since his decisive battle with Mu Qing.
The current concentration of the world's vitality has become weaker than more than a thousand years ago. The Liang Kingdom, which was guided by him, has unified the world through the efforts of six generations and has become the current Daliang Dynasty. Even the five Taoist sects and Nalanda Temple have to surrender to the iron hoof of the Daliang Dynasty and submit to Daliang.
Now the world is mainly composed of three types of ordinary people, martial arts masters and monks. The government generally does not interfere in the internal affairs between them. If martial arts masters kill ordinary people indiscriminately, it will attract the attention of the government. Similarly, monks kill martial arts masters and ordinary people indiscriminately, and the government will also pursue the matter.
The power of the government is extremely powerful, and the three schools of Buddhism, Taoism and evil have been much more restrained than they had been more than a thousand years ago.
However, there are no old antiques that can live for nearly a thousand years. According to Ji Liao's investigation, the most powerful figures have little difference in their martial arts level compared to the top level of more than a thousand years ago, but they can only live for three or four hundred years.
Maybe there was some change in the world, and he didn't understand the reason for the time being.
Now is the heyday of the Great Liang Dynasty. The world surrendered and divided the world into nine provinces, with heavy troops guarding each place.
