The Powerful Ministers

On October 11, the Secretariat of the Jin Dynasty submitted a memorial: Emperor Mingzong of Goryeo, Wang Hao, submitted a memorial to retire, and asked his younger brother Wang Xu to handle the national affairs in the name of power and state affairs.

On the other day, Zhao Gou's wife, 8-year-old Empress Dowager Wu, died in Shouci Palace.

The grassroots work prohibited by the pseudo-school party starts from the scientific examination. The middle-level members stipulate that all disciples of Taoism are not allowed to serve as dispatches in Beijing. All Jinshi and Tai students who have passed the examination in previous years must find out whether it is a "pseudo-school party" or other officials recommend it, and other aspects of Jinshi settlement and other aspects. They must specifically indicate the "this pseudo-school student is willing to receive court orders" in relevant documents...

At the high end, the matter is the most serious! The Yuanfeng list of the Northern Song Dynasty, the revival of the Yuanyou Monument. Han Tuozhou officially listed the list of pseudo-education and rebellion parties on January 9: Among them, 4 priests (Zhao Ruyu, Liu Zheng, Zhou Bida, Wang Lin) and one person above (Zhu Xi, Xu Yi, Peng Guinian, Chen Fuliang, Xue Shusi, Zhang Ying, Zheng Xi, Lou Yu, Lin Dazhong, Huang You, Huang Fu, He Yi, Sun Fengji) One ordinary official, military general, and 8 Tai students (Qingyuan Six Gentlemen Add Cai Yuanding and Lu Zutai)

To be honest, about 1/ of these 59 people have nothing to do with Taoism and Zhu Xi. The reason why he is famous on the list is because he participated in the anti-Korea alliance...

This party struggle occupies an important position in the history of the Southern Song Dynasty, and it is said that the harm to the Southern Song Dynasty was unparalleled! The original saying is "Before Shaoxi, the customs were favored at the moment, and those who were scholars liked to talk about current affairs, while those who were officials liked to establish fame." After the party ban, "the world was destroyed to become a perfect world, and the truth was changed to a flatterer, and the misfortune of the flow of style was invincible."

Look at this: It seems like filial piety. The scholars and officials of both dynasties were very positive, without inaction, and would not talk all day long. It was after the ban of Han Tuozhou in the Ningzong Dynasty that the world was destroyed. No one dared to do work or speak...

It seems that only Qin Hui and Qin Gong had such great power in the Song Dynasty, right? Han Tuozhou's "pseudo-study party ban" was not a single person except for the abnormal deaths of Zhao Ruyu and Zhu Xi, and he did not see anyone going to prison and was sentenced to death. It lasted only 7 years. Compared with the party struggles that lasted for decades during the Yuan Dynasty and Shaosheng periods of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty and Shaosheng periods, it was completely incomparable?

And in the later period, Han Tuozhou was very tolerant. According to records, an official called Zhao Lingxian was invited to visit the Han Mansion and hastily put the "Analects of Confucius" annotated by Zhu Xi, who was reading, into his sleeve. When he was delivering his tribute, the book fell on the ground. Zhao Lingxian was frightened and thought that a disaster was coming, but Han Tuozhou just smiled...

Perhaps in Han Tuozhou's mind, Taoism and others are just some unworthy clowns? They beat them aside and don't have to pay attention to it anymore...

After the party ban and brought down all the enemies, Han Tuozhou looked around and felt a little confused. At that time, he challenged Zhao Ruyu because he was uneasy and could not stand the idleness. Who would have thought that he could not stop and fought all the way, and there was no way ahead. So he looked up and found a reality - he had become the most powerful minister of the dynasty?

This result made Han Tuozhou a little uncomfortable. After all, his long-distance official journey did not determine the terminal of Quan Xiang from the beginning. But since he reached the second among the four major power ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty since Qin Hui (ranked in chronological order), who would let go? So Han Tuozhou firmly grasped this hard-won authority and decided not to give anyone!

Han Tuozhou's path to being a powerful minister was a unique special existence between the two Song dynasties. He had many titles and was granted a title until he was no longer promoted! The Han family also reached the fifth generation of the founding of the festival, which was unique in the history of the Song Dynasty!

Han Tuozhou's power exceeded Cai Jing, reaching the level of Qin Hui. Cai Jing could not cover the sky with one hand, and Liang Shicheng and others were divided into power, and internal and external depended on each other to restrict each other. Qin Hui took over the world, and even Zhao Gou had to retreat. In essence, Qin Hui was a traitor, and he could reach this point because the Jurchens in the north supported him! Han Tuozhou relied on himself purely on himself, and did it without foreign aid. In a few years, "the prime minister was promoted and demoted" and "all court officials went to his door". The status of the second most powerful minister of the Southern Song Dynasty was unshakable!

But don’t be shocked by the scary titles above his head, those are actually just honorary titles! But Han Tuozhou’s actual position is just... Zhihemen Affairs and Privy Council are both obeying the orders! Zhihemen Affairs is a royal senior waiter, and the Privy Council is both obeying the orders of the Privy Council. The salary is not low, equivalent to the minister of the six ministries, but the level is still not up, just a clerk!

This man commanded the world with such a position, and no one dared not to obey! In 2019, Song Shi was such a wonderful person. As for why he did this? Historians of all generations guessed that this was more appropriate than him who was really the prime minister and arbitrarily government, because no one said that his relatives were tyrannical...

As life passes day by day, Han Tuozhou's beautiful life has been floating in the clouds. At work, the Prime Minister will hand him the blank documents stamped with the official seal, and he will write whatever he writes, and even reviews. In life, he walks around Lin'an City, chooses a good place to build a house, and finds that there are people living in a good location, like the Wangxian Bridge... He can't let the Empress Dowager and the others move out? There is no way, so he has to look for it again. He continues to walk, but he finds a mountain called Luotuo Ridge. It's here! He cuts mountains and cuts forests on this mountain, builds buildings and pavilions, and builds a huge and exquisite mansion! For a long time, after night, he will climb the mountain and enter the house, singing and dancing to the dan...

It's wonderful, right? Under the Camel Ridge is the Taimiao! The imperial system: No one is allowed to touch any grass or tree around the Taimiao! Its sensitivity is higher than that of the imperial palace, and its sacredness is comparable to that of heaven and earth. In the Jingkang crisis, nothing can be abandoned, but the ancestral tablets in the Taimiao must be moved away!

This is great. Han Tuozhou drinks and has fun every evening on the top of the mountain, and looks down at the ancestors of the Zhao family on the railing. How can he be so arrogant? He must have cut off his head if he has ten heads. The whole family will be exiled, causing trouble to Han Qi... it's normal. But nothing happened!

Song Ningzong Zhao Kuo knew about this, and his face was expressionless, and he could not see joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness... Some people couldn't help but guess: Is the emperor cunning and deep, planning to fatten the Korean tribe before killing him? This is unknown, another thing happened soon, which made more people's glasses fall on the ground!

Song Ningzong Zhao Kuo led his ministers to Cifu Palace to meet Empress Dowager Wu. After the ceremony, Qi returned to the palace. As soon as he walked outside the gate, someone suddenly reported that Han Tuozhou was here! Just like someone ordered, the people present suddenly turned around! The attendants and ministers immediately turned back and lined up in two rows, holding court scepters, waiting respectfully, as if the supreme people in the world came! The real Emperor of Song was left aside!

Such power will of course be reflected in daily life! Only take the gifts and items collected at the birthday party this year as an example: That time, from the priest, the attendant, the supervisor, and the commander, all of them were fighting for birthday gifts. I won’t go into details outside Lin'an City, but only talk about the officials in the city:

Xu Jizhi, Minister of Personnel, presented ten red-tooth fruit tables, which were very delicate and restrained, and were considered to be a self-respecting identity. Qian Xiangzu, Minister of Works, was a close friend of the Korean family, and was afraid that the birthday ceremony was not heavy. He presented ten pairs of pearls with his crotch, which were dazzling and magnificent. He was the old item of a princess in the Northern Song Dynasty when she got married.

The birthday gift of Zhao Shi, the eighth-generation grandson of King Zhao Dezhao of Lin'an, was the most unexpected! He did not prepare a gift list, but only held a small wooden box. "There is nothing to offer for a poor scholar, only Xiaoguo chats with a cup of wine." Open the box, and everyone took a breath of air conditioning!

It is a grape trellis made of red millet gold. There are hundreds of fruits on it, all of which are the best Dongzhu! It is indeed a "small fruit"...

