1.1421 The Evil of Mediocrity

The Saxonyhausen concentration camp, surrounded by thick reinforced concrete walls and bunkers, has two distinct areas inside and outside. The outermost periphery is the beautiful environment and full of "civilized atmosphere". There are bars, cinemas, libraries, family areas and kindergartens, etc., and all convenient living facilities are built here. The inner circle of the death blockade line connected by dense high-voltage power grids, towering steep posts and rows of red brick walls and low buildings is the wooden barracks where prisoners live in fan-shaped distribution.

Initially, the predecessor of the concentration camp, the Saxethhausen Prison, was built in July 1936 for the detention of political prisoners. By the end of the year, about 1,600 prisoners were imprisoned here, most of whom were political prisoners. After the "Crystal Night" in November 1938, nearly 6,000 Jews were deported from all over Europe to Saxethhausen. Nearly a year later, the war broke out, and Jews living in the Berlin area were also sent to Saxethhausen.

In 1941, with the arrival of Soviet prisoners of war, the scale of the concentration camp continued to expand. It finally covered an area of 400 hectares and was arranged in a triangular shape. It was designed and built according to the requirements of the leader of the Nazi SS SS. Himmler. It had 50 prisoner barracks, a medical room, a prison and a medical experimental center, as well as a crematorium, morgue and gas chamber. It was considered to be the most "modern" concentration camp in Saxonyhausen.

The Nazis carried out genocide against the Jews held in the camp in accordance with the "final solution" secretly established by the "Wan Lake Conference". The camp was later expanded to sub-camps including industrialized areas around Saxonyhausen. In 1944, in order to deal with the Warsaw uprising, the Nazis deported 60,000-80,000 Polish civilians to concentration camps, of which 6,000 were sent to Saxonyhausen. It is estimated that 200,000 people were imprisoned in Saxonyhausen, and 30,000 were murdered there. This figure does not include Soviet prisoners of war, who were killed immediately as soon as they arrived because they had never even registered on the concentration camp list. How many people died in the Saxonyhausen concentration camp is no longer accurate.

In 1947, the Soviet military court sentenced 16 concentration camp officers and civil servants to guilt, including the last incumbent Saxonyhausen concentration camp commander, of which 14 were sentenced to life imprisonment (Oh my God, I read that right, sir. Only 2 Nazis were executed?).

Even with a brief glimpse of the "premiere train" slowly docking on the platform, the "SA3 Sisters Group" on the train was still touched by the creepy and gloomy atmosphere emitted by this hidden and efficient killing factory.

In the words of female director Leni Rivenstale, happiness and peace hidden by high walls are all ugly performances of the Nazis. They are completely superficial and do not touch the inner poor acting skills, but they are confused and deceive the whole world. Even in 1945, when the end of the road, the entire country was bombed into ruins and could not find a complete cinema. The masterpiece of the Third Reich "Korberg" that spared no effort to hold a hasty premiere at the Berlin Metro Station. Look, it is just like the catchphrase widely circulated in the Sicily studio: "The director doesn't shout to stop, so he will keep acting."

So, they kept acting.

Under the crazy brainwashing of the powerful Nazi national propaganda machine, citizens of the Third Reich still maintained high confidence in the "Battle" that swept across the continent. Except for a very small number of people such as the White Rose Organization, the entire country and even the people in the German-occupied areas all became Nazi believers and were very accomplices. In line with the very famous philosophical view of later generations - "evil of mediocrity".

"The Banality of Evil" refers specifically to a crime without thoughts and responsibilities under the ideological machine. It is a kind of "evil" that eliminates one's own thoughts, unconditional obedience to orders, and abandons the right to judge individual values.

Instead of saying: "Mediocrity is a sin."

The concept of mediocrity was made by Hannah, a famous Jewish political thinker.

Arendt first mentioned. On April 11, 1961, the Israeli government's trial of Adolf Eichmann, the leader of the Gestapo, was held in Jerusalem. The trial lasted until May 31, and Adolf Eichmann was finally sentenced to hang. At that time, Hannah Arendt reported the trial on the spot as a special contributor of the New Yorker, and published "Eichmann in Jerusalem - Report on the Eichmann Trial" in 1963, proposing the famous "evil of mediocrity" philosophical concept: that is, the sin committed by no thought, no judgment, and blindly obeying authority. Hannah Arendt believes that sin is divided into two types, one is the "extreme evil" of the totalitarian rulers themselves, and the second is the "evil of mediocrity" of the ruled or participants. The second is the "evil of mediocrity" of the ruled or participants. The second is the "evil of mediocrity" of the ruled or participants. The second is the "evil of mediocrity" of the first.

It is generally believed that the behavior that is not restricted or directly involved in obvious evils is mediocrity. For example, when the Nazis recruit guards and workers for concentration camps built by the locals, local residents compete to hire accordingly. This is a typical mediocrity. From this, it can be seen that the essence of mediocrity is another extreme evil that loses the ability to think. Hannah Arendt's work on mediocrity also includes "Responsibility and Judgment (Chinese version is "Resistance against "Mediocrity"").

However, this famous German-Jewish thinker and political theorist, with the help of Hiram Bingham IV, a US diplomat in Marseille, was exiled to the United States with her husband and mother as early as 1941. The American diplomat also did the same thing as "China Schindler" He Fengshan: "illegally" issued "life visas" to 2,500 Jewish refugees. At this time, Hannah Arendt, who lives in New York, had become an active member of the local German Jewish expatriates and a special contributor to a well-known political commentary magazine.

"Danielle, do you think our plot is also a bit 'mediocre'?" The second casting assistant Anna Moffett naturally thought: "Do nothing. Just sit back and watch these Nazis carry out an inhuman massacre according to the established plot."

Danielle, the leader of the "SA3 Sisters Group" and the chief casting assistant field girl, has never changed its focus: "Not intensifying the divergence line shown by plot conflicts is the core element of our plot adventure this time. As you said, this is the established plot line of all "World War II plot time and space". Although it is inevitable that deflection has occurred due to our intervention, only 'deflection' cannot completely reverse the direction of the entire plot. Moreover, the 9 broken shelters have long shown that players' intervention in the plot without bottom line will be a complete disaster. Especially as the "biggest villain" in the golden age of the shelter, the "now master" should be very careful."

Second casting assistant Anna Moffett asked with a smile: “So, is there any difference between ‘the current master’ and ‘the past master’?”

"Well..." I thought about it very seriously. Danielle, the leader of the "SA3 Sisters Group" and the chief casting assistant field girl, suddenly laughed: "No difference."
