chapter 12
"Even if I read one book every minute and stay sleeplessly, it will take seven or eight days to read it."
"It's still a bit too nervous in 10 days!"
Thinking in his heart, Han Sheng was not in a hurry.
From Master Zhenxing, he already knew that as long as he reached the realm of transformation, he could watch it on the first floor of the Sutra Pavilion for ten days.
If there is not enough time, he only needs to improve his skills such as Arhat Fist, Vajra Fist to the realm of transformation. After dozens of days, he can always read the first level of the book collection.
"There is also the second floor of the Sutra Pavilion, so I can go and see it, but there is nothing I can do about the third floor."
"I hope there will be other ways at that time!"
According to the first level of collecting acquired classics and the second level of collecting innate classics, the second level of collecting innate classics is mostly helpful to the master's realm. In terms of the realm of Han Sheng's previous life, even at the peak, it is generally this level.
The third level of classics can naturally imagine how tempting it is to him.
"Master, Grandmaster..."
"Relics, golden body..."
"It's really desirable!"
As Han Sheng sighed in his heart, he kept walking to the first bookshelf.
I saw that the bookshelf were full of the catalogues of the first floor library and the changes in the books. Han Sheng looked at it roughly and was shocked, and he realized the background of the Vajra Gate:
"It turns out that in addition to the open collection of books, there are also several times more classics in the basement of the Sutra Pavilion."
"No matter what books are collected on the surface or the books that have been collected, you can find traces on this bookshelves."
As one of the ten major sects in the world, the Vajra Sect not only has a long history, but also has endless masters. If every person who has achieved success in cultivation leaves his experience in practicing in the Sutra Pavilion, the Vajra Sect’s accumulation over hundreds of years is obviously far more than this.
"Marriage must be advanced, and the future is better than today!"
"The Vajra Gate respects ancestors, but never superstitates ancestors."
"So, those methods that were old and not suitable for contemporary times were sealed underground even by the authors of their ancestors."
"Most of the things collected on bookshelf are more suitable for the contemporary era and have no hidden dangers."
"No wonder over the past few hundred years, the Vajra Sect has become more and more powerful. Even if it undergoes major changes, it is still one of the top ten sects."
With these feelings in his heart, Han Sheng thought of what Zhigang said again, and understood why he was so proud of his cultivation experience on the bookshelf:
"After hundreds of years of accumulation, most of the classics on the bookshelf of the Sutra Pavilion have been tempered and verified by countless people."
"The authors of these classics are either innate masters or acquired perfect masters."
"Zhi Gang was able to keep his cultivation experience on the bookshelf of the Sutra Pavilion at a level of less than the acquired perfection. No wonder he was so proud!"
If you can leave your cultivation experience without the acquired perfection, Zhigang will have unique features in the cultivation of the Golden Bell Cover. Otherwise, even if the elders of the Sutra Pavilion recognize Zhigang's potential, they will not leave his cultivation experience on the bookshelf in advance.
While sighing and flipping through, Han Sheng quietly consumed his source power and activated the recording power of the Thousand Eyes Bodhi Bead.
The outsiders were unaware of it, but in Han Sheng's sea of consciousness, he could see that the classics, like images, were thrown into the black dots of the Thousand-Eyed Bodhi Bead. As long as Han Sheng needed it, he could re-search these precipitated books in the blink of an eye.
In this way, half a day later, all the classics on the first bookshelf had been included by Han Sheng. After confirming that there were no omissions, Han Sheng walked to the second bookshelf and watched the classics.
There is no martial arts on the second bookshelves, but there are Buddhist scriptures. Among them, the largest number are the various translations of the Diamond Sutra, followed by the Heart Sutra of Prajna and the Zen scriptures such as the Sixth Patriarch.
Obviously, the most important Buddhist studies in Vajra Temple, or Buddhist studies related to martial arts, are these.
"The Diamond Gate is named after the Diamond Sutra, you must read it."
"The Heart Sutra of Prajna is the first classic of Mahayana Buddhism, and people in Buddhism must naturally learn it."
"As for the "Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch", it shows that Vajra Temple belongs to Zen Buddhism and tends toward the sudden method of the Southern School."
The founder of Zen Buddhism is said to be Bodhidharma, and the following is Huike, Sengcan, and Daoxin. After the fifth ancestor Hongren, it was divided into Shenxiu, the Northern School and Huineng, the Southern School. Both were called the Sixth Patriarch. Shenxiu practiced the gradual method and advocated gradual enlightenment; Huineng practiced the sudden method and advocated sudden enlightenment. The difference can be realized from the two of them:
Shenxiu Yue: The body is a Bodhi tree, and the heart is like a mirror platform. Wipe it frequently and do not cause dust.
Huineng's Verse: Bodhi has no tree, and a bright mirror is not a platform. There is nothing originally, so where can dust be caused?
As a scripture that records Huineng's teachings, the Vajra Gate holder of the "Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch" is in an important position, which obviously also shows that the Vajra Gate tends toward the Southern School and advocates the practice of sudden Dharma.
"No wonder Master Shenji and others chose talented and extraordinary young men."
"A disciple who practices hard and works diligently like Zhigang is not taken seriously."
"A smart and smart person has much more chance of enlightenment than ordinary people!"
Looking at these scriptures and thinking about what he saw these days, Han Sheng understood a little more clearly.
Having realized something in his mind, Han Sheng picked up a "Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch" and opened it casually. He happened to see the fifth ancestor Hongren preaching to the Sixth Patriarch Huineng. When talking about the Diamond Sutra, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng realized that all things are inseparable from one's own nature. He also said to the fifth ancestor Hongren:
"How could one expect that one's own nature is originally pure?
How could one expect that one's nature will not be born or destroyed?
How could one expect that one’s nature is inherently complete?
How could I expect my nature to be unshakable?
How could one expect one's own nature to produce all things?"
As soon as you realize something, you will fall into meditation.
Next to the Sutra Pavilion, in the meditation room where Han Sheng and Monk Zhijue visited, Master Zhenxing was practicing and was suddenly awakened by the Zen meaning coming from the Sutra Pavilion.
His brow frowned slightly, and the Master Zhensheng concentrated on his senses, and suddenly smiled, and said with satisfaction:
"I actually realized it now!"
"Not bad, really good!"
Transmitting the voice to call Monk Zhijue and gave another order.
After listening to Master Zhenxing's instructions, Monk Zhijue did not ask questions, but he was also confused.
When he returned to the Sutra Pavilion, he was about to see what Han Sheng did and Master Zhenxing paid so much attention, but he heard a burst of laughter from the Sutra Pavilion:
"How could I expect my nature to be unshakable?"
"How could I expect my own nature to be unmoved!"
"Ha ha ha ha……"
"So that's it! So that's it!"
