Chapter 38 New Prophecy (2)

Crodis, the most powerful of the four apostles of the Tianfang Empire, is blocking the front of Ella and Dust.

He stood among the two big trees, and his hair and beard, which had grown wildly because of his careless care, fell to the ground. From a distance, it looked like a withered bush. However, the eyes exposed from the bush were far more scary than any warrior, any beast, or any statue of a god.

"Advisor, this guy is very powerful, and he can't get through." Dust whispered to Ella, "Now he wants to catch you back, and second, he wants to grab the copper pot in my hand. We run separately so that he can't take care of both. If he is lucky, he can escape. I count one, two, and three, and we will act!"

Before Ella could react, Dust began to count. As soon as the word "three" came out, he ran to the side. Ella followed his instructions and ran to the opposite side. After several steps in a row, she suddenly realized the problem - the copper pot and her, and asked Crodisi which one he wanted to catch, and there was no doubt that the answer was her. This was a two-choice question that had no doubts at all, and it had nothing to do with luck.

She turned around suddenly, and Dust had already run away with the copper pot in his arms.

"It seems that your companion has abandoned you."

Crodis slowly approached Ella. Because his hair and beard were too long, he rolled on the ground like a soft grass ball.

But Ella couldn't laugh at all. Facing the apostle, no one could laugh.

"Go back with me." Crodis reached out his hand forward, "Go and finish your work."

“My job is not just academic research,” Ella replied. “My maids are in danger now, my soldiers are in danger now. I am the king of Sweden, and now what I have to do is go back and lead them.”

"Your eyes are too short-sighted. The resurrection of the Son of God will not be delayed because you relaxed your research. This is something that the prophecy has determined. Once he is resurrected, he will never let you go, nor will your soldiers, your maid."

Crodis spoke these words without emotion, like an ancient tree telling philosophy.

"And, even if you go back, you can't change anything. The prophecy concludes that Nessaval Koyotel will win, and now you have no ability to change the prophecy."

"Even so, I'm going back." Ella calmed down and replied, "You've been saying prophecies from beginning to end, but I don't like prophecies. The future should be accumulated from every moment we are experiencing now, and I want to grasp these moments on my own."

"You want to grasp the moment by yourself and rewrite the prophecy? OK. Then, you will defeat me here."

Crodis stretched his withered hands out of his fluffy hair, like two branches growing horizontally in the bushes.

"Do you have to do this?" Ella asked.

"Yes, you must defeat me before you can be qualified to go down the mountain. This is not a rude threat. Child, you must understand that even me, you have not been able to change your prophecy now. If you cannot defeat me, you are destined to be unable to defeat prophecy."

As soon as she finished speaking, darkness flowed down from the top of the mountain, pouring into the surrounding space like a waterfall. Ella felt as if she was at the bottom of a large lake, and everything around her was filled with and overwhelmed by the heavy darkness. She felt heavy and suffocated.

There was a faint red light on the ground. Ella knew that Crodis was using the magic circle again. She raised her head. Sure enough, from the darkness, she saw the slowly flowing Milky Way, the rolling celestial balls in sequence, and the alternating sun and moon. But all these magnificent scenes seemed so small at this moment - Crodis's body did not become larger than ordinary people under this magic, but when he stood in the starry sky, it immediately made people understand that he was the master of this sky!

"Come on." He spoke, his voice resounding throughout the sky, "Beat me here!"

Ella stretched her hand far towards the sky, while looking up at the sky. When she put her head down, her eyes had changed, becoming sharp and intimidating.

"You are an astronomer, and I am an astronomer too. But Crodius - to be honest, I think I want to be more with you. In this era, in astronomy, I believe that I, Ella Cornelius Scipio, are the greatest!"

Her hands were raised high, as if she had supported a whole sky. As she waved her hand, the sun, moon and stars began to roll, pressing down on Crodisi with endless darkness.

The violent soul collision made Ella feel that her soul seemed to be in purgatory. This was the most painful time for her soul so far. Every darkness pressed against Crodisius, and her soul would suffer the pain of being pierced through the heart and ants sucking body. She let out a painful whine, but retreating here means that she would be imprisoned again on the top of the mountain, and Amy would be killed by Nesavalkoyotel. She could only grit her teeth and persevere, and continued to press the darkness towards Crodisius with all her might.

The darkness gradually surrounded Crodisius, causing Crodis to gasp in exhaustion. The collision became more intense, and it became more and more difficult to press down on the darkness. Every time the heavy darkness approached Crodisius, Ella suffered hundreds or thousands of pains comparable to death. Her spirit body was torn to pieces more than once, but with a ruthless force, she returned from the edge of collapse again and again and continued to put pressure on Crodisius.

Finally, Crodisi was completely swallowed by the darkness.

Ella fell to the ground all of a sudden, feeling that she had lost a thousand pounds of burden. Her spirit body had become exhausted in such a confrontation, which made her eyes look confused.

However--

"The stars are not destroyed, and I am not destroyed either."

The old and emotionless voice sounded again. The darkness rose again towards the sky, the moon, the stars, the Milky Way, and everything returned to its original position.

"You are indeed the greatest astronomer of this era." The voice continued with the emotionless words, "But you cannot defeat me, it is impossible in theory."

"Why?" Ella asked in despair, slight despair.

"Because the theory you are using is mine, it's just adding some trivial and irrelevant modifications to it. Do you think you can defeat me with my theory?"

As the sun and the moon whirled, Crodis stood in front of Ella again. It was a white-haired and white-bearded old man wearing a red round hat and wearing a traditional Toga robe from the Seven Hills Empire.

His voice was full of vicissitudes, as if it had come from a thousand years ago:
