Chapter 134: Comprehension
The general, or the general, of the general, had passed one day and one night, and there was no movement in the hut in the middle. Master Qiushui once visited the small courtyard outside the house. After a long time, he left with a sigh.
Only Zhixiang has been standing in the courtyard outside the house since Jiangchen entered that room, waiting with unexpected patience.
No one knew why Zhixiang stood here, but other monks from Qinglong Temple, including Master Qiushui, did not ask him, and Zhixiang was standing alone and persistently, as if waiting for something.
The setting sun is like blood, reflecting the sunset in the west sky red. From a distance, there seems to be a layer of fine golden light on the edge of the clouds, which is very beautiful. The beautiful scenery of the world is actually around you, only to see or not, whether you are interested or not.
Zhixiang looked at the sunset in the distance, and was stunned. After standing for a day and night, he seemed to have no sign of fatigue on his pretty face, but instead, there was a deep light of wisdom flashing in his clear eyes.
"What are you looking at?" Suddenly, a voice sounded from his side. Zhixiang was suddenly shocked and woke up from his thoughts. He saw that Master Qiushui had come to this courtyard again at some point, standing beside him, looking at him with a smile.
Zhixiangheshi replied: "Report to Master, my disciple is looking at the sunset in the west, and suddenly he has realized something, and even got out of his mind. He did not know that Master has arrived and has been neglected."
Master Qiushui smiled and said, "Don't care about the common etiquette, I don't know where you have learned from the sunset in the west?"
Zhixiang pondered slightly and said, "Disciple stood here for a day and night, watching the stars at night and seeing the blue sky. At this moment, the prosperity faded away and the sun was sinking, leaving only a little light shining on the west sky. I don't feel sad in my heart. Life is like this, time is like this, and everything in the world is like this. The disciple doesn't know that being born between the heaven and earth is so small as a drop in the ocean. What does life mean?"
Master Qiushui nodded and said, "You really have extraordinary wisdom, disciple. All things in this world have their own destiny. Therefore, although they change thousands of times, they will eventually have their own way of not defying the destiny. It is already amazing that you can understand this level of truth from the rising and sinking of the sun."
Zhixiang respectfully bowed to Master Qiushui and said, "Thank you for your praise, Master, I dare not take it. But although my disciple has gained some understanding, my heart is more and more confusion. I am puzzled. Since the destiny has been settled, all things will eventually wither. Why are these countless people busy all their lives and entangled in the grievances and loves of the world? My Buddha said that all sentient beings can be saved, but sentient beings may not be willing to be saved by my Buddha. Why? Does the Buddha say that the Western Paradise, without resentment, hatred, ruthlessness and desire, can't attract these sentient beings? I am ignorant, please give me advice."
After saying that, Zhixiang lowered his head and chanted the Buddha's name with one another.
Master Qiushui looked at Zhixiang for a long time, nodded slowly, with a smile on his face, but did not answer immediately. Instead, he looked at the sunset in the west that Zhixiang had just looked at. After a moment of attention, he said, "What you just saw is this sunset in the west?"
Zhixiang said: "Yes, when my disciple saw that the time flew away, the rising sun set, and the time was gone, he felt sad and confused, so I asked Master."
Master Qiushui smiled and said, "In a moment, the setting sun will be completely set. By that time, even the sunset glow will not be visible."
Zhixiang was slightly confused and didn't know what Master Qiushui meant, so he could only respond and said, "No."
Master Qiushui looked at the sky in the west and saw the setting sun slowly falling, the sky became darker and darker, and the dusk gradually approached, and said calmly: "The sunset is ruthless and cannot be kept. But tomorrow morning, can you still see this rising day?"
Zhixiang's body shook, and his heart felt moved, and he could not speak for a moment, and there was a look of thinking on his face.
Master Qiushui looked back at Zhixiang, smiled faintly on his face, and no longer spoke.
The sky gradually darkened, and the sunset finally set completely. After a while, a bright moon slowly rose from the east sky, and the moon was as bright as water, shining brightly and sprinkling on the earth.
In the night, Qinglong Temple under the moonlight is quiet and peaceful. Although it is no longer prosperous and lively during the day, it has a kind of quiet beauty.
In the small Qinglong Temple on the top of Qinglong Mountain, in that small courtyard, the master and apprentice stood quietly in the courtyard without saying a word, and stood quietly in the courtyard in the mountain breeze that gently blew past the corner of their clothes.
I don’t know how long it took, but I only saw the moon approaching Zhongtian. In the quiet courtyard, a chuckle suddenly came.
Zhixiang looked joyful in his face. He took a few steps forward and walked to the middle of the courtyard. He looked up at the sky and looked at the moon. He saw the moonlight dazzlingly, sprinkling directly on his moon-white monk's robe, just like frost and snow.
Zhixiang laughed loudly, turned around, knelt down at Master Qiushui who had been smiling beside him, and bowed together and said, "Thank you for your advice, my disciple has realized it."
Master Qiushui's eyes were filled with relief. At this moment, he looked at his disciple kneeling in front of him. Even though he had already reached the state of being calm and unscathed, his face also showed a look of true joy. He reached out and gently stroked Zhixiang's head, and said three words in a row.
"good!"
"good!"
"good!"
