Section 84 Yan Chenyu and Koala
Little Fish Baby has never been a simple girl. After Yunluo left Sihai City, this cold and beautiful beauty did not go to work, but invited Koala to play with her. This is really strange. Although it is not strange that Yan Chenyu has a Koala phone number at all.
Koala agreed without hesitation. The two beauties went to Yangzhou together. Both sides smiled slightly, as if they were good friends. Just like they had never been to Yangzhou with Yunluo some time ago, the girl was so unpredictable. If Yunluo was still here, she would have been extremely depressed.
In the northern suburbs of the ancient city of Yangzhou, Shugang winds like a lying dragon. The thousand-year-old temple of Daming Temple, which is famous all over the world, lies above the middle peak of Shugang. Daming Temple is not a simple Buddhist temple, but its scope should be "Daming Temple scenery appreciation area".
It consists of five parts: temples, spiritual pagoda, Jianzhen Memorial Hall, Xianren Old Pavilion, and Xiyuan Fangpu. It is a rare tourist destination in China that integrates garden scenery, cultural relics and religious buildings. It is a national cultural treasure with rich historical and cultural connotations.
Since its establishment, Daming Temple has always been said to be "the first scenic spot in Yangzhou". Daming Temple was first built in the Daming year of Emperor Xiaowu of the Southern Dynasty, so it is called "Daming Temple". Over the past 1,500 years, the names of temples have changed. In the first year of Renshou in the Sui Dynasty, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, on the 60th birthday of Yang Jian, the Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, ordered 30 pagodas to be set up in 30 states across the country to worship Buddha bone relics. One of them was built in Daming Temple and called "Qiling Pagoda".
The tower is nine-story high and magnificent, and is known as "the most powerful person in China". Because the temple is named after the pagoda, "Daming Temple" and "Qiling Temple" are called together. Because Daming Temple is located in the Sui Palace and west of the Tang City, it is also called "Western Temple".
In the first year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty, Master Jianzhen, the abbot of Daming Temple, passed on scriptures and precepts here before he traveled to Japan. Because the temple is famous all over the world, it became an important ancient temple in the history of Sino-Japanese Buddhist cultural relics. In the third year of Huichang in the Tang Dynasty, the nine-story singling tower was burned to pieces and was later rebuilt by monks, but it was repeatedly destroyed.
During the Qingli period of the Northern Song Dynasty, Ouyang Xiu was appointed as the prefect of Yangzhou and built Pingshan Hall. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the prefect of Yangzhou Wu Xiu rebuilt Daming Temple. In the 12th year of Chongzhen, Yang Ren, the censor of the Cao Censor, rebuilt it again.
During the prosperous period of the Kangxi and Qianlong periods of the Qing Dynasty, Daming Temple was expanded to be the first of the eight famous temples in Yangzhou. In the 30th year of Qianlong's reign, Qianlong was very unhappy when he saw the word "Da Ming", so he wrote the imperial calligraphy "Imperially engraved Fajing Temple".
In the third year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty, the temple was destroyed by the Taiping Army. Since then, Daming Temple has been built several times and has grown in scale. The current temple was built by Fang Junyi, the commander of the two-quasi-salt transportation of the Qing Dynasty during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty.
The temple was fully maintained and the Buddha statue was gilded. Daming Temple was completely renovated. In order to welcome the statue of Master Jianzhen back to Yangzhou from Japan to visit relatives, it was renamed "Daming Temple". On the way, he passed a Yangzhou Huafang archway, and behind the Huafang was a hotel.
Yan Chenyu and Koala climbed up the steps along a gentle 100-level stone steps. In the square in front of Daming Temple, facing it is a solemn and elegant archway. The archway is built to commemorate the Qiling Tower and Qiling Temple. It has four pillars and three pillars, and the stone foundation is built under it, and it looks like a canopy. There are four words "Qiling Site" written in seal script on the south of the middle gate.
The back of the archway contains four characters: "Fengle Ming District" in seal script. It is named because it was originally Fengle District, Dayi Township. Both sides of the seal script were written by Yao Yu, a salt transport engraving during the Guangxu period. The structure is neat and the font is beautiful. The pair of stone lions standing south in front of the archway are particularly eye-catching. The stone lions are carved according to the specifications of the royal garden, with a strong shape, straight head, squatting, straight waist, and straighten the front paws. They are flat and look out at the distance.
