chapter 18

The morning sun shines slanted down and falls on Nanting's silver-white eyelid feathers.

Yesterday's discomfort and pain have completely disappeared. The light element was sealed by the Dark God, and now only the pure dark element is left in her body.

Fanes sat beside her bed, facing the light, her long hair was draped softly on her shoulders, her slender silhouette was tall and dignified.

Nanting was slightly stunned: "You have been here all night?"

The god's red eyes became more and more gorgeous in the shadows, and the corners of his lips seemed to rise slightly: "Maybe I came here again early this morning?"

Nanting asked for confirmation without any intention and nodded: "Please avoid it, I will change my clothes."

After taking a shower and changing his clothes quickly, Nanting knocked on the door of the attic: "Let's go, let's check out."

The disrepaired wooden door opened with a creaking sound, and behind it was a black robe with a hooded hood. His upper half of his face was covered, revealing only the cold and graceful jawline and a few strands of long hair.

Nanting couldn't help laughing: "You really look like a villain like this." After that, she also pulled up her hood and covered the pointed elf's ears.

The dark god's thin lips bent slightly: "Let's go, my villain lady." He stretched out a hand to her.

Nanting's ear tips were a little hot uncontrollably, but fortunately she had already pulled her hood. While he was hesitating whether to extend her hand, the Dark God had already held her hand hanging down.

The morning in the town is fresh and noisy. The sun shines in the flowers on the roadside, and bellflowers and cornflowers sway in the wind. Butterflies and bees fly in the flowers. Mother goose takes a row of geese and walks past the edge of the stone road.

Several cats lying on the wall basking in the sun stared at Nanting with their green eyes. She couldn't help laughing and wanted to go over and rub them a few times, but the cold breath of the dark god scared them away.

"Do you like cats?" The Dark God asked her.

"I have raised it before." Nanting bent her eyes slightly, and a strand of silver hair fell out of her hood. She quickly raised her hand and stuffed it back.

The Dark God nodded and turned to the matter of spells: "The dark spells are divided into several factions such as 'necromance', 'curs', 'soul', 'demon', 'witchcraft', etc. Which one do you want to learn first?"

"That must be a necromancer!" Nanting shouted, thinking of the necromancer in games and film and television works. "How handsome is it to summon a bunch of skeleton zombies to suture monsters!"

"Very good, I appreciate your aesthetic." The God of Darkness chuckled, "Follow me to the cemetery."

"Come now?" Nanting asked, "Generally speaking, don't this kind of plot happen at night?"

"If you want to go tonight, it's not impossible." The Dark God thought seriously about this issue. "Although the atmosphere would be more weird, but..."

Nanting thought about it and immediately cut off the topic: "I think it's good to go now."

After passing a breakfast stall, I bought bread and milk and held it in my hand. Nanting followed the Dark God into the dark forest next to the town.

The sun cannot shine through the densely stacked leaves. Although it is spring now, the rotten leaves under your feet are still spread layer after layer. The air is filled with a certain atmosphere that is far away from the world. In the tranquility, crows occasionally chirp, and in the distance, the baby-like laughter of the man-eating vine comes from the distance.

The atmosphere is quite in the underworld.

Nanting was a little grateful that it was daytime now, and a few rays of light were falling from the gaps of dense leaves.

But then I thought about it, the scariest guy was walking next to her now, holding her hand.

Suddenly I felt that there was nothing to be afraid of.

During this time, the Dark God explained her magic knowledge:

"The 'witchcraft' faction is the basis of dark magic, covering many aspects such as potions, spells, magic and so on."

"The 'cursing' faction is a branch of the 'witchcraft' faction, which is good at cursing targets in blood, dolls, etc.."

"The wizards of the 'Demon' faction are more inclined to contract with the demons, obtain power beyond mortals, or transform themselves into demons..."

"As for the 'necrotary spirit' and 'soul', they control death together, one dominating the flesh/body, and the other dominating the spirit..."

Nanting listened quietly. She didn't emphasize this in the novels I read before, and she thought it was quite fresh.

"Now, are you sure you want to learn necromancers?" asked the Dark God with a smile.

In fact, after hearing that other factions were also very interesting, Nanting was not without a trace of his heart.

but--

All are here.

"It's okay," the God of Darkness touched her hair comfortably, "You'll learn all these sooner or later."

"All?" Nanting opened his eyes wide. A ray of light floating with dust fell on the ends of her hair, and it sprinkled into her emerald-like bright eyes as she moved forward.

"Yes." The God of Darkness stared at the side of the silver-haired girl, "But, don't worry. We're still a long time."

While talking, the two had already arrived at a clearing in the forest.

In front is a disrepaired church, with twisted vines crawling on the declining ruins. The angel statue next to the stone pillars has broken its wings and is eroded by the slippery green moss.

