Chapter 392: Frozen Oolong (I wish everyone a happy New Year's Day)

After a while, Song Chan took a kitchen knife over.

Song Wen took over and slowly cut the skin of the Siji Lan with a kitchen knife. He looked carefully and found that it was exactly the same as the bronze mirror. Except for the film attached to the trunk at the bottom of the bark, the bark was almost dry.

It's so difficult now that he doesn't know if this tree can be saved.

After looking at it, he knocked it against the tree body with his back to see if the bark is all connected to the trunk inside. If not, the tree will basically be unable to save it.

He knocked all the four-sci-lan and the whole tree. Song Wen found that the bark was tightly attached to the trunk inside, so that it would be easy to deal with, which means that the tree still has the possibility of rescuing it. After knocking on the tree, he asked Director Lin to ask someone to go to the clinic outside to borrow a stethoscope, and then knocked on the tree while listening.

When people in the temple and nearby heard someone coming from the mainland to treat Si Jilan, they ran over to see it curiously. At this time, they saw him facing the tree with a stethoscope, and they curiously asked him what he was doing.

Song Wen replied that he wanted to see if the tree body was worm-eaten or corroded.

Of course, these were just for them to see. He had already mastered everything in it clearly through the bronze mirror. But he could not have told them and Master Lin that there was something broken in this tree. This would not make people think that he was a lunatic or a liar, but it would be strange if a fool was fool.

I observed it in a pretentious manner for a while.

Song Wen took the stethoscope and turned to Lin Mingguo, the head of the temple, and said, "Master Lin, it seems that he has to dig up the tree. According to my observation, there should be a big hole in the middle of the roots of the tree, and the roots next to it are rotten. If they are not dug out and cleaned up, they will probably not be able to save them."

"Do you have to dig it up?" Director Lin frowned in embarrassment.

The Pushu Palace was rebuilt due to a fire, and it was about to break ground again, which seemed a bit unlucky.

"Um,"

Song Wen nodded and said, "The roots under this tree should have almost rotten. If they are not handled cleanly, the tree will not be able to be saved at all. And... I heard that the mother of Zhendian was carved by a Pu tree and is still alive. I wonder if it is true?"

"Of course it's true. Can such a thing still be false?" said Lin seriously.

"If this is the case, this tree will be even more dug. If the carving of the Temple Mother's Pure Tree is still alive, then over the years, the roots of the Siji Lan may have been entangled with the Piji Lan. If the mold on the rotten roots of the Siji Lan will be transmitted to the tree roots of the Temple Mother's tree, the roots of the Temple Mother's tree will slowly rot. Then, I'm afraid even the carving of the Temple Mother's tree will not be able to keep the body of the Temple Mother's carving."

"What should I do?" Director Lin was immediately nervous when he heard this.

"You don't have to worry. Just dispose of the rotten roots under the Siji Lan and disinfect them for a while."

"Okay, without further ado, I'll ask someone to come and dig."

When it comes to the matter of the temple mother, Director Lin did not dare to be careless and hurriedly asked someone to dig the tree. Sijilan was only the thickness of a thigh, and there was no need to find an excavator. Just ask a few people to dig up the surrounding soil and then ask a crane to come and hang it.

After the arrangement was made, he remembered to invite Song Wen and Song Chan, who had worked hard all the way, to have tea.

Lin Mingguo is already old, and most of the things in the temple are managed by his nephew Lin Shunli, but he went out in the morning and didn't come back until noon.

When they arrived in the back hall, Lin Shunli, who had just returned, took Lin Mingguo to entertain them.

The house is filled with old-fashioned wooden tables and chairs, which look simple and natural.

Lin Shun sat on a chair in the house. He took out a pack of tea from a box next to it and put it into a tea cup. Then he put some water on the iron kettle on the faucet by the wall and put it on the small battery stove on the small table next to it.

After a while, the water in the pot boiled, and he picked up the kettle and rushed into the teacup.

Most places in Taiwan and southern Fujian are also like in Chaoshan, and like to drink Kung Fu tea. Unlike other places, they put down the tea leaves and made a pot of water to drink.

