Chapter 627 The Birthplace of Zisha Teapot

Although the princess dared not walk on the transparent glass trestle, she was very interested in this kind of high-altitude overlooking. Even if the height of the Shanghai Central Building is far greater than that of the Global Financial Center Building, the ground of the Shanghai Top Tourist Hall is opaque, so she is not afraid at all here.

After all, the Shanghai Top Tourist Hall is located on the 118th floor, with an altitude of 546 meters. At this height, you will step on the entire Shanghai.

Princess was very interested in the coin-operated telescopes in the hall. After watching them one after another for more than an hour, she reluctantly left the telescope. There were many tourists who came here to see, including tourists who like to watch with telescopes. Princess could not occupy a telescope by herself, so once someone wanted to use a telescope, she would give it to others and wait until others finished watching before continuing to watch.

After seeing most of the Shanghai Sea through a telescope, Gege pulled Yang Jing to buy a lot of postcards, then wrote many names and addresses on these postcards, and threw these postcards into the green postbox located on the side of the tourist hall.

This postbox is currently the tallest artificial building postbox in China and the second tallest artificial building postbox in the world, second only to the post office located on the 148th floor of Burj Khalifa, which is 555 meters above sea level.

Of course, the altitude of this postbox is only 546 meters, which is far from the world's highest post office located at the base camp of Mount Everest, with an altitude of 5,200 meters, and even much worse than the highest post office in Europe on the top of Jungfrau, Switzerland. But after all, this is a post office in an artificial building. It is actually very memorable to send postcards on this postbox.

In particular, the princess sent a postcard to the couple in her own name and Yang Jing. After they got home, they would be even more commemorative.

After getting off from the Shanghai Center, the four of them drove straight to Wuzhen more than 100 kilometers away after lunch.

Wuzhen is one of the first famous historical and cultural towns in China, the top ten charming towns in China, the country's beautiful environment and a national 5a-level scenic spot. It is known as the "Last Pillow Water Family in China". It has more than 7,000 civilization history and 1,300 years of town construction. It is a typical ancient Chinese water town in Jiangnan, and is known as the "town of fish and rice, and the palace of silk".

Wuzhen was originally named Wudun and Qingdun. It was originally bounded by Shihe and was divided into two towns, Wuqing, Hexi is Wuzhen and Hedong is Qingzhen. After liberation, Wuzhen west of Shihe was transferred to Tongxiang County, and it was collectively called Wuzhen.

This quaint town is a typical Han water town in Jiangnan region, which completely preserves the style and pattern of the water town in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period. It builds houses on the river, deep houses, heavy ridges and high eaves, antiques, stone paths, old wooden houses, and clear lake water atmosphere. In the words of the princess, when you come here to play, you will see a kind of emotion and an atmosphere.

Yang Jing and Gege had been to Zhouzhuang Town and Tongli Town before, but neither of them had been to Wuzhen, so after coming out of Shanghai this time, Gege would come to Wuzhen for a trip.

And it happens that three days are left on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. There is another important custom activity in Wuzhen on the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, that is, "Landscape Bridge".

The fifteenth day of the first lunar month is the Lantern Festival, commonly known as the "middle of the first lunar month". People in Wuzhen have the custom of walking on the bridge, that is, they travel together after nightfall, and they have to walk on ten bridges on the way, and the route cannot be repeated. This custom originated from a common disaster relief activity with women as the main body in the old days, called "walking ten bridges" or "removing hundreds of diseases".

In ancient times, women brought a clay pot that usually decocted medicine after dressing up, and threw the clay pot into the river when crossing the bridge, believing that this would ensure that it would be free from illness and disaster in the new year. However, in modern times, clay pots would not be thrown, but the activity of "walking on the bridge" has been passed down.

How could the princess not participate in such a fun and meaningful event? Even though there are still three days before the Lantern Festival, Princess has arrived in Wuzhen for a while and took a rest, she pulled Yang Jing out of the hotel. While taking a boat to experience the charm of the ancient town, she began to explore the route of "walking the bridge" at night.

It is rare that this girl is so interested in this customary activity, and Yang Jing is happy to play with her, so the two big foreigners followed behind their butts. This strange combination just shuttled through the streets and alleys of Wuzhen.

After dinner in the evening, the four started to "walking on the bridge", to be precise, Yang Jing and the three big men accompanied the princess to walk the bridge together. But what made them happy was that even though the Lantern Festival was not yet on, there were still many big girls and wives at night, all dressed up and walked out to walk the bridge beautifully.

Occasionally, when I meet a lady walking on the bridge, whether she knows it or not, she will greet her politely. If she feels good, she will even stop and say a few words to share her experience of the route of walking on the bridge.

Anyway, the princess was particularly happy that night, and Clark and John, who had been following behind her, were also giggling. Although they didn't know what to wander around here in the dark sky, they could also feel the good mood of the boss and the boss lady. In addition, there was almost nothing they had with them during this period. While they were happy with the boss and the boss lady, they also secretly lamented the good public security in China.