There is no doubt that this place has been abandoned for a long time and it is difficult to find any signs of human beings stepping into it. There are a few ghouls wandering in the cemetery behind the church.

Blooming white daisies surrounded the monster with dry skin and fangs on their faces. The broken tombstone lies flat in the embrace of the earth, with a kind of quiet and absurd weirdness.

"After learning the necromancer spell, can I control the ghoul?" Nanting asked in a low voice.

"Of course." The God of Darkness spoke lazily, and the sun shone a light halo for his hair, "But now, you need to start by controlling the skeleton."

"If I had searched for skeletons, would I be discovered by these ghouls?" Nanting stared at their skinny appearance, "It seems that they are very hungry."

"Then let's start the battle." The Dark God spoke casually, "Take out your scepter, my holy lady."

Nanting was stunned for a moment before realizing that the fragments of the "Scepter of the Moon" referred to as the "Scepter of the Moon", which was half a piece of the burning fire stick.

Its only advantage is its strength.

So she took out the "Scepter of Moon" and held it tightly with her hands like a sword, then raised her eyes to look at the ghoul in the cemetery.

They did not notice her hostility, it seemed that the distance was not close enough.

Nanting thought for a while and picked up a stone from the side of the road.

A puzzled smile appeared on the beautiful face of the Dark God: "What are you doing?"

Nanting blinked: "I plan to defeat one by one."

"Come on, my saint."

Nanting adjusted his breathing, first hid behind an angel sculpture, then poked out a head and a hand, and pointed the stone at the nearest ghoul!

——"Pick".

The angle of the stone was a little crooked, hitting a tombstone, making a crisp sound.

The ghouls looked over in unison.

Nanting quickly shrank his hands and head back, his heart pounding, and he tried his best to suppress his breathing.

After a while, the ghouls turned around and continued their aimless wandering.

Nanting picked up another stone.

Fortunately, this time it was successful. The ghoul who was recently disturbed twice and ran over with a grin.

Nanting: So ugly.

It's still pleasing to skeletons or something.

She sneaked into the church - fighting here should not attract the attention of other ghouls.

The Dark God stood leisurely under the light and shadow of the colorful window, cheering her up: "I know there is a place where the corpse of the ancient dragon is buried. Think about it, who wouldn't want to ride a dragon?"

Nanting really wants to answer "I don't want to".

But she made up for it. In the final battle, she summoned a dragon of undead in front of the believers of light, which must be very cool.

If you refuse, you can't say it all at once.

At this time, the ghoul had already chased after him, and his sharp claws flashing with cold light directly grabbed Nanting's face!

The original owner of Nanting's body was a nimble dark elf thief. Her habitual movements were faster than consciousness, and her waist was slightly tilted back, barely avoiding the attack of the ghoul.

After successfully dodging, the silver-haired girl raised the scepter in her hand and poked heavily at the ghoul's head!

After all, it was an undead creature without independent consciousness. The ghoul tilted his head blankly and was stabbed by the "Moon Scepter" before he could react.

A pure holy light suddenly flashed on the scepter, and immediately burned the ghoul's head, spraying out the disgusting sticky brain, splashing on the hem of her robe.

Nanting was slightly stunned for a moment, and took a few steps back with his scepter in his hand: "...I didn't expect it to be so simple."

"Of course it's because my saint is powerful." Farnes walked out from behind the dark pillar, with a lingering smile hidden in his long and narrow eyes.

Nanting knew it himself: "It should be better to say that this scepter is powerful."

"The one I hid just now was very beautiful." The God of Darkness praised him without hesitation.

"It's all luck." Nanting scratched his head, "What would happen if I didn't hide?"

"I will raise you." A pure and harmless smile appeared on the face of the Dark God.

Nanting:?

"You're really here?"

"This is a battle, not a drill." The Dark God smiled lazy, but because he was in the shadows, he felt a little lonely and cold. "Even if you are my favorite believer, you should understand this truth."

Nanting lowered her eyelashes in a little depressed state.

She was just an ordinary person. If she hadn't known that the God of Darkness was protecting her in secret, she might not have been able to muster up such courage to kill the enemy in one blow.

The Dark God sensed her emotions and added softly: "There is no difference between the resurrection and the original one, and there will be no disfigurement."

Nanting took a deep breath and walked into the light and shadows of the broken rose window: "Crown."

"I'm listening."

“If all you need is a ‘tool’ to fight for you, don’t get too close to her…”

Nanting's reason is completely acceptable to the Dark God's practice, if not... some unspeakable emotion is at work.

"No, you are not a 'tool'." The god in black robe walked over and hugged her in the mottled light and shadow. "I want you to become stronger, to make your glory far better than me, to make the world surrender to you. I did not consider that you might not have experienced such a real and bloody scene, so I took an extreme approach. I apologize to you."

Nanting raised his head slightly and held up Fanes' pale and handsome cheeks.