The tea leaves in the teacup are hemispherically shaped, dark green and moist, and the edges are faintly golden. Lin successfully washed the water into the cup and quickly poured the water in the teacup on the next teacup. It looks very busy, but very stable.

This has a term called tea washing.

Because it is inevitable to be contaminated with unclean things such as dust during tea picking and making, one of the purposes of washing tea is to try to remove the dust on the tea. Another purpose is to remove the miscellaneous flavors in the tea. Since the fermentation time of oolong tea is relatively long, the storage of new tea is relatively frequent. If it is not stable, there will be more or less miscellaneous flavors and new flavors. By washing tea, these miscellaneous flavors can be reduced and the brewed oolong tea becomes pure and honest.

The most important thing is that tea leaves can easily absorb other flavors. If you don’t wash it and mix it with other flavors, the brewed tea soup will not be able to drink its original mellow and sweet taste.

After washing the tea, Lin Shunli picked up the kettle and rinsed it into the teacup. After brewing the washed tea leaves, the tea soup was golden and amber-colored, with a faint fragrance like ripe fruits and strong flowers.

"Come on, have tea. This is the oolong tea sent by my nephew. How do you try it? "

After Lin successfully brought the teacup to Song Wen and Song Chan, Director Lin said with a smile.

Song Wen picked up the cup and took a sip, put the tea in his mouth and stirred it gently with the tip of his tongue, and then swallowed it into his belly. He felt that the tea was mellow and sweet, and it was a rare good tea. He couldn't help but nodded and said, "What a good tea."

He has tasted the frozen oolong tea, but it is not as fragrant as it is today.

This frozen oolong is quite a bit of origin. It is said that during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, Lin Fengchi, a native of Lugu Township, Nantou, went to Fujian to take the exam. When he returned home from high school, he brought back 36 green-heart oolong tea seedlings from Wuyi Mountain, 12 of which were planted on the frozen oolong mountain beside Qilin Pond. Later, after careful cultivation, it slowly reproduced into a tea garden. This is the predecessor of frozen oolong. Oolong is a variety made of tea picking, and frozen oolong is the name of the mountain.

The earliest oolong tea was sold by tea farmers in the Joutingshan area as a oolong tea, so it is also known as the "Jouting Jouting Oolong Tea".

"Now, any tea produced near Handing Mountain or Handing Mountain on the market is called Handing Oolong. In fact, only the tea made of Forty-single Tea Garden on Handing Mountain is the real Handing Oolong. My nephew has a ten-hectare tea garden, and I will give me some every year. If you like to drink it, I will give you some when you go back." Lin Mingguo said happily when he heard Song Wen praise the tea sent by his nephew.

Song Wen hurriedly thanked him, but Lin Shunli next to him felt a little pain in his heart.

Although the frozen top oolong sold on the market is several hundred yuan per pound, it is not a real frozen top oolong. The real frozen top oolong has been decided before it was produced. It is either sold overseas or in collectors. It is very rare. Unexpectedly, my uncle wants to give it to someone again.

This is the problem he was given to others when he was praised. In the end, he had to buy tea to drink, and he didn't know what to say about him.

After drinking some tea, Lin Mingguo called the people who came to dig the trees, and Song Wen went out to direct them to dig the trees.

There is a wall next to Sijilan, so the digging place on that side is not big, and only the other four places can be digged a little bigger. He directed the workers to try to dig a little, not just digging a tree head without any roots, as it will be difficult to cure it.

Four or five workers dug up quickly, and the tree was dug up one or two hours later and was lifted up with the hired crane.

When he hung it up, Song Wen found that the roots at the bottom of the Four Seasons Orchid were far more serious than what he saw in the bronze mirror. Fortunately, several of the main roots were still very strong, otherwise he would not know whether the tree could be saved. After hanging the tree, he asked someone to find a saw and a knife, and then deal with the decaying roots at the bottom of the Four Seasons Orchid.

It was very slow to process by hand, so he had to ask Lin Shunli to borrow the cutting machine again, which was faster.

After removing the rotten roots at the bottom of the Siji Orchid, he sawed off some dry branches on the tops of the Siji Orchid.