I don’t know if there is a higher level in the world. Speaking of enjoyment, Han Tuozhou is even more comfortable than the genuine emperor. Because he has the power of the emperor, he does not have to be restricted by the throne...

Day after day, Han Tuozhou rippled in the ocean of happiness. After a long time, he finally felt that such a life was boring...

Up to this point, Han Tuozhou is not as good as the emperor. He has been the only one in the years and has long developed a momentum to look down on the world. When the enjoyment of various comforts is no longer favored, he naturally has to pursue excitement! And what kind of excitement can be higher than conquest?

In January, Ji Duanxiu, the Censor of the Jin Kingdom, wrote a letter to ask the emperor to stay away from the villain. Jin Zhangzong ordered his brother Li Renhui to go and ask "Who is the villain? Just tell me the name directly." Ji Duanxiu said directly to Li Renhui, "The villain is you and your younger brother Li Tie! You rely on your sisters as the emperor's favorite concubine to interfere in the government affairs and do whatever you want." Later, Ji Duanxiu wrote a memorial to impeach the letter of the Privy Council Wanyan Kuang, and the fortune envoy Wen Fang.

In January of the 4th year of Qingyuan (1198), Lin'an magistrate Zhao Shi, after offering "little fruits" to celebrate Han Tuozhou's birthday in the previous year, he bought Beizhu and privately donated ten concubines of Han Tuozhou. On the Lantern Festival, the concubines went out to travel and were really glorious. So they reciprocate, and their concubines blew pillows in Han Tuozhou's ears, fighting to be Zhao Shi's "seeking an official position". So on the 18th, Zhao Shi was appointed as the Minister of Works and was still the governor of Lin'an.

In the month, Wanyan Xiang submitted a memorial: I would like to send Wanyan Zonghao to send troops from Taizhou on Linhuangfu Road, Jiaguheng sent troops from Fuzhou on Xijing Road, and he sent troops from Linhuangfu to attack Mongolia in three directions. Jin Zhangzong agreed to attack three directions, take the things from the inner trunk to reward the front line, and specially gave Wanyan Xiang's sword. On the 18th, the Seku tribe surrendered to Jiaguheng in Fuzhou.

In the month, the Privy Councilor Wanyan Xiang completely gave up the idea of using force to conquer the rebellion of Mongolian tribes. He submitted a memorial to the court: he requested to build a boundary moat from the Linhuang Prefecture to Taizhou. That's right! This boundary moat is actually the only magic weapon used by the Han regimes in all dynasties to defend the land - a copy of the Great Wall! Wanyan Xiang tried to use this kind of fortification, rather than the horses, swords and guns used by the Jurchens when they founded the country to resist the threat from the Mongols in the north... Many people say that this kind of boundary moat is actually not worthy of dependence. The emperor also hesitated, and Wanyan Xiang resolutely said that "the cost of building boundary moats now requires a million yuan. However, after completion, the border defense can be consolidated and the garrison troops can be reduced, and three million yuan can be saved in half a year. And once and for all, the power of lenient people's transfer." Jin Zhangzong finally issued an edict to recognize Wanyan Xiang's plan.

Wanyan Xiang personally supervised the front line, and the military and civilians worked together, and recruited hungry people to build it together. It took more than 50 days to build a boundary trench with a walled castle built on the inside! At the same time, Wanyan Zonghao repelled the Mongolian army's attack in Taizhou and killed more than half.

After that, the Mongolian tribes successively expressed their surrender to the Jin Kingdom. So the north of the Great Jin Kingdom finally came to a temporary tranquility. Wanyan Xiang returned to Linhuang Palace and reduced the number of troops to 40,000 and 10,000 horses...

On May, Han Tuozhou was granted the title of Young Master and was given a jade belt.

On August 11, Xie Shenfu was appointed as the Chief Privy Council, and the Minister of Personnel Xu Jizhi was promoted to the Chief Privy Council. After Xu Jizhi presented ten red-tooth fruit tables on Han Tuozhou's birthday last year, this year, he was late for Han Tuozhou's birthday. As a result, the guards of the Han Mansion did not allow him to enter the door. "What inner and outer parts? The Tathagata must wait in the morning for his birthday. When is it now?" As a last resort, Xu Jizhi actually crawled into a dog hole next to the Han Mansion. After this incident spread, people said that Xu Jizhi was "ruled by Shangshu Dou."