"You are talented and rare in the world, but what is more important is that you have another layer of wisdom in Buddhism and Buddhist principles. Among the four brothers of us back then, you, Master Qiu Shui, were the smartest. Unfortunately, although he was smart, he took the wrong path and delayed Buddhism. He sought immortality and finally ended up in an unbearable end. It is your blessing to realize today, and it is also my blessing to Qinglong Temple!"
Zhixiang was stunned, looked up at Master Qiushui and said, "Master, what do you mean? I don't understand very much?"
Master Qiushui shook his head, first reached out to help Zhixiang up, and then the joy on his face gradually faded away, and said lightly: "Over the years, I have been indulging in the worldly affairs day and night, so that my Buddhist understanding has stopped. I am just a waste of this worldly reputation and struggle for half a lifetime, but I can't give up. After your uncle Qiushui passed away, he had the heart to hide the world, but he had no one under his disciples. Facing this master's foundation, although it is an outsider, he cannot give up easily. Now with you, you can go with peace of mind."
Zhixiang was shocked and his face was pale. He knelt down again when he had just stood up and said anxiously: "Master, what are you saying? How can Qinglong Temple leave you? What's more, disciples should accompany their teachers day and night to listen to their teachings. But I hope that the master will never abandon their disciples and the Qinglong Temple and retire!" After that, he kowtowed.
Master Qiushui laughed and then sighed, pulled Zhixiang up, sighed, "Crazy, how can there be a banquet in the world that will never part? However, the matter of returning to the teacher is not urgent, and it can be accomplished in a short time. You don't have to worry. You have to settle everything properly, so I can rest assured."
Zhixiang's eyes were filled with tears, but in the end he knew that Master Qiushui's desire to retreat was unstoppable. Fortunately, as his teacher said, although he had the intention, he had not seen any urgency. When he had the chance in the future, he would just persuade his teacher. Thinking of this, he stopped crying and stood aside.
Master Qiushui looked up at the sky, and saw that the moonlight was clear and desolate and beautiful. He looked at it for a long time and suddenly said, "Let's go in and see the little donor!"
Zhixiang was stunned and said, "What?"
Master Qiushui said lightly: "No matter what, there will be a result," said Master Qiushui, "righteousness, grudges, love and hatred."
After saying that, he stopped talking and walked towards the cottage. Zhixiang slowly followed him, looking at the door getting closer and closer, and somehow, his heart was a little nervous.
It took a day and a night, and what did the emperor do when facing Uncle Qiu Shui?
What will he do?
The answer was in front of them the moment they opened the curtain and pushed open the wooden door and walked into the room gently.
The silver light of the "Yu Ice Plate" is still flashing in the empty room.
Nothing happened!
Master Qiushui took a deep breath and was about to speak, but suddenly he felt the movement behind him. When he turned around, he looked at him, but Zhixiang gently pulled his sleeves. After seeing Master Qiushui turn his head, he signaled with his eyes and looked down at the head of the minister.
Master Qiushui turned his head and frowned. He saw that nothing in the room had changed. Only on the ground where Jiang Chen sat cross-legged, the blue bricks and floors within three feet of the surrounding area were cracked, and dense thin slits crawled all over the ground around him. The closer he got to his body, the denser the thin slits became. When he was within a foot of his body, all the blue bricks were no longer cracked, but completely turned into powder.
During this day and night, no one knew what happened to Jiangchen, and perhaps no one would ever know.
Master Qiushui slowly walked to Jiangchen, looked at the ground in front of him, and said in a peaceful voice: "Donor, you have been here for a day and a night, have you figured it out?"
Jiangchen slowly pulled his eyes back from Qiushui Dharma and looked at Master Qiushui. Master Qiushui was shocked. He saw that Jiangchen had a pale face and tired face. Although he had only been here for a day and a night, he seemed to have vicissitudes of life and had been in the world for a hundred years.
Master Qiushui put his hands together and gently chanted, "Amitabha!"
Jiang Chen slowly stood up, but half of his feet stood up, and suddenly his body trembled, and he was a little unsteady. Zhixiang and Puhong both frowned. When Zhixiang was about to come forward to support him, Jiang Chen had already stood firm again, took a deep breath, and then stood up straight again, facing Master Qiushui.
He could see his body was weak at first glance, but for some reason, at this moment, he seemed as strong and sturdy as Qinglong Mountain.
In the distance, the mountain wind blows, and countless smoke and dust float with the wind, floating in the air, being carried to the distance by the wind, and finally gradually disappears...
After that beast demon catastrophe, from north to south, all the terrible desolate scenery was seen everywhere, with no people in thousands of miles and no sound in a hundred villages, which were often encountered. Because the poisoning day was shorter, it was better in the north. The more you went south, the more severe the tragic scene was.
There are many ruins and ruined towns. Even in the open fields and fields in the wild, white bones can be found from time to time, which is even more shocking. The wind and smoke are bleak, and the scenery is desolate. There are many people in this world, and people like grass ants, can't control their own destiny.
Many people who fled to the north began to slowly return home after confirming that the catastrophe had indeed retreated. The infinitely desolate land gradually began to gain popularity. However, in this scene, there were still many sad atmospheres. Corpse that fell to the ground appeared from time to time on both sides of the road. Some were harmed by beast monsters, and some people, after this disaster, were hungry and cold on the way back to their hometowns and were actually dispersed in a foreign land. Occasionally, there were a few remote places, and rumors of beast monsters harming people were rumored. However, at this time, it was the general trend. Although small beast monsters were still scary, they could no longer stop more people from returning home.
