Chapter 8 Fighting passersby 【Catch bugs】(2/2)

She understood that she had received something as precious as human beings, the trust of a respectable warrior. Whether temporarily or for a long time, she felt sincere joy for it.

She grabbed Batman's stiff arm and took him to the shore with the muttering "I hope you won't be airsick". She immediately easily and happily threw the somewhat hard bat and the two little birds who came to meet, and accelerated to the ship in a few steps. She quickly moved all the people to the shore and rushed to the middle of the Harbor Square.

There was the highest signal tower in Gotham Harbor. Freya moved a little and pressed her hands firmly on the base of the signal tower. The towering signal tower made a squeaking sound, but it could not resist this inhuman power and was gradually broken by the roots. Freya raised it in her hand and soared into the air.

It was like a wide sword slashing from top to bottom, and the tower filled with huge force hit the deck of the Florence, and the entire cargo ship sank from the middle.

The sound of metal collisions that make people feel sour.

"I don't think I want to date again soon." Nightwing's words came from afar.

Freya raised the rest of the tower and another blow - the ship let out a final cry, breaking into two pieces from the middle.

The hull capsizes and the waves swell.

The perpetrator gracefully clapped the ashes on his hands and fell on the breakwater.

"Are you an alien?" Ye Yi couldn't help it and asked, "You know how much you look like Superman, right?"

Freya smiled: "I'm not Kryptonian. OK, boys, since the matter is settled, it's time to see our trophy."

She looked at the box that Batman was holding, wondering what kind of chemical weapons made people radiate such a large formation.

Batman knocked on the box in his hand and said in a husky voice: "Can't open it here."

"So, what is this?" Ye Yi asked.

They all looked at the box in Batman's hand, which looked like it was made of lead and very heavy.

Batman didn't speak, but from his attitude, he seemed to have figured out what it was.

"A weapon." Hesitated for a moment, and finally he said.

Freya tilted her tongue dissatisfied under her mask, but she accepted the statement. "Since poisons and weapons have not flowed into the city, and you said that the police cannot guarantee that they will hold things in their hands, then it is yours. The only thing is that you can guarantee that they will not use the things inside to hurt others?"

Batman looked at her and made a promise. "Only when necessary."

Freya nodded.

She was willing to believe that Gotham's protectors could handle these things themselves, just as she believed in every other person.

The sound of the sirens was clearly heard, and the battle came to an end.

They had already taken a few steps apart, and Freya was walking at the end. She hesitated for a moment and still spoke.

"What?" Hong Hairmao looked back.

"What should I do about the losses here? I still have some money," she said.

"Don't worry about it," said Nightwing, "we have all dealt with the criminals. As for the port, the Wayne Group will restore it to its original state in a few days."

Batman's tall figure stood there quietly, as if he had agreed with this statement.

"Is this the rule of your Gotham?" Freya looked full of question marks. She pointed to the Red Hood and Nightwing. "You two have ruined half of the warehouse." Then he pointed to Batman, "You sank a ship," and finally pointed to herself, "I pulled up the signal tower of Gotham Harbour, and then we let Wayne lose money?"

"Technically, that's it." Red Hood said sarcastically, "this is Gotham's rule, Bats get into trouble and Wayne loses money. We're just a sidekick."

Freya seemed to suddenly understand why Wayne said Gotham didn't need Batman.

"Oh." She said dryly, "Would I give him something? Does he like the fruit basket or the thank you letter?"

Batman glanced at her without emotion.

The author has something to say: Freya, who originally thought she was a big shot, met a real big shot
