Chapter 52: The Biting Chill

The bandits behind were all wearing torches, some holding big knives in their hands, and some holding muskets, following the military advisors and walked into the gate of the charity village one after another.

Under the illumination of several torches that were burning, the entire charity village was bright.

Jin Batian looked around the room. In addition to the corpses behind the door, there were also a few large coffins, some simple tables, chairs, benches, and two very clean wooden beds. There was nothing else in the room.

The room seemed very empty, dull, and more gloomy. Although it was midsummer, there was always a cool and cold wind passing by in the room, causing several people to unconsciously fight.

Didn’t they say there were two people driving the corpse? Where were they? Jin Batian looked at the military advisor and asked coldly.

The military advisor glanced into the house and said panickedly: The boss, at that time, my brothers did see two corpse-drivers entering this charity village. Will they see us coming? They are scared away?

Jin Batian did not respond and walked back and forth in the room for a few steps. Finally, his eyes fell on the corpses by the wall. He walked slowly over with a big knife and began to carefully examine the corpses.

Most of these corpses were wearing looser shrouds, standing in front, with a yellow paper talisman that could cover most of their faces on their foreheads, so they couldn't see their faces clearly.

Somehow, Jin Batian suddenly became very curious about these corpses. He wanted to see what the faces behind these yellow paper talismans looked like.

He first walked to a tall male corpse, carefully used the big knife in his hand to lift the yellow paper talisman on his forehead. When the full face of the male corpse was completely displayed in front of him, Jin Batian's eyes suddenly widened, and a biting chill instantly spread throughout his body, causing him to take two steps back unconsciously, and the big knife in his hand almost fell to the ground.

The male corpse had one eye wide open and covered with blood, and the other eye was gone, with only a bloody blood hole, which looked very terrifying.

His eyes gave people a feeling of extreme anger and resentment, staring at everyone present

Jin Batian suddenly felt that the male corpse in front of him looked very familiar. He seemed to have seen it somewhere, but he couldn't remember it for a while.

Second head, come and see this corpse. I seem to have seen it somewhere. Look at the military advisor who knows Bu Jin Batian, who greets him not far away.

The military advisor quickly walked to Jin Batian's side, took a big knife from the bandit beside him, and picked up the yellow paper talisman on the head of the male corpse in front of him. He just glanced at it and screamed in fear. The big knife in his hand also fell to the ground, and said tremblingly: I know this person from the boss, or did you kill him? You forgot.

Oh, Jin Batian turned his head and looked at the military advisor, and said with a puzzled look: I have killed too many people, how can I remember so many times when did I kill him?