This pair of stone lions is an ancient relics of Chongning Temple, a famous temple in Yangzhou. It was moved here in the 1960s. On the east wall outside the mountain gate, there is a stone carving embedded in the south, with the five characters "The First View of Huaidong" written on it. The stone stone was established during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. It was proposed by Gao Shiyi, the prefect of Yangzhou, and the sentences were written by the famous Song Dynasty poet Qin Shaoyou, who praised the landscape of Daming Temple. The characters were written by the Jintan calligrapher Jiang Heng.
During the Northern Song Dynasty, Yangzhou was under the jurisdiction of Huainan East Road. The famous writer Su Che (Zi You) and Qin Guan (Shao You) visited Daming Temple and wrote poems and sang together. The last sentence of Qin Shao You's poem is: "If tourists talk about the beauty of the arrival of the beauty, they must be the first view of Huainan East." Since then, the Daming Temple scenic area has become the "first view of Huainan East" and is famous all over the world.
In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Yongzheng once wrote a couplet for Daming Temple: "The moon in thousands of pine trees is bright, and the wind at five nights is singing with Zen and tins." Qianlong wrote a couplet: "The wonders of Huaihai are unique in the pure land, and the quiet mountains and mountains face the distant and wonderful and bright mind."
The wall of the west courtyard in front of the temple is a large-character stone carving "The Fifth Spring in the World", written by Wang Yi, written by Xin'an Wang Li Geng. On the east wall of the north courtyard of Qingkong Pavilion on the east side of the Daming Temple, there is a stele of the seal script "The Heart Sutra of Prajna Paramita" by Deng Shiru, a famous calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty, which is a rare treasure of seal script in China.
When writing this Heart Sutra, 61-year-old Deng Shiru lived in the mountain temple for more than a month. He ate vegetarian food every day and personally carved it to show his emancipation. This stele is exquisitely engraved with a vigorous composition, and is Deng Shiru's first masterpiece. On the south wall of the east corridor of the Main Hall, there is also a stone carving of Deng Shiru: "How can articles shock the world, and even write to swordsmen in the world." It is also a treasure of Deng's stone carving.
Different from ordinary temples, the mountain gate hall of Daming Temple also serves as the "Tianwang Hall". The three characters "Daming Temple" on the main gate are engraved by Zhao Puchu's collection of the "Longzang Temple Stele" of the Sui Dynasty. The font is ancient and elegant.
Yan Chenyu and Koala entered the door and worshipped the sitting statue of Maitreya Buddha, holding a cloth bag in his left hand and a Buddhist bead in his right hand. Buddhism said that he would become the "future Buddha" after Sakyamuni's Nirvana. On both sides there was a couplet written by Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming Taizu, on both sides: a big belly can accommodate things that are difficult to tolerate in the world; a kind face always smiles, laughs at ridiculous people in the world.
The back of Maitreya was like the guardian Weituo. He held Mount Sumeru with his left hand and pressed the "Demon-Subduing Pestle" with his right hand to protect Shibian Muni and preach, so he was called the Dharma protector in Buddhism.
Four heavenly kings are arranged on the east and west sides of the hall, namely: the heavenly king of the East holding a country, holding a pipa, can protect the country; the heavenly king of the South growing a country, holding a sword, can make people have good roots grow.
The Western King of Wide Eyes holds a bead in his left hand and a dragon in his right hand, and can observe quietly and protect the people; the Northern King of Wide Eyes holds a silver mouse in his left hand and an umbrella in his right hand, and can protect the people's wealth and blessings.
Yan Chenyu and Koala came out from the north gate of the Heavenly King Hall, but they saw the courtyard wide open, ancient trees were towering, and cigarette smoke was lingering. There were century-old cypresses on the east side of the courtyard, and century-old boxwoods on the west side. There was a slope about 2 meters high at the north end, and there were 15 stone steps along the slope.
In front of the Daxiong Temple, there is a three-legged two-story hexagonal pagoda-shaped treasure tripod. The front of the tripod is engraved with "Daming Temple" and the back of the "Ten Thousand Years of Treasure Tripod" and the "1981 AD" is engraved with "The abbot of Xinyou autumn in 1981 AD and the two monks standing together."
