Chapter 1645 Buying Sheep(2/3)

The ranch is not that big, and there is an old sign at the door that says something like "Fresh Lamb for Sale" in Russian, as well as a string of contact numbers provided in a metal book.

Through the wooden fence, he could still see a wooden house and a yurt, as well as an old-looking Kavazi van and two motorcycles.

Just as he was looking at the buildings in the fence in a daze, a young man who looked to be in his early 20s, with yellow skin and black hair, and a typical Buryat appearance, was already riding a motorcycle from behind.

She stopped next to him and took the initiative to knock on the car window.

"Hello, are you okay?" Wei Ran asked while lowering the window.

"Are you going to buy a sheep?" the young man riding a motorcycle asked enthusiastically.

"Is this your family's pasture?" Wei Ran asked, pointing to the pasture outside the car window.

"right"

The young man nodded, "My sheep have a high meat yield and are cheap. Do you want to take a look?"

“I probably won’t buy much.”

Wei Ran said in advance, "I was just passing by and saw this brand, and I was still hesitating whether to buy a sheep or not."

After the young man finished speaking, he rode his motorcycle through the barbed wire gate not far away, not forgetting to wave to Wei Ran.

Seeing this, Wei Ran simply stepped on the accelerator and followed, driving the car into the pasture.

When the car passed around the wooden house and the yurt, he also saw the sheep grazing in the distance, as well as a few shepherd dogs running wildly around the sheep.

When he opened the door and got off the car, the young man had already parked his motorcycle and was walking towards him.

"What do you call him?" Wei Ran asked, taking the initiative to give him a cigarette.

"Ivan"

When the young man took the cigarette, he gave an extremely popular name, "What is your name?"

"Victor"

Wei Ran took the initiative to light the cigarette for the other party, "I'm buying a sheep from you, can you help me process it?"

"Of course no problem!"

Ivan replied without thinking, "I will kill it for you. If you are not in a hurry, I can even help you process it into cooked meat that can be eaten directly and vacuum-pack it."

"That's really great. I was actually wondering how to eat it as soon as possible if I bought a sheep."

Wei Ran followed the topic and followed the other person walking inside.

"What kind of sheep do you want to buy?"

Ivan asked, "Big, small, fat or thin? If you want to buy something cheap, we still have culled sheep."

"Bring a lamb"

Wei Ran said casually, "You also sell lambs, right?"

"Of course, we also have ewes with babies."

After saying that, Ivan had already picked up the whistle hanging around his neck and blew several times of varying lengths.

After receiving the signal, the shepherd dogs in the distance immediately became energetic. In just a few minutes, they drove the hundred and ten sheep into the sheep pen next to the yurt.

"Mr. Victor, you can choose whatever you like. Whichever one you like, I can help you catch it." Ivan said while stroking the shepherd dog that came up to take credit.

"I think you must be more professional than me in this kind of thing"

Wei Ran glanced at an old man who was about sixty years old and wearing a Mongolian robe who emerged from the yurt and said, "Just choose the one with the most tender meat. I want a castrated lamb."

"You are really easy to talk to, and you are not a layman who doesn't know anything."

Ivan had already put out his cigarette before he finished speaking, and quickly climbed over the fence. After some selection, he easily caught a dog that looked about the same size as the shepherd dog, with a stain on his butt.

A bunch of pink lambs.

"Mr. Victor, how about this one?"

As Ivan spoke, he had already picked up the lamb by its hind legs and showed the small scars on its crotch, "It was castrated."

"That's it"

Wei Ran pretended to be generous and said, "How about I give you 30,000 rubles and help me cook it?"

"Of course no problem!"

Ivan agreed without thinking. No matter how processed the lamb was, it would not be able to sell for such a high price. "Sir, how do you want to eat it? Roasted or stewed?"

"Make it something you're good at."

As Wei Ran spoke, he had already taken out his wallet, counted out 30,000 rubles in cash and handed it to the other party, "Can I go see your yurt? I want to take some photos."

"Of course no problem!"

After Ivan finished speaking, he shouted to the old man at the door of the yurt, "Dad, this friend wants to sit in our yurt. He bought a lamb and wants to try our craftsmanship."

"Please come in and sit down."

The old man said in an easy-going manner, "I just made milk tea. If you don't mind, you can come in and have a drink."

"Just give the money to my father, and I will kill the sheep now."

As Ivan spoke, he had already carried the little lamb to the side of the yurt, and ended the life of the little lamb in front of Wei Ran. He then used a hammer to pry off one of the lamb's teeth and wrapped it in a tissue.

He handed it to Wei Ran and said, "After I finish processing it, you can use this tooth to verify that I didn't switch the package."

"It doesn't matter"

Wei Ran waved his hand, "I believe you are an honest young man."

After saying that, Wei Ran walked up to the old man and handed him a wad of banknotes in his hand.

"It's been a long time since I met such a generous guest as you."

The old man took the money, counted it, put it in his pocket, and warmly invited Wei Ran to get into the yurt with the stove lit.

“Please feel free to sit down”

As the old man spoke, he had already picked up an enamel kettle, found a silver-covered wooden bowl, and poured Wei Ran a cup of milk tea.

"What's your name?" Wei Ran asked politely as he took the milk tea.

"I don't have a Russian name"

As the uncle spoke, he brought another plate of food such as milk dumplings, "My Mongolian name is Aoriqi."

"So you are from Mongolia?" Wei Ran asked curiously.

"yes"

Aoriqi smiled and nodded, seemingly not shying away from his origins, "My wife is from Ulan-Ude. During the Soviet era, she was a Soviet military doctor stationed in Ulaanbaatar."

Before he finished speaking, an old Buryat lady with a kind-faced look, also wearing a Mongolian robe, with yellow skin and black hair, also walked in carrying a bucket of firewood.

"Aoriqi, are there any guests?" After the old lady finished speaking, she greeted Wei Ran warmly.

"A generous young man"

Aoriqi laughed and said, "I was about to tell him the romantic love story between us. Young man, this is my Soviet wife Lyudmila."

"Mrs. Lyudmila, I am honored to be a guest in your home, and I am also honored to hear your love story." Wei Ran said with a smile.

“What a good boy”

Mrs. Lyudmila greeted Wei Ran enthusiastically and said, "I'll bring you some fruit."

"Sorry to trouble you," Wei Ran said with a smile.

"Sit down quickly"

Ao Riqi asked Wei Ran to sit down again, "Try our milk tea, I just cooked it ten minutes ago."

As he spoke, Wei Ran picked up the tea bowl. He tapped the bowl with his ring finger very formally and flicked it into the air. Then he dipped it again and it bounced to the ground. Then he dipped it for the third time and gently touched it in Ao Riqi's surprised eyes.

He tapped it on his forehead, then brought the silver-coated wooden bowl to his mouth and took a sip.

"Are you also a Mongolian?" Aoriqi asked in surprise.

"I am Chinese"

Wei Ran smiled and put down the wooden bowl, "We in China also have Mongolian brothers and sisters."

"Are you Chinese?!"

Ao Riqi even raised his voice a little, and then he couldn't help but shake his head, and muttered something in Mongolian that Wei Ran couldn't understand.

"Uncle Aoriqi, I'm still waiting to hear the romantic love story between you and Aunt Lyudmila." Wei Ran reminded him with a smile, but he was not in a hurry to express his intention.

"Curious young man"

Ao Riqi came back to his senses and laughed and put down the milk tea, "Lyudmila was once a military doctor who was supported by the Soviet Union in Mongolia. At that time, my family had a large pasture near Ulaanbaatar."

"So you already know each other?" Wei Ran asked curiously.
