Chapter four hundred and ninety-first

In late August, after a heavy rain, there were crowds of panic walking on the muddy mountain road. .

In the north, it was hundreds of miles away from Yanmen Pass. Not long after the rain stopped, thousands of refugees from the north who were rushing out of the woods again. The wet clothes mixed the sweat stains and dirt for several months, and the whole team formed an unpleasant smell and emitted in the air.

In front of the team, several figures of war horses stood on the rocks above, looking at the long dragon walking slowly under their feet. Among the several horses, the leader of the knight was wearing imperial armor, with a sword edge hanging around his waist. Then, next to him was his follower, holding a map, pointing his fingers on it, and whispering: "General, your footwork is a bit slow. Even if we avoid General Suo's side, we will still be caught up by the other party in the next time."

That person is Huang Xin.

"They have been weak for too long, so where can they go fast." He sighed, "I knew it when I decided to open the city gate, so I made this road. Now if I want to stay away from the encirclement area, I can only go around Taiyuan, where there is no one, which is more suitable for resettlement."

The person who followed him looked at him with a difficult face and still reminded him: "General, there are hundreds of miles of roads in the past. At this speed, even if we go invisible, we will be discovered sooner or later."

"Aren't we going to this point just for these people? If we can save one person, don't mention these nonsense." Huang Xin's tone was not high, unlike his tone of scolding his subordinates. Then, he looked at the sky and turned his horse's head with a bridle. "Get the time to go, and by the way, he reminded the brothers who were exploring the way ahead. If he finds a village with people, let the team go around immediately. We cannot harm the people here."

Several cavalrymen took their own orders to get off the mountain and rocks and quickly sent orders.

Huang Xin rode down the hillside alone, watching the long queues moving on the narrow mountain road. Thousands of soldiers following him were in the complex and responsible for safety, and everything seemed to be in an orderly manner.

But he knew that during the more than ten days of the journey, there were dozens of people who were crazy about the disease, and several of his subordinates were among them. Even though he knew that the plague was so powerful and had done many measures to prevent the epidemic, some people would still fall down on the way, then go crazy, be shot to death, and then burned. As he walked over, the buried terrain was charred corpses.

Not long after, a knight on the mountain road went against the road and separated the crowd from the front, with a tired look on his face, and bowed to Huang Xin: "General, something happened in front of him."

"What's wrong?"

"Someone is suspected of getting sick, and some brothers among us can't control it. Before the people went crazy, they shot them to death. When the fire was ignited, it caused the family to be disturbed and argued." The knight who came over was indignant and couldn't help but strengthen his voice.

Huang Xin looked towards the sky ahead, and a wisp of black smoke rose to the sky with the burning, his brows turned cold, and then there was a vague sound of quarrel. He immediately whipped a whip and rode his horse around the walking crowd. There were all refugees in front of him, and his hurried footsteps were pushed, and the shouts of people were mixed together.

The buzzing was like the noisy Caishikou. Huang Xin couldn't get in, so he had to turn over and get off the horse. Several soldiers came by his side to run to open the road, and then he arrived ahead.

"Listen to me, this person has a plague. There are so many of us, and we have families with our families. If it spreads, everyone will die, and more people will die."

On the other side of the burning body, there were soldiers who were patiently explaining to the angry people. The wife, who was suspected to be the deceased, squeezed and pulled the armor of a soldier hard, and cried desperately to make him pay for his life. Then she was pushed away. The woman fell to the ground and cried loudly: "You beat me to death too, beat me to death, there is only one pillar in the family. If my man goes, I can't live."

A soldier wanted to go up to help the woman, but was caught by the other party's relatives and hit him in the face. The chaos suddenly started at this moment. Several refugees took advantage of the situation and brought others to attack the soldiers. They wanted to steal weapons and dry food, but were beaten back.

"Hit"

"The officers and soldiers are going to kill people."

"Everyone, don't follow them. They want to take us to remote places so that we can bury them on the spot."

Someone in the crowd took advantage of the chaos to spread rumors. When Huang Xin squeezed over, the road was full of people running around in his sight. He immediately asked one of his soldiers to go back and stabilize the team and separate the place.

"Block the important road ahead, don't let them rush around and fall off the cliff!" Huang Xin no longer saved effort and strided in the panic crowd, and drew his sword and slashed the figure spreading rumors and screaming in the pool of blood.

Huang Xin stood in front with a steel knife, with a broken neck under his feet, and glanced at the crowd of people who broke the conflict: "Whoever dares to move around again, I will kill the knife in my hand."

In the chaos, some people stopped, and then more people took a step back and were frightened by the sudden body.

"I took the name of a rebel and let you enter the pass, sacrificed many brothers. If anyone of you toasts doesn't eat, don't blame the sword in my hand for being too sharp."

At this point, the knife was inserted into the sheath with a sound, and Huang Xin waved his head suddenly: "Line up and move forward immediately, and wait until you are placed, I blame you for your trouble."

"How do we know if it's true?" Someone in the crowd couldn't help but speak.

Huang Xin turned around and glanced at the other party. The man hurriedly hid in the crowd. He took a breath and raised his fingers to scan, "I believe it or not, but I brought you in. I have to control it. I want to leave alone. I can, but the body is left."

After this sentence, he stopped saying it. The woman whose husband died did not dare to cry and tantrum. She wiped her tears and followed the team again. The blocked mountain road finally opened.

The sun began to set, and the light disappeared from the top of the mountain.

Not long after leaving the winding and narrow mountain road, Huang Xin, who was leading the horse in front, frowned, "Why do I feel like there is something wrong?"

The personal soldiers looked over.

"How long has the scout not come to inform the news?" There were not many burning torches, and the light was sparse, extending little by little in the team. The refugees resting on the ground ate the dry food they sent, and their faces were a little numb. Among the thousands of people, there were few voices, which seemed mysterious and quiet.

"It's about an hour." The personal soldier with a good memory raised his head, "It wasn't dark yet, I remember clearly, that's right."

"broken"

Huang Xin, who realized something was wrong, suddenly bounced up from the ground, threw the dry food, and turned over to the horse, "Immediately let my brother get on the horse and notify the team to set off immediately."

As the military orders continued, the atmosphere suddenly changed. The already tired refugee team suddenly became riots and panic. They were driven away by the soldiers and stood up and moved forward, just like driving away the flock of sheep.

"What's going on?"

"A shocked"

"Damn it, can you still let someone rest."

However, when the team was in a hurry to integrate, the night birds in the forest flew in a fright, and the chirping and flapping of wings instantly enveloped the entire forest. Looking at the gap between the woods in the distance, Huang Xin pulled out his knife bit by bit.

In the darkness, the figure riding horse slowly walked out of the gap between the forest with a little ignition. In the distance, at the edge of the woods, the sound of the nasal gushing of the war horses faintly surrounded them.

Green dragon sword, maroon horse.

"You can't leave," he said.