The main hall faces north and south, with a triple-eave hip roof, a gray tiles roof, and an empty flower ridge. A treasure mirror is embedded on the top of the roof, with bricks on the front, and the four words "Good weather and good weather" are engraved on the back, and bricks on the back are engraved on the words "God of Peace and Peace of the People".
This statement comes from Buddhism, meaning that the Buddhas and gods of the Great Hall and the Heavenly King Hall shoulder the important task of protecting the peace and prosperity of the world and making the weather smooth. Buckets are set up around the upper eaves, middle eaves, and lower eaves to make the eaves stand out and form eaves. The horizontal plaque of the "Taoxiong Hall" is hung under the middle eaves. A hard mountain corridor is attached to the front and back, and the inner eaves are equipped with 24 door grids. A door is set up along the middle of the wall to open the backyard.
The Dharma image in the temple is solemn, the sutras are solemn, and all the magical instruments are all included. The Sakyamuni Buddha, sitting on the lotus platform in the middle, is respected as "Maharaoh". On both sides of the Buddha are Kashyapa and Ananda, one of his ten disciples. After the Buddha's death, Kashyapa presided over the first gathering of Buddhist believers on Mount Lingjiu. Ananda was the Buddha's cousin, smart and wise, good at memory. He followed the Buddha for 25 years and wrote the content of the Buddha's preaching during his lifetime on the leaves of the Bayeous Tree to become a Buddhist scripture.
The eastern head of the Great Buddha is the Medicine Buddha, who is in charge of the "Eastern Pure Glazed World"; the western head is Amitabha Buddha, who is in charge of the "Western Pure Land".
Like other temples, behind the Buddha altar is a group of clay statues of "Island Guanyin". Guanyin is the first Bodhisattva in the Western Paradise. She can save all suffering in the world, so she is called the great compassionate Bodhisattva.
On both sides of the Buddha altar are the eighteen Arhat statues. The statues in the hall are all renovated, with golden radiance and solemn appearance. There are many monks in the Daming Temple, and the incense is constantly on the rise and tourists are everywhere. Every New Year's Eve, a bell-striking event is held in the temple, and Chinese and foreign guests gather together to pray for peace and blessing.
The Sutra Tower with a two-story, five-column single-eaves and hard mountain top is an important part of the Daming Temple. It has a spacious and spacious corridor, and the "Falun wheel always turns" is embedded on the ridge, and the "National and Peaceful People" is engraved. The plaque of the Sutra Tower is written by Zhao Puchu.
Yan Chenyu and Koala passed through the octagonal gate of "Wen'ao District". On the east side of the courtyard of Daming Temple, they saw a three-story high and three-bedroom, single-eaved hip-mounted pavilion standing in front of us, with a plaque "Pingyuan Tower" hanging on it.
This building was built in the early days of Guanglu Temple in the tenth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1732). The building was named after the Song Dynasty painter Guo Xi's "Landscape Message": From the near mountain to the distant mountain, it is called the meaning of flatness and distance.
During the Xianfeng period, the building was destroyed by war. During the Tongzhi period, Fang Junyi, the salt transport envoy of the Lianghuai River, rebuilt it, and added the title of "Pingyuan Tower", and wrote a couplet: "Two golden charcoals help to chant in the cup; the two peaks are now towering and beautiful, and thousands of pine trees are surging, and the sound of waves outside the threshold is coming." The couplet is a majestic sentence, and the scenery outside the building is extremely appropriate.
Pingyuan Tower has three floors, exquisite construction, with the courtyard of bamboo and stone, now it is the abbot's room. The north of Pingyuan Tower is the Qingkong Pavilion, which is now the exhibition room for learning about the true deeds.
Yan Chenyu and Koala entered the courtyard in front of the building. The horizontal plaque in the courtyard was engraved with the four bodies of "Stone House of Seals in the Heart". This was written by Emperor Daoguang for Tao Shu, a Jinshi during the Jiaqing period.
Tao Shu lives by Dongting Lake. Because there is a stone in the pond at the door of his house, it is square like a seal, called "Yinxin Stone". Tao Shu followed his father to study since he was a child, and his study was on the north bank of "Yinxin Stone", so it was named "Yinxin Stone House".
