Chapter 68 Secret News
Ji Liao continued: "Did you ever think that if she hates me so much, she will hurt me or the people around me?"
The mysterious girl said in a daze: "But you are also very powerful. She can't hurt you, but it's hard to say the people around you."
She pondered for a while and said apologetically: "I didn't think about this, I'm sorry."
Seeing her so honest and straightforward, Ji Liao had the intention of accuse her and was also faded at this moment. However, he was still very curious about people like the mysterious girl, so he simply took this opportunity to ask, and he said, "If you feel sorry, can you tell me about you?"
The mysterious girl was a little confused and said, "What's our business?" She thought Ji Liao was asking her about her and the girl, but she felt something was wrong.
Ji Liao said patiently: "It's about people with similar powers to you. I heard someone call you Yiren. Can you tell me?"
The mysterious girl suddenly said, "So that's the case. If someone asks, I shouldn't say it. Since you ask, I'll just say it." She saw Ji Liao reveal the secret of the inkstone, find Lingyin, and lay the foundation for practicing Qi to become silk. Therefore, Ji Liao entered their circle with half of her foot, and explained it to him, it would be fine.
Ji Liao made a statement of calmness, and he was indeed very curious.
The mysterious girl continued: "There are eight basic natural forces in the world everywhere. We call them heaven, earth, mountains, mountains, water, fire, wind, and thunder. Controlling any of the eight natural forces means drawing a boundary with ordinary people. As for how to control these eight natural forces, there are also two situations.
The first situation is that they are born with this ability. Most of these people have the bloodline of demons, or are contaminated with innate essence representing various powers when they are in the mother body. We call them half demons and half demons. In fact, they can no longer be considered humans. At most, they have the appearance of humans. However, whether it is lifespan or wisdom, they are not comparable to ordinary people, and are considered to be another race.
The second type is through practice. There are many schools of practice, but in the final analysis, it is divided into three categories: Taoism, Buddhism, and side schools. The source of Taoist practice is the "Emperor Sutra", the source of Buddhist practice is the "No Word Sutra", and the source of side schools is the "Heavenly Demon Sutra", these three supreme scriptures are no longer verified in the years when these three supreme scriptures appeared, but they are all supreme treasures that can transform people into complete success.
There are five pieces of the "Emperor Sutra" and are kept by the five major sects of Taoism. The "Embroidered Sutra" has been enshrined in the Sutra Library in Nalanda Temple. The monks of Nalanda Temple have been dedicated to the "Embroidered Sutra" for countless years and have extended hundreds of supernatural powers. But so far, only one Bodhidharah has truly comprehended the core content of the "Embroidered Sutra". He left behind a "Martial Washing Sutra" that can lay an extremely strong Taoist foundation for the body. As for the "Embroidered Sutra", there are twelve volumes, which record all kinds of incredible evil deeds and even various magical techniques that go against the will of heaven and change fate. This book once caused a lot of storms and finally scattered in many places. Occasionally, the Demon Sutra of Heaven and Heaven, which is also a few fragments. For example, the witchcraft popular in the southern Xinjiang area is the evolution of some of the fur of the Demon Sutra of Heaven and Heaven.
Because our abilities are all obtained through practice, we call people like us monks, which is the abbreviation of practitioners."
After hearing this, Ji Liao felt that the vastness of the world was far from what he saw. He asked, "I'm very eye-opening after listening to your description, but why few things about you are circulating."
The mysterious girl said, "Because we are very few people, and we will not be too involved with the secular world. If the ghost coffin had not appeared and harmed many people this time, you would not have met me. In fact, there is another reason that once you become a monk, your lifespan is much longer than that of ordinary people. I am not very long in my practice, so I am still interested in the secular world. If I have been in a hundred years, I may not have much thought."
Ji Liao said: "Then how long can you live?"
The mysterious girl said: "If you practice very profoundly, it is said that you can live for a thousand years, generally speaking, you can live to one hundred and fifty years old."
Ji Liao said: "Isn't there anyone who is immortal?"
The mysterious girl said, "I don't know, but what I know is that no monk can live forever. Even the Bodhidharah is said to have transformed at the age of 1,500. The only one who truly lives forever is immortality and Buddha."
Speaking of this, she had a little desolate and said calmly: "It is said that the road to immortality has long been broken."
Ji Liao said: "What is the fairy road?"
The mysterious girl shook her head and said, "This is a legend. It is said that people who have reached a very high level of cultivation can become immortals and Buddhas, but the road to becoming immortals and Buddhas has been cut off. Therefore, no matter how powerful the cultivation level is, they will never escape death in the end, without exception." She paused and said, "But I heard my master tell a story before. It is said that a long time ago, someone had an ancient and mysterious curse. The rough content of the curse was to make a person never grow old and die, and he would always suffer in the world."
Ji Liao said in surprise: "What kind of curse is this? It should be a blessing."
The mysterious girl said, "I also asked, and the master told me that the content of the curse may be more than this. It is said that the person who really caught this curse was indeed in great pain. I also asked the master who was the man. The master did not say that she just said that that person was a taboo. I also asked if the man was still alive. The master said with certainty that he must be alive, because the curse cannot be lifted, so that person will not die."
After hearing this story, Ji Liao suddenly thought of himself again. He always felt that he was a little similar to that person. That person was immortal, but he lived to the third life and was likely to continue to live for many lifetimes.
But he was still very surprised why that person would suffer in the world when he lived. What kind of suffering is it?
Ji Liao said: "Thank you for telling me. Another thing is who is that Taoist Xuanchen?"
