Chapter 58 Handprints
In the Sanye’s house, there are people from Qilian Village.
Cai Hongming, Eighth Duke, Third Master, Fifth Master, and Uncle Fu were all curiously looking at the Buddha's hands picked up by Third Master on the table.
The Buddha's hand is very big, about half a meter long and about thirty centimeters wide, and the seal in the Buddha's hand is at least fifteen centimeters, which accounts for more than half of the palm of the hand, making the huge seal of the palm of the hand.
"According to what you say, this thing should be weird." Hachigong nodded when he heard Cai Hongming's analysis of Buddha's hands.
Although the Third Master also had this feeling, he looked around and couldn't tell half of it. As for the Fifth Master and Uncle Sha, they were all the same as those who made soy sauce, and it didn't matter whether they understood it clearly.
The Buddha's hand was picked up by the third master and rubbed it. It looked very smooth, but there was still dust. Cai Hongming went to take a roll of paper and wiped it carefully. As he wiped it, he suddenly realized that the seal on the palm of the Buddha's hand was not connected to the Buddha's hand, and there was a gap in the middle, which was obviously put in.
Cai Hongming grabbed the seal and pulled it, without moving at all. Thinking of the mechanism button on the Vajra Demon Subduing Pestle just now, he thought if there were any on it, so he started looking for it.
Unfortunately, he was disappointed.
He looked carefully, pressed his fingers all over his palm, and even shook his fingers with his handprints hard, but there was no movement at all, and he felt a little discouraged.
Uncle Sha was also interested when he saw him pressing the Buddha's hand and stretched out his hand to press the seal on the Buddha's palm. Suddenly, with a "kla" sound, the seal on the Buddha's palm floated up from the palm of his hand.
Cai Hongming looked at Uncle Sha blankly and didn't say anything for a long time. Everyone said that stupid people have good fortune, but this sentence is really true.
He picked up the seal that was floating on his palm and found that there was a layer of white jade cover on the seal. How luxurious it was to use white jade as a lid to cover the seal. After looking at it, he picked up the white jade cover on it, and suddenly he found that there was a mini Thousand-Handed Buddha carved on the seal. The face of this Thousand-Handed Buddha was like he was in the Buddhist temple in the desert. He held various magical instruments on the Thousand-Handed Buddha, closed his eyes and looked down, lifelike. How exquisite is this to carve such a Thousand-Handed Buddha. At this moment, Cai Hongming was stunned by the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancients.
"Good thing." Hachiko couldn't help but shout after seeing it.
Cai Hongming couldn't laugh or cry, so what about good things? They can't be eaten as food.
The seal in his hand was brought out from the Lama Temple with great effort, and there must be a problem. In religion, this seal is also called the Dharma seal. The earliest one to use the Dharma seal was Taoism. Because this is the seal engraved by the great masters of Taoism in the past dynasties, following the names of the Three Pure Gods, the titles of the Ghost and Gods Office and the contents of important Taoist scriptures because of the needs of religious rituals, the seals engraved on the basis of the human emperor's jade seal and the official seal of the official government, symbolizing the power and majesty of the gods and true spirits in the heaven, earth, and underworld.
According to research, long before the formation of Taoism, the alchemists and wizards of the Qin and Han dynasties had already used seals like official seals in activities such as activities such as treatment of diseases, relieving evil, warding off evil spirits, and achieving spiritual power.
Later generations called this type of seal "Yuanshi Seal" and also called "Taoist Seal".
According to the "Ancient Seals" records, the trend of alchemists using seals was extremely popular during the Qin and Han dynasties. They often wore seals such as "Huang Shenyue Zhang" and "Envoy the Emperor of Heaven" on their waists; and they quoted "Records of the Grand Historian: Xiaowu's Book of Fengshan as evidence, and they were collectively called "Alchemist Seal". For example, in "The Basic Anchemist of Xiaowu", Luan Dajin met Emperor Wu, and Emperor Wu appointed him as the general of Wuli, "get four gold seals, and wore the general of heaven, general of earth, general of Datong, and general of heaven." This shows that Emperor Wu granted Luan Daquan seals and recognized his power and status to communicate with ghosts and gods in heaven.
In Taoism, the seal represents the authority of the gods in the three realms, so the use of seals is like the palace seals that must be used for administrative administration on earth.
Volume 27 of Ning Quanzhen of the Southern Song Dynasty, "The Great Method of Lingbao in Shangqing" says: "Seal means faith; use means sealing things in the same way. It is also the trust held by the ruler.
"Han Guanyi" says: Kings and princes call seals, and the two marquises in the middle are called seals, and the rest are called seals. This is the seal. In ancient times, people and ghosts were at their place, and yin and yang were not mixed with their relationship. Therefore, the use of Tao was only seen in the cultivation of truth and practice, and even ascending to the light. In the middle ages, the slow truth and truth are increasing, the right path is engraved, the evil and false intercourse are intertwined, and the upper and lower parts are repeated. Therefore, the method is used to save the bad, the seal is expressed to express its enthusiasm, and the seal is reduced to the trustworthy. Therefore, the meaning of using seals is similar to the world, and it is also the benefit and loss of Taoism due to the time."
Volume 1 of Lingbao Yujian also says: "The law is to say the right way, and it is correct and evil. It is just like the virtue and etiquette and the law is in harmony. Therefore, the seal of the Heavenly Palace must be used to show faith. The seals are all passed down by teachers, and the gods and ghosts in heaven know what they do and what they accept."
Therefore, the Dharma Seal not only represents the supreme majesty and sacredness of the gods and true spirits, but also is the token of orderly inheritance of various Taoist sects.
In other words, the seal in Cai Hongming's hand is very likely to be a token of inheritance from a sect in Tibetan Buddhism. This can explain why there are so many good things in the Buddhist temple, but someone broke the Buddha's hand with a seal on the palm of his hand.
Since it is a inherited thing, relevant classics have been recorded, so this exquisite seal carved with a Thousand-Handed Buddha statue cannot be taken, otherwise someone will come to you and you will be unable to take it.
If something related to religious sects is sold, it will cause a lot of trouble. There is no absolute right and no one dares to mess with it, let alone a commoner like Cai Hongming.
Therefore, I can only put away this kind of good thing and enjoy it slowly.
Suddenly, Cai Hongming was a little excited. He spent so much energy but didn't earn half a cent of money. It was meaningless.
So he put the seal back and told the Third Master to hide it well. Unexpectedly, the Third Master didn't want it anymore. Although he didn't believe in Buddhism, he felt uncomfortable with putting such a hand at home, so he gave it to him. Helplessly, he had to put it away.
A few days later, the workers used cement columns and barbed wire to surround the 1,000 acres of land that Cai Hongming bought.
Seeing that the weather was OK, Cai Hongming asked the forklift who had finished digging a large lake near Qilian Village to store water. Although there is no water now, when the snow melts next year, the water will flow down from the mountain, and then there will be water in the lake. Then he will take a stream of spring water from the mountain to this side. I believe that even when it is hot, it will not dry up so easily.
With this lake water used for irrigation and watering, there should be no need to worry about lack of water in a short period of time.
Under his instructions, several excavators dug up on the sand without stopping.