After staying in the hotel for a night, four people drove two cars early the next morning. Although it was a return trip, the next stop was not Jinling, but Yixing on the Taihu Line.

There are only more than 100 kilometers from Wuzhen to Yixing, and the entire expressway can be reached in more than an hour.

The reason why I went to Yixing was mainly because Yang Jing wanted to go and see it. After all, it was the "Tao Capital" of China, and it was also the hometown of Mr. Gu Jingzhou, a master of purple clay teapots. Since I came to Wuzhen, I happened to pass by Yixing when I went back. If I didn't stop in Yixing, Yang Jing felt sorry for him.

The reason why Yixing is called the "Huaxia Pottery Capital" is said to have been that after Fan Li assisted King Goujian of Yue to overthrow the King of Chu, he retreated bravely and retreated to the shore of Xihu Lake with his beauty Xishi. This pair of fairy couples once made pottery in Yixing for a generation, so Yixing was later praised as the "Portrait Capital". There is still a Li River in Yixing now. It is said that it is the name given to commemorate Fan Li and Xishi's boating here.

Yixing is not only the pottery capital of China, but also the birthplace of China's purple clay culture. In this small city, a generation of purple clay teapot masters such as Chen Mingyuan and Gu Jingzhou were born. Dingshu Town, located in the south of Yixing city, is the real origin of purple clay culture.

The town is not big. The Li River looks at the town from north to south. The real birthplace of purple clay culture in the town is the ancient south street of Shushan located on the east bank of the Li River.

The Shu Mountain in Yixing is not the big mountains in Sichuan Province. This mountain is just a small mountain with an altitude of dozens of meters. It is just because Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, once said that "this mountain is like Shu", so it is named "Shu Mountain".

The ancient south street of Shushan is located at the foot of Shushan, bordering the Li River to the west, and can be said to be surrounded by mountains and rivers.

The land is often awesome!

This Chang Ancient Street is not only the birthplace of Yixing purple clay, but also the production and sales center of Yixing purple clay from the middle and late Ming Dynasty to the 1960s. It is also the cradle of purple clay art masters. A large number of purple clay teapot masters, including Chen Mingyuan, Gu Jingzhou, Zhang Hongshou, Gu Shaopei, Wu Yungen, Ren Ganting, etc. were born.

In ancient times, this place was extremely prosperous. The mountain was filled with mud and fire. Merchants gathered at the foot of the mountain. More than half of the residents were engaged in the production and operation of purple clay. The fired purple clay utensils set off from the Lihe Wharf and were transported to all parts of the country after entering Taihu Lake... The bustling of Shushan lasted for nearly five hundred years. It was not until after the reform and opening up that with the development of land transportation, the purple clay production center was transferred to Dingshan, and Shushan fell silent.

Yang Jing and the other four parked their cars outside and walked into Gunan Street.

This street is only one thousand meters long and only three or four meters wide. It is a small street paved with stones. The small ones cannot even see this ancient street on ordinary maps.

On this street full of ancient charm, there are two-story brick and wood buildings on both sides, purple clay teapot shops, teahouses, cloth shops, and small hardware shops everywhere, wooden doors, lattice windows, telephone booths, and small advertisements with QR codes... History and reality, ancient and modern are blended here.

If Wuzhen seems to be a quiet and virtuous young woman, then this Gunan Street is a knight who has traveled through the world. Although both are very ancient, their charm is completely different.

Princess is also very interested in this ancient street. She has been to Yixing, but has never been here.

There are a large number of former residences of the purple clay pot master on both sides of the ancient street. You can see the former residence of a purple clay pot master in just a few steps. There are also many antique wooden doors, and various small signs are hung on it, with some content that Yang Jing and Princess can't understand.

For example, two people saw an antique wooden sign next to a door with the words "Yihu Jiangnan" written on it. Of course, the two people didn't know what this meant, and they thought that this house was the former residence of a deceased purple clay pot master. As a result, when the person next to him found out that this was a purple clay pot studio...

The two of them also found a wooden sign in front of another old house that looked full of historical sense, with the words "Shushan Father's House" written on it. How grand is this name? It should be the former residence of a master. After looking closely, there was a line of small characters next to the four big characters. After reading it, they couldn't help but be happy. Because this house is still a modern purple clay teapot studio...

Of course, the most common ones along the way are the former residences of the world-famous Zisha Teapot Masters. Needless to mention Master Gu Jingzhou's former residence, in addition, they also saw the former residences of Zhang Hongshou, Huang Fenglai Huang Zhiqiang's former residence, Xu Xiutang's former residence, Ren Ganting's former residence and other series of former residences of masters.

The whole ancient street is not big, but it is a pilgrimage place for purple clay lovers. Here, you can open a family at will, and maybe you can have a conversation with the master.

Since he came here, Yang Jing was thinking. Although Mr. Gu Jingzhou had only passed away for more than 20 years, the purple clay teapot he made himself is now a national treasure. He can start with an eight-digit number and has great collection value.
